Very few people buy a PC to play exclusives they buy it for the experience of owning an open platform which can play 95% of all games ever made either through emulation or native at a resolution and framerate they prefer and with any input method they prefer whether controller or kb+m. People buy these underpowered consoles solely because the game library makes up for the shit hardware but once you lose the games what reason is there to buy it? The worst bit is they're giving these games away to Windows which is the platform of their biggest rival.

Obviously if you're a literal poorfag then you might only be able to afford a shitty console but that's not the argument here. Not sure if they'll support unlocked framerate and all that but at least we can (potentially) play xbox games on our PC. With how the next gen is planning out, there won't be any reason to own a ps4 at all based on the price of entry to these other platforms. The switch and xbox look to be getting amazing games in the next few years and the upcoming cheap switch is apparently going to be $199 and for xbox games i can just upgrade my PC. It will get to the point where I have so many other games to play and cheaper ways to access them that I won't be incentivised to buy a ps5 unless they have a halo 3 tier game which completely takes the whole industry by storm and will justify me buying a closed console for $400+.
