Now that this game has been released to a wider audience on steam. What are some similar games like it? I've not found anything to scratch that itch. Hypnospace Outlaw is the only thing that has come close. Any recommendations? Also just a general thread about weird games.

Try SMT: Nocturne. When I later played Killer7 it gave me a similar vibe to SMT: Nocturne. They're very different styles of games but I feel like it'll give you the same appeal.

I've been meaning to play that but I always wondered but without getting spoiled. Is it just horror or just weird? I like that fine line that killer7 plays by being really weird and has horror elements but isn't outright horror.

Been meaning to play since I'm a big fan of SMT but the price for a used copy needs to come down.
Just waiting for a sale on Silver Case, have also played both No More Heroes and while I love NMH, it's definitely not on that same level. Flower, Sun and Rain seems interesting but AFAIK the DS version sucks and there's no PS2 translation yet.

Sealed copies can be found for $15-20, are you not a burger? Even then you can emulate it, you need to fuck around pcsx2 a bit to get running with no problems but there should be guides on the best settings to use.

I can play it on PC just fine. The only glitchy thing is it will crash sometimes for no good reason. Save often and you're fine.
