Jigglypuff has a 75% chance to be female and 25% chance to be male, and female pikachus have humps at the end of their tails as opposed to the flat end of the tail that the male has. I'm pretty sure that pikachu in smash only has the flat end of the tail, and is therefore confirmed male.

I don't hate his inclusion but I kind of hate his implementation. He's one of my least favorite characters to play as and against, and because he's DLC too many people play him online.

Half the series is Japan-exclusive meaning it has a fraction of the exposure outside its homeland. And 29 years of Japanese fanbase vs 18 elsewhere. Japan is barely 1/4 of the SSB audience.
