What does that even mean? How does a fanbase have any impact on the game itself whatsoever?

What was in the demo was different than what was the ultimate package of a game with inconsitent style and a soundtrack of one song remixed over and over. Instead of a game that changed based on what you did, you got a game that changed some text at the end unless you went totally one way or the other, and even then the differences are minimal.

I hate using buzzwords but it has so much SOUL. I feel a happiness after each playing session that I don’t get from most other games.

Overall it's not a bad game, but it's not for me. I can see why a teenager or a woman would like it, it's a casual heartwarming experience, but it has no bite and it had no impact for me, not even the "scary" genocide ending.
Also I know these threads are just an excuse for people to say "durr you only hate it because it's popular" and dumping furry porn, but I wanted to reply honestly anyways because no one will read this and know I'm gay.

No, the game is good. It has a fantastic soundtrack. It plays on the genre and expectations quite well.
The fanbase is pure cancer and annoying as hell.
So enjoy it, but don't talk about it.

I really dislike very obvious out of nowhere references like that. That scene had a special meaning on the context of FF VI, whereas is just "REMEMBER FINAL FANTASY 6? LOL RANDOM ROBOT OF D00M" in Undertale.
