Is the DMC frachise something like Resident evil where it could handle spin off like that?
While it could be cool to get a full Nero game and full Dante game, I doubt they'd ever get something like that to happen.

With how 5 Nero revolves a lot on Devil Breakers I'm unsure how they'd add more ranged weapons and melee weapons to him to flow smoothly, because if he had a game solo I'd definitely want more weapons than just his default set, as breakers wouldn't be enough at that point.

I feel guilty about finding Nero so attractive because he is a taken man

Nero's fine. He isn't Dante level good, either as a character or in terms of gameplay, but he provides a healthy dose of variety for the series to keep it interesting. My only problem is that he is not MC material and cannot carry DMC on his own. Dante is, was and always will be the heart and soul of the series, and I think it's about time the spotlight shines mainly on him again in DMC6.

I'd need to play it myself to really tell, but this just looks like a faster movement kingdom hearts, which already sounds like an improvement to kingdom hearts

They're not going to split characters apart especially after the franchise being more successful than it ever has been with this direction. Capcom's two most successful DMC games are the two with an ensemble of characters to play. Buyers expect it now for the series. Spinoffs are not only stupid, but will hurt potential sales of both sides.

Though since it's Rebellion merged with Sparda it's hard to imagine what that form would be.
Force Edge is guaranteed if Vergil shows up because they already have to model it for summoned swords.

Vergil almost destroys the world twice, once for more power and once so he can prove he's a better fighter than his brother, so him being the ego is obvious.

The id is like the really basic, primal part of you that is driven almost purely by desire. It's basically like a baby in an adults body, this explains Urizen's odd dialogue and extreme fixations, as well as his ability to kill millions without any (moral) hesitation. He also gets visibly mad when things get in the way of his desires ("WHO DARES INTERFERE", "HOW DARE YOU STRIKE ME" etc.).

It's only when the weak super ego is separated from the overwhelming ego and id that V can realise how much wrong he's done. What's even more interesting is that V, despite being extremely underdeveloped and weak compared to the other parts of Vergil, actually accomplishes his goals by the end of the game, unlike the other two (Urizen technically achieves his goal and wins the qliphothbowl but is still defeated by Dante, suggesting that he's missing something more than power).

It's hard to tell what the game is trying to say about Vergil as a character since when he merges back together there's very little indication that he's learned anything; he doesn't try ti make amends for the bad stuff he's done and walks out on Nero (again). I wouldn't mind watching/reading an essay about this game's story by someone who knows what they're talking about as I can't make my mind up about it.

Don't read too much into it, user. As much as i like dmc 5, the story is definitely not its strongest aspect. The only character with a complete arc is nero, and MAYBE vergil, since we don't know if he really is going to calm the fuck down for once.

Virgil shows he does remember things form being V. This is due to his thanking Nero before leaving with the Yamato. Also he gave up his fixation with proving his power over Dante. Him and Dante are currently working together in the underworld. When Virgil was first sent to the underworld, he was alone. Now they are both there. Meaning the outcome this time around will be better for the both of them and cause great change in Virgil. This is also cemented in by the fact Virgil gave his book of pems to Nero. As a promise to return and a memento of his time spent with NEro and friends as V. He most definatly does remember being V. But for Virgil, and even Dante it is easier to run away and fight the underworld, than to say attend patties birthday, or spend time with Nero.

Meh I don't really care about high or low "skill level" because literally all the characters in the game can cheese all the mobs and bosses in the game without even needing to combo out the ass. All that shit is fluff, but not necessary to actually get through the game.

My reason for liking playing as Nero isn't because he's "easy" or whatever. I took a liking to him because I like how weighty his moves are. When he performs an action it really feels like there is power in his hits. It genuinely feels like you're beating the shit out of demons, and I love it. I love Dante's gameplay as well, but his hits are more like "love taps" compared to Nero's. There's no "ooomph". When Nero is bashing a demon into the ground. I FEEL that shit. Just don''t get the same with Dante. Though I loved all the characters in this game.

Because there's nothing that hasn't been merged. In 3 there's Dante's human and demon half, in 5 there's Dante and Sparda

Dante already knew from when V first introduced himself.
As for letting them merge, V's initial plan was to just have Dante kill Urizen, but when the opportunity presented itself he took it. Just caught Dante off guard, really.

Is it really clear what Vergil is actually doing once he gets back together? He just fucks off to Final Destination so Dante can recover and they can fight.
Intent probably matters too or Vergil would be constantly opening portals.

I don't think DMC5's story is as bad as people have said it is tbqh, but with what you said about it not seeming as if Vergil has learned anything, I feel like DMC5's story would have benefitted from being like a few missions longer. Nothing too much like how some people were originally speculating 30, but still. However there is that one part of Vergil on top of the tree thinking about he and Dante's life ("Would I have your life, and you mine?") that feels like him sort of reflecting on the path he took in life, it's just more subtle.

Dunno. I personally got AMD and I had huge problems myself with updating newer versions since Februrary for some reason.
Every time I tried to "upgrade" it, I too would end up with fucking blue screen if I tried to play some game. I literally need to:

>completely delete AMD
>remove it from device manager as well
>completely remove any leftover and registry left when it comes to AMD
>then do "chkdsk" which can take a long ass time to finish
>then do "sfc/scannow"
>reboot

I like this, however like said, some of V's actions bled through Vergil, proving that he does indeed retain a memory of V's actions.

If being loved and protected was something Vergil needed/craved or thought was missing in his life. His time as V proved that he wasn't discarded, that someone cares for him (Dante?, Nero, (perhap Nico too when she's not trying to run him over))

I personally think Trish played a big role in his development, perhaps he did still see her as a mother in some twisted sense and sought some form of validation like a child would. Be it blame or praise. In the end she saved him. To me that scene was so meaningful, along with Nero helping him up.

It kinda showed him abit of something and in the end Vergil expresses gratitude towards Nero....I never thought Vergil could ever be sincere the scene was both endearing and somewhat jarring, but I liked it.

AMD is way better when it comes to that, Nvidia is a huge piece of shit and gives me nothign but issues. That being said always use DDU before using the latest drivers.

I can't ever get into KH because:

1. Tetsuya Nomura's character designs are so vulgar to my eyes. Every time I watch a gameplay video and see Sora's ugly mug, I just feel like punching my screen. Nomura is one of the worst character designers in gaming history.
2. The sound design of weapon hit feels so weak. It's nothing like the visceral and thundering hits of DMC5, Sekiro or Monster Hunter World (to name three Japanese action games I have played recently).

KH may have the best combat in in ARPGs, but I don't care because of these two things.

Vergil's change could be read as soon as he appears, and the difference to his DMC3 personality is clear.
Just as he's about to go through the portal, but takes the time to say very sincerely, "Thank you, Nero." Vergil clearly retained his memories as V by addressing Nero, the things that V had said up to that point were of Vergil without the whole POWER thing influencing his judgement. He had moments of clarity and a good heart to heart with Nero on the way up the Qliphoth.
In addition, he likely also retained the bit of taunting that Urizen received in M17, with his and Dante's exchange about "real power".

The overall demeanor and expressions (thanks to the much more expressive facial capture) during Mission 19 gave off that Vergil and Dante felt what was to come was something that needed to be done. When Dante approaches Vergil, their lines regarding "give me the Yamato" are expressed with a level of exasperation and futility. Both assumed the other simply wouldn't give up, they have resigned themselves to thinking that one of them has to die. When the two of them reflect upon old times, there is little to no malice or defiance in either of their expressions the likes of which you got in nearly every DMC3 cutscene.
After the gameplay during which Dante makes mention of Nero, Vergil is a lot more heated in the cutscene. It was something that unsettled him, something he didn't want getting in the way of what he was determined to finish.

Once Nero steps in and denies the two brothers of their final clash, Vergil basically got the out he was truly looking for... and through Nero, a glimpse of that "real power" Dante alluded to. The experience of Urizen and V are the reason Vergil turned around "so fast" in the final mission. Vergil very quickly goes from that fatal mindset to the equivalent of a childish challenge, "If I beat Nero, I beat Dante," a desire to return to the days of sibling rivalry before the bitter hostility.

Nope. Not very much. It's the same enemies, same behavior, same everything, except that they have more attack power. BUT, and here's the big positive, unlike NG+ in other Souls games, enemies scale with you. So they never feel spongey nor do they feel weak ever. It's very much the way NG+ should have been implemented in previous games.

The one thing that can change NG+ is basically this item that you can remove that basically makes all non-perfect parries cause chip damage. That's it really.

How will knockback priority be determined? Are there attacks which can pin an enemy hard enough that Nero's snatch will fail?

Will it be possible to be Dante playing with another Dante? Will modders make it possible? etc.

All respect to Itsuno and DMC5, it's a great game, but this letter falls flat considering they had all that time and it still feels like they were restricted. Dante could have had an extra weapon or two to cap off his arsenal, Lady and Trish are token inclusions in this game, the pacing is all over the place and the final act COMPLETELY shits itself. I don't know how you're expected to cry rather than laugh when Nero stops in the middle of a dramatic rising action to call his non-character of a girlfriend, and then grows back his fucking arm when she tells him to "just b urself"

Everything that matters in KH2FM(KH2, FM is what made it so good) is visceral as fuck for a kids aesthetic.

Sadly, im a HUGE fucking KH fan for its gameplay, but holy fuck, as I aged, every single KH after 1 and CoM had horrible stories and the most cringe fucking shit ever, even if its sometimes so bad its good. Its embarrassing to play even alone. KH1 story is pure Disney magic kino like its golden age movies, CoM is just a flat out original and great story(Re:CoM is fucking HORRIBLE)

Level 1 critical mode in KH2FM is fucking probably the best ARPG combat without using reflect. Its fucking insane how balanced, hard, and fair it is. Nothing about it is bullshit. I legit have maybe over 600 hours in fucking KH2FM level 1 critical. I did crazy shit like Anti-Sora vs Roxas, where I would reset if I got hit and would never run, I parried everything(if any autists are here, yes you can kill in anti-form using perma anti-form cheats, you cant finish any boss in non-cheat anti-form)

Would Dante ever bang a demon? I mean he sorta accepted his demon side after 3 and Trish is his friend, but only cause she looks like his mum and she showed that she could feel human emotions like compassion and shit. Its more about methodical counters/parries and staggering, than flashy as fuck fast movement and smooth gameplay. Its really not bad, in fact its the 2nd best in the series in combat. Id put CoM 2nd but you can abuse the fuck out of it with 0 and 9 cards.

KH1 was floaty and slow under the disguise that you need to be fast and flashy. KH1FM really fixed a lot of it though with just adding some more moves.
