I only care about Tremere and Malkavians
The buttons have pictures of havens which can be interpreted as
Toreador
Venture
Brujha
Tremere
Nosferatu
Malkavian
Anti-skubs
Cubs fans
Pendejos
Mia Malkovans
Republicans
Wewuz
Wait, they do? What the fuck is the first one? Second one is Ventrue? Third one, I have no idea, it just looks like that club with massacred people in it. Fourth I could see being related to Tremere, but not necessarily, since thin-bloods now have their own Alchemy shit which is just another name for Thaumaturgy. Fifth could easily be Nosferatu, but then again it may just be a screenshot from the trailer, that's where that wave of blood comes bursting forth. And I have no idea what he sixth one represents.
all of them
They'll probably add 4 base clans and add the other ones as dlc
Except they confirmed on multiple occasions that all clans will be patched into the game free of charge.
This seems like the safest bet.
Sauce on that?
Game is gonna suck dick.
>Asked about that, Paradox says that post-release content plans are still in flux, but that they recognize they won’t be releasing new features the way they might for a Crusader Kings or a Cities: Skylines. That said, Paradox is known for releasing some features free, others paid, and that will continue for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2. Right off the bat, I’m told additional clans will come post-release, and that those will be free for all players while story-driven content (for instance) could be paid DLC.

>"The one thing we can say, we will have a good amount of clans in the main game that are really interesting, but we'll support it with more clans after launch," said Christian Schlütter, lead producer at Paradox. "And one thing that you need to write down is that every clan that we release later on will be free. We will never charge you for any clan." I wrote that down.

Why the fuck arent they in to begin with?
What retard thought this one up.
Probably a way to hook in people for content that comes later on.
This makes me worry the differences between each clan are going to be pretty superficial
Yeah, same here. It also makes me worried about unique Disciplines. Like, if the clans are just added in so simply, will we be left without having access to, say, Lasombra's Obtenebration or Tzimisce's Vicissitude?
>first person only
>play as a thin blood
>intro starts nearly identical to VTMB except "omg fire during elysium"
>set during modern times rather than comfy early 2000s
Fuck this shit, I hate it already.
I'm most curious how they'll handle malk, I know there's some screeching about them saying something about it not being very sensitive to mental ill people but I took that more to mean they intend to move away from the lol so randumb fishmalk type in bloodlines and more something else, or make them more pitiable.
You do know that you only play as a thinblood around the beginning right? You get the choose a actual clan later, it starts with you and a shitload of people in a mass embrace.
>be a thin-blood, harbinger of the end times
>lol join any of these clans, you're cool bro
That's even worse. I haven't checked out 5th edition but from the modern supplements Paradox released, I fucking hate it. The whole point of being a thin-blood is that your blood is far too weak to be an actual badass clan vampire.
First game took place at the same time as it was developed in and created somewhat of a time capsule.
I'm not sure I want a time capsue of current year though.
Everything else is fine by me.
It's a thing in v5 iirc, that the camerilla use sanctioned diablerie as a incentive to get thinbloods to do bitchwork for them. Don't know much about v5 though so not sure why they wouldn't want to kill the fags who are signs of the end times. Also I think I heard it's not illegal to do on someone who had a blood hunt called on them, though obviously people still won't like you much for doing it. Could have you corner a really fucked up kindred after barely escaping from other kindred during a bloodhunt, and end up draining them.
>set during modern times rather than comfy early 2000s
No shit brainlet, the game came out in the early 2000's. Not sure why you are opposed to the intro being so similar in that you were a unsanctioned embracing, only this time you were part of a group of people embraced and not on your own.
