I thought it was the spear that broke armor so after trying that a few times I just bumped him off the ledge instead. Wasn't a hard fight at all, he was the most telegraphed moveset so far

She's manageable as long as you force her to be in an after-block attack state. Then all she can do is either 2 melee attacks or a grab. Deflect the attacks, dodge the grab and her posture will break in no time. A single mistake means a cannon to the face though.

Why wait for the poison swamp when sabimaru can do the job for you faster

How do I use it effectively? Safe for the Okami women in the palace, I don't get when to use it.

It doesn't matter if it's blocked, poison is a build up. With the base sabimaru the snake eyes take two full combos to get poison.

Enemies with realism also don't block after taking blows from behind almost instantly for the next one or block after attacks that stagger then for the next hit automatically. Its fine enemies try in Sekiro but a game like Ninja Gaiden Black has better enemies when it comes to trying to live and outwit you.

Also Sekiro enemies are just as dumb AI/bait wise whiffing at the air half the time like inbred retards so lets not pretend From was going for AI that feels smart here they're a shit company too bad for that.
