No. Spy deserves an option to allow to be a solid flank and throw off the enemy. His whole idea is to confuse and disrupt the enemy. As a "pick" class he is straight garbage, outclassed by the Sniper.
Even the most basic of proper comms completely annihilate the Spy.
The ambassador allows Spy to play flank with Scout to provide a strong mid range damage output. It also doubles in confusing the enemy into guessing if he is currently suicide diving or at flank.
The ambassador also allows Spy to engage in an otherwise 100% suicide guarenteed fight instead of waiting around picking off an afk scout.

Of course, all of my arguements dont matter in a pub context because you can use anything and stomp. And it's funny considering the only retards who complained about the Ambassador were Pub shitters

Give him a razorback/cozy camper style shield in place of a secondary that can slowly heal him over time and block a backstab, but if he is gaining health from dispensers/medics it is automatically disabled, this is to prevent heavies from taking massive amounts of damage with a disp+shield+medic

Give him a minigun that has less spread, more shots, but far less damage to compensate its primary target would be giving him something to use against snipers and scouts better

A railgun-style gun that functions similarly to the cow mangler/dragon's fury that shoots out a projectile that does decent damage and has decent range/width. it can be used to temporarily disable machines

buff dalokahs and change the sandvich to be full health kit to compensate for banana being a straight upgrade

Not to mention that if they toe an invisible line you go from two shooting a soldier to three shooting, something the revolver already can do on a much easier target. Let him be a solid defense against grenades and rockets by letting his minigun shred non-bullet or energy projectiles. This completely changes the balance of the game and provides a legit counter to sticky and rocket spam. It also gives heavy a true role in the game that the competitive scene can utilize properly as true area denial.

This would not only make spam become less of a viable means of offense, but also require demos and soldiers to think and use their sticky and rocket jump to flank heavies rather than just fire at them till they die. It provides better gameplay for both the heavy and the soldier and demo. This also makes heavies less of an easy target and more of an important one, as taking out a heavy opens choke points that would otherwise be difficult to spam into.

I'd also make it so that he is the only class that can survive a fully charged headshot because of his thick russian skull. He would be at low HP after one, but if he is at full health this gives the heavy just a few moments to find cover and try to heal. This provides the Sniper with a target that is large, but a little harder to kill, and gives the heavy a chance to react. Due to their speed though, the sniper still has a good chance of finishing them off before they can escape. It provides gameplay options for both sides.

Spies can still one shot heavies though with a backstab. It's hard enough for a spy to get behind enemy lines, and having him be the one quick counter to heavies would make him someone to watch out for and more key to a team's victory. Again, provides positive gameplay updates that makes the spy a more viable class choice for taking down a heavy compared to a sniper. It also gives the heavy someone to watch out for, as now he not only has to try to target incoming projectiles to destroy them, but also watch his back to make sure a spy does not carve his back up.

How do you balance the projectile deflection on Payload servers though? The Heavy could literally just sit on the cart with infinite ammo (as most often do) and completely nullify everything Demos/Sollies throw at him

The key here is that heavies still require aim and skill to block incoming projectiles. So in some circumstances, the best choice would be flanking him. Attacking a heavy head-on should never be considered a viable strategy, so this is where demos and soldiers would need to use their jumps to out maneuver a heavy and fire at him from different angles.

And yeah, headshot resistance is a must for heavies. They should be able to survive at least one fully charged headshot when at full health so that the slow moving heavy at least has a chance to react. This would help heavies bypass snipers when they get to the front lines and find some cover. It makes sense for snipers to be able to one shot all the more mobile classes since it takes skill to aim at them, but heavies should be allowed to tank a shot or two since their beefiness is meant to be their defining quality beyond the minigun. How this hasn't been done already is beyond me.

Let worse players respawn faster because they are not accomplishing anything anyway, while a player with a huge winning streak going down for 30 seconds would actually be a huge loss and a big opportunity to push for the team that managed to kill that sniper with 10+ kills.

Plus if a player has been alive for a good five to ten minutes without a death, I doubt they would be nearly as frustrated with the 22 second respawn time as a player who keeps getting spawn camped

Respawns are in waves, with the timer constantly ticking down in the background, so depending on when you die you might get put anywhere from a wave that's halfway to respawning to a wave that's just started counting down.
Your performance doesn't affect respawns at all.

Should I reset my stats? I used to abuse strange servers and I abused an achievement hack when I first started playing, and I reset my hours and did it again the middle of my time played. I'm about 1000 off what I should have plus all my achievements were cheated. My scores are all in the thousands because of the strange servers, and I want to do them legit.

If you reset your stats every currently progressing achievement gets reset to zero, so all those "win 137 matches on x map" or "kill a million bots in mvm" just poof away, even if you're 1 away from completion.

Well, I don't think landing 390 headshots instead of 450 would ruin that idea. The only thing that changes now is that the heavy has to be hit by a single rocket, pipe or meatshot to die, which would reinforce the teamwork aspect of the game. Beyond that it'd be less frustrating to fight snipers in wide open maps, and make spy feel less like dead weight. You could also just shoot the medic first after charging for a split second.

Would shift some healing responsibility from med to engi. Yeah you have normal dispenser, but if you see a guy hurt, you won't help because he'd be to spawn and back before you got it up.

costs 100 metal, grants a 5 second speed boost to whoever runs over it, has the same cooldown as tele
