Always got the impression it was more of a cold shoulder from Capcom's part, not downright bad blood. Capcom simply lost interest in Inti. That said, I think Capcom is fine with it as long as Megaman characters don't interact with Inti characters. By the way, time heals all wounds. Who knows? I certainly don't like Inti games, but if even Capcom can better itself over time so why couldn't Inti? They do have potential, they only lack direction. Besides, It is not like either side still has any ties with the conman, both Capcom and Inti parted ways with him.

There was never a source for it, but I've heard that Sonic Team didn't want Sonic in a game with characters like Morrigan, Kaguya, etc.

The character interactions/banter were pretty cool. That was what carried me through 2 playthroughs.

Like I said earlier the gameplay was pretty good, but the later levels drag on way too long with way too many enemies with way too much HP.

Maybe Ryu and the other extras he listed weren't on the first list he received/saw of the roster or something? He never claimed anything was the final roster, and I think it makes him slightly more believable if he isn't just listing every single predictable character right away, because maybe he might have just not had confirmation on those characters yet, who knows how things actually work in the development of these games, assuming OP is inside that deep, or has a friend there.

It could all be fake, and I'm taking it with a grain of salt, but I think its ridiculous to jump to conclusions about certain characters not being listed right away, when nothing has been labeled as the final roster.
I also feel a little bit more inclined to believe OP because of the game at hand, the Namco X Capcom series is a niche, and if OP really wanted to fake a leak for something either for shits and giggles or a bunch of (You)s or even both, why not go for something big like Smash? Why go for a niche series that can barely keep threads alive?
