It's pretty redundant, but it will give you more options and seduction lets you get some easy blood in clubs.
Persuasion > female with seduction > intimidation > male with seduction

Seduction, if you're playing a male character, is pretty much just used to get blood from women at bars, some funny dialogue when you try and use it on a straight male character, but it actually does help

Unrelated to the person I'm replying to, what do the homosexual histories do? Do they switch which genders the seduction and stuff works on? It basically just says "You've always liked your own gender." and nothing else. Does it make seduction not useless on a male character?

Yes and no. As long as you do as many side quests as you can you’ll usually have enough points to throw around in redundant or “extra” skills. Seduction is mainly for getting consistent blood dolls in each hub area, as well as some extra dialogue options. Persuasion is the ideal social skill, but it won’t gimp you to dip in another.

Except Intimidation. Avoid that shit. It’s about half as effective as Persuasion and often does the opposite of what you’d hope.

World of Darkness wasn't always so bloated with shit. Mages and demons tend to be more concerned with cosmic shit though, and Werewolves primarily with fighting corporations and Killin vampires. And Changeling's are too busy hiding.

Nah it has the best quests (disregarding the sewer). Downtown has the better layout. But the atmosphere and characters (Isaac, Andrei) of Hollywood are superb. Plus I never really liked how Downtown has the Anarch HQ, Camarilla HQ, and Sabbat HQ all in spitting distance of eachother. You'd think they'd end up bumping into eachother one night.

Tremere is a good clan to start with since they're by far the most effective in combat. Like bloodsucking space marines at max level.

I am struggling to pick between Tremere or Malkavian for my first playthrough, Tremere seems to be all round better since Dominate looks like to be a better demention in every way but I've heard Thaumaturgy is just too op and makes the game way too easy

Do pick Malkavian for your first playthrough. It's fun as fuck, 'cause you'll have dialogue options which hint at upcoming plot points, if you can figure out just what they mean. You get to experience it just like a Malkavian actually would, in other words. I have to assume is just a brainlet.

You get at Andrei, tell him he is cool and that you want to join the sabbat. He ignores you and you both fight. Then at hotel mission nearing the end you can join Andrei e pretend to have exterminated all the sabbat in the city. Then you get to choose when talking to the cabbi nearing the end.
You might wanna go dancing and get some of that humanity back.

The whole point is that they are above humans. They even say it in game: they don't think about it much. Humans to a vampire are like cows to humans. You don't cry if one dies, but that doesn't mean you go out slaughtering them for fun.
Them not being very concerned about kine beyond being found out is pretty inline for the anarchs.

You can rapidly swing the katana by tapping W and Left Click simultaneously over and over. It will reset your 3 hit combo back to the first attack which is the fastest and has the least ending lag. Killed Ming Xiao before I even had to reuse buffs because the resetting of that attack with the speed bonus of Celerity was enough to completely obliterate her.

You could argue that you're talking to Bach before the Red Fear begins since dialogue is a free action, and afterward your character would immediately be noticing the fire.

That's not true. You still control the character with either Willpower to delay the frenzy or use Instinct or Self Control. Even if you fail what you have to do is just have to make actions that contribute to ending the stimulus in a short sighted fashion. Which is exactly what you do in the game.
