I drew porn of the women in this, when I was like 14
Possibly my favorite game of all time
Yeah no, Sin is still mentioned here from time to time.
I have literally never ever seen anybody bring up v2000 who was not me though.
SiN is remembered a hell of a lot more than it ever deserved
Reminds me alot of desert strike, might try it out
This was my favorite game as a kid, even over links awakening. Feels bad not even having nostalgia for a real ultima game.
Sin and Punishment got a boost in popularity with the assist trophy in Brawl and the release on Virtual Console... but that was over a decade ago.
I was about to post Kingpin: Life of Crime.
I realized it was a recommendation from my best friend, who died just a few years ago. FUCK NIGGERS, FUCK JANNIES, AND FUCK HEROIN!!!
The awful voice acting just makes it more memorable
The level progression in that one was honestly pretty great.
I especially loved how there were tons of secret entrances and levels and you even had some loop arounds.
OP
I have had three (3) friends who were addicted to heroin, nearly died, (as in, we are at their bedside in the hospital, saying goodbye to them), they all miraculously lived, and got clean.
Even after all these years, they will tell me, "if you are ever terminally ill or you just want to die, treat yourself to some heroin first."
Weird feel, but I agree with you user.
I got a copy of that game in a magazine and never got to play it cause my mom took it away
I played this game after getting burnt out on Diablo 2
that moment when you can watch the evil bitch in a jaccuzi from some control room with cctv... i got a stiffy
I have never found someone here who recognized this game.
Terra Nova. God tier FMV
What? Its one of the most popular gundam ps2 titles. Second to Zeonic Front.
It's been my go-to game to post in these and have never gotten a response.
I remember that. Feeks bad the sequel on Steam was just 1 episode of 6 then it became vaporware
Here's mine.
I've heard about this a ton but haven't tried it yet. On my list.
I remember the box art for this so much but I never actually played it myself.
Played these.
based
Ow man, sin was so fun
>make Sin, HL drops a few months later and blows FPS out of the water
>make other games
>go back for SIN 2
>just as you make it HL2 drops and again makes your game seem outdated instantly
>HL2 makes episodes
>follow suit making episodes
>studio dies
>valve stops making episodes
Did anybody ever get Sin EP2 demo disk? Or did the og game come with 2 other demos? I remember playing this and and two games from the same disc and can't remember their names.
Fuck Valve.
I think I was the only one who played this unpolished gem. The balance issues it had can be worked around with some codes in an emulator, and it becomes a pretty comfy game.
starcraft 2 with 2 expansions
the best
A lot of people remember that game.
Lmao, Yea Forums black magic.
How long ago was that post ?
I found one of these after looking for it for a long time. I liked Bugs Lost in Time too and this felt like a sequel.
Also, here's my input.
I remember having this as a kid. To this day, it's the only copy i've seen in real life.
A really good old school Hungarian RTS which is getting a remake this year.
Dunno, the first one was better.
Time Busters was way too short.
bázisolt
Damn I remmeber that one mission where you steal back your racecar you see the sexy nazi chick in leather go into the basement, and thats the last you ever see of her.
korcs
>Hungarian
Austria-hungary*. Hungaria only exists to be part of the austrian crown
Nice
>Try to find this game in the interwebz
>barely any mention.
CSAK
Austria has the best city to live in
But it hasn't been relevant for 100 years
Checkmate Atheists
I'm pretty sure the austria-hungarian empire ended 83 years before this game came out.
If you want to mention a rare Gundam game on PS2 try Climax U.C. or Lost War Chronicles.
i recognize it. probably played a demo
I got this with a graphic card ages ago.
It had some impressive light and explosions.
This game aged better than secret of evermore, which i was going to post originaly, but SoE has a killer soundtrack at least
The multiplayer spin-off was so good
please god i can't be the only one
I still play this occasionally and always choose Magpie
Come on, user. You can't possibly be that retarded.
had good fun with it on ps2, and i heard there was even a psp port and wasnt that bad. Maybe i should play the psp port for replaying purposes
nigga I imported this game its so good
>Games that only you remember.
Fuck off, academyfag. Outcast has better combat and at least its not broken whenever you change the stances (only limited to 2 in Academy).
Like a year. It's never coming out
I had both of those. Now this, even GmanLives hasn't reviewed. although a mod, it was a disk included in Quake box so endorsed.
I remember every single one of these and most of these, I'd never think to even be obscure.
>Games that only you remember.
>That reply
Okay, you're probably an actual retard.
Sacrifice
I had this on a demo disc that had parappa the rapper and treasures of the deep on it. The real game goes for a fair bit of money these days.
Numbah 4 had his own game?
no one will ever know this
Johnathan Blow's The Witness, Made, Written and Designed by Johnathan Blow
Shit.
Everyone with a PSX knows of Overboard.
Loved the game on a demo disc
It had some nice tracks like For a New World and Dreams II
games that truly no one remembers wouldn't get replies because nobody would recognize them
I remember playing it at a friend's, it was really fun.
loved this shit as a yongun
comfy
Nobody played this shit. I always saw the box at the store and it looked like shit.
I remember reading about it in some computer magazine.
my first video game i have played at 4 years old
It's stupid to blame Valve. Epic released Unreal in the same year as Half-Life, and yet Tim Sweeney pisses in Gaben's mouth today while Levelord sweeps floors somewhere in Moscow.
Probably isn't massively obscure, but i've not seen this series mentioned or referenced for a very long time now
Loved it as a kid, but sadly, this fell to obscurity pretty soon.
Becomes a blast to play with the camera cheat code and one has to wonder why it wasn't like that in the first place.
This game had some good things going for it but it died a pretty fast death.
I played the shit out of EOE
>tfw no sword gf
Literally no one but me has ever played this
Its a shame this franchise got killed.
I have, thought it was terrible
kino as fuck
No fucking way, I was about to post this.
Best launch title for the Wii, no contest. Even if it's all waggle, the controls just feel right you know?
garbology
For being a game called Sin I actually played it very religiously.
>Games that only you remember.
Are you kidding me? Prince of Persia was Assassin's Creed of its day, almost everyone played it back then.
>i loved this game so much
youtube.com
But no one remebers nowadays.
the OST still echoes in my mind
>remembers*
This fucking game
I'M GONNA HIT YOU
SONIC'S PEE
Never seen this game even mentioned before, it had such a good concept that hasn't even been attempted since, I miss it.
There's threads regularly. I love PoP, but I'm not sure what modern ubi soft would do with it.
My dude. I played all 4.
Never played Riddle Transfer though. I stopped playing Flash games by that point.
nobody.
nobody, nobody.
Lol there's a general for it and hopefully Arc System will soon announce a new one.
Theres no way ubi will bring our prince back. Shit's Creed are all PoP rip-offs, particularly the last ones, which the focus is much more action than stealth.
I hope someone remembers this game.
sure. Have the first one.
ex Shiny devs, it was pretty well known, shame the studio only made 2 noteworthy games before resorting to shovelware
I still have the disc around somewhere, was pretty good from what i remember
All I remember was its slow as shit combat and atrocious random encounter rate to pad its length.
This game wasnt so bad.
Still $30 on Steam for some reason.
everyone remembers this. It's brought up in practically every PS1 thread
I turned off encounters and every few hours turned them back on for grinding a few levels, then turn off again. Pacing was suddenly good.
Used to play this and loaded. Forgot who I would pick. Probably the clown.
I mean, if it's genuinely good, why not?
I remember it. I just never got around to playing Fighters History
Didnt this get a Greatest Hits re-release?
Does anyone remember a somewhat janky 3d bikers game, ps2 era? It may have been based on some show. It also featured a black bike with a spiderweb design on its fuel tank.
this game was a fucking blast
*a silver spiderweb ornament, I guess is how it's called
and I played it on a pc.
My dude. I replayed the second one just a month ago. The creature is way more useless than I remember it being.
>no one gave this game a chance
youtube.com
youtube.com
I played the first level on a disc that was scratched to shit. The music would cut out and the game would freeze at a certain point. Shit was pretty good though as I recall.
It was great. Pretty much just street fighter 2. Data East got sued by capcom because they thought it was too similar.
directors cut is shit
yep
sneed
One of the best racing game I played in my life.
>tfw it doesn't have all the levels, but the ps2/Wii versions didn't have the 100%/hub world unlocks
It triggers my OCD
Twisted Metal ripoff garbage.
yep but good one
I played the shit outta the demo of this. Never got the full game though.
I remember this.
Laura... Laura... Laura...
My first smashlike
I remember seeing this in the arcades.
Hey cool, I still have my Dreamcast copy.
i feel like this series is pretty well remembered, although 2 was pretty shitty
Everything on the Atari.
me and my friend would become high off pot cigarettes and play this for hours when we were in college. Fun game. Super unbalanced.
I played the shit out of this, pretty cool game.
>pot cigarettes
I 'member.
dad found this at a garage sale back in 06', played the shit out of it but couldn't make it past one of the bosses cause he was hard was fuck. eventually the disc got scratched and I never finished it, don't remember if you were playing the bad guys in this but you did a lot of shady shit IIRC.
Saw it once at a friends house decades ago, managed to track it down recently. Great game.
Too bad this one aged like shit
my negro
I never see Yea Forums talking about this one
The fallen lords is pretty nice.
CASUALTY
I actually have the box, bought it back then but the controls are so fucked that I never played it much. I tried to get it to work recently but it seems very hard to get running on modern systems.
Played this a lot as a kid. Mostly skirmish and against friends though
I've played this a bit, what does the cheatcode do?
Underrated game, though the balance is a bit weird and it kind of falls apart near the end.
This will get new anime sequel/remake
I played the demo from a game magazine CD.
I prefer the first, it's more atmospheric
I remember Scrapland because somehow it got the cover story in the local PC gaming magazine I was reading while having the reviews of Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines and Half-Life 2 in the same issue.
no one on Yea Forums will remember this
Watch my nerd cred, bought all at release
I remember my copy of Tomb Raider had playable demos of fighting force and tomb raider 3. I enjoyed the demo more then tomb raider itself.
Just last night I was explaining to my roommate how fucking crazy Kenji Eno was.
>Invites a musician he's a fan of to his hotel room to talk shop
>Spends six hours trying to convince him to work on his game, Enemy Zero
>Dosen't let him leave
>Eventually musicain gives up and agrees to work with him, and to just let him go back to his room.
>No contract, not directions, just a word of promise and exhaustion
Eno was a fucking madman.
youtu.be
Turned out pretty damn good. Donno how it fits the game though.
Used to play that with my buddies all the fucking time in High School, and then when University came we had Sins of a Solar Empire. that was a godly game
Still have my retail copy.
Again, after about a couple months of posting this only one user knows about this game.
Forgot pic
Silent hill mobile
This java shit was my silent hill when I was a little brat.
You just reminded me of this game I have on my old ipad. I don't even think you can download it anymore AAHHH
Neverhood is pretty much popular on Yea Forums, Amikrog on the other hand...
Is that a point and click SH ?....
Escape was a weird maze crawler with nurses and wheelchairs. I don't know the other one.
youtube.com
Completely forgot about it. I played hours of it on DC
One of the two good film-based games
The other one being Jurassic Park: Trespasser?
Almost
Now, I wasn't aware there was a sequel
It was good, but didn't get much of the spotlight
Never played this but I was unlucky enough to have bought a copy of D back in the day. What a fucking awful game.
>boss of the level is a satanic sanic the hedgehog
I swear to god this game is never mentioned anywhere, but it was fucking great.
Scrolling shooter with a third axis, and it somehow worked great despite the limitations of the NES, even with some slowdown from time to time.
only you, you say?
Came to post this.
Since it's been posted, here's mine.
wish I could emulate this gem, with removed bars
many "remember" threads open right now. How odd
If you let Patamon get his ultimate evolution, it's game over.
oh shit nigga i played the fuck out of this when i was a kid
Based.
Syndicate is such a kino game
Team Buddies
Incoming is why Breakbeat and DnB are my favorite music genres. Too bad the sequel was trash.
The only WARP game i've played is TRIP'D, and it's a pretty fun puzzle game with a good soundtrack. Also, it fits the theme of the thread.
Bonk is cursed to the dead mascot graveyard. Nobody remembers Bonk.
Super Bonk is good as hell though.
Speaking of the TG16
Remember how awkward it played with the static camera and the tank controls?
The cheat puts the camera behind your character and rotates with him, making him MUCH easier to control and the game a lot more like a normal third person shooter from that time.
Loved the demo as a kid
It's on GOG and needs Dgvoodoo2 to work
forgot to set it to 4:3
I really liked the 2nd one but goddamn was that one hard.
therockcock
better than worms 3d
Crime killer for ps1
It was fucking impossible too
I used to play this at my grandma's house, weird but comfy game
This game is not forgotten idiot
based
One of the best games on the GBA.
youtube.com
that game was weird
my nigga
Syndicate was a pretty big deal.
Bonk 2 the best.
I used to play the fuck out of this ages ago, I still emulate it time to time even though it feels like molasses
I played the demo of that endlessly, same with Giants: Citizen Kabuto. The gameplay was awesome, but the setting was just a but shit.
My first fps and non-racing pc game.
Playing using arrows instead wsad, non stop god mode because game was too hard.
Everyone who bought a graphics card around that time played it.
I remember it the most for its soundtrack.
Used to listen more to its redbook audio than play it.
Speaking of soundtracks.
youtube.com
This game has really amazing explosions.
Also this
this game had no right to be so good
I found a copy cheap at a local game store. I beat it a couple of years ago and it was hella fun.
I have to agree. Bonk 3 was a step backwards in terms of design, as least the hucard version was. I can't speak for the turbo CD version.
My nigga. Had both PC and PS1 versions.
>YOOOOOooooOOO
IV the best.
anyone worth a damn played this game and loved it what rock have u been under
Episode 2 never ever
wasn't particularly great, but I appreciated the missions revolving around pursuits. Was a fresh spin on the mech genre.
what a gem this game was. Creative weapons, funny, didn't take itself too seriously.
i cant belive they fucked this
fuck yes butcher bay, AODA was pretty fucking good too
The musics in my head
youtube.com
never heard of anyone talk of this game outside of my own head.
this game was actually the shit. Had a buddy with a copy. great weapon based 3d fighting.
>Games that only you remember.
Half my Saturn library
Guardian heroes is mediocre at best and way overhyped.
