Vrchat
VRChat or maybe games with dedicated servers and a decently sized player base.
Don't even bother with matchmaking-based games
buy into the VR meme lolololololol
wait till steam comes up with its new meme headset that feels like headlice LOLOLOLOL
Games are not good for making friends, i know this from experience. It's awesome to play games with your friends though.
VRchat will trick you into thinking you're social but what you're actually doing is interacting with fellow autists and picking up bad habits that only help you talk to them, not the average normal person out there.
go to university and actually try
I dont know what i want to do at uni and i havent graduated highschool.
I was thinking about art, but i only started drawing/drawfagging 2years ago and have no portfolio
>go to university
My fucking sides.
He'd just spaghetti for years, then come out an alienated doomer spending the rest of his days on /pol/ complaining about SJW indoctrination.
>play vrchat since over a year
>had to make up a gimmick that make people interested in me
>just feel like a hack doing so because i start to hate what i've become
>slowly fading back to regular life, playing less and less vrchat
unless you are a natural social guy, you won't make it in this game sadly.
having social goal in VRC was a grave mistake
>i want to be social and meet people
>please tell me how i can remedy this without leaving my room or actually meeting people
user if you're this stupid maybe you don't deserve friends
Go to a social event. Join a local club. Literally meet people.
>leaving my room or actually meeting people
I live in a rural town, with 2000 people. Everyone is either over 40 years or under 15 years old, there's no one to meet.

Anybody want to be friends?
almost reminds me of a certain site
I mean, i'd still recommend it over Yea Forums.
VRchat will keep you autistic but Yea Forums will ctively rot your brain and permanently turn you into such a reject that you'll never fit back into society ever again.
Yea Forums can actively stunt your social and emotional growth to the point that some people here turn legit schizoid.
VRchat won't do that, at least.
MMOs.
Disregard any other answer.
wait for classic wow
We're home...
FFXIV or private WoW servers until Classic comes out
also CSGO if you don't have thin skin and you're in EU
How do you make friends in mmos?
youll probably have most luck in a Yea Forums guild
just running dungeons and doing shit with them, you will bond over time
Just join a random Discord and go on voice. Games are redundant for meeting people.
Why don't you find friends in your highschool?
No, i'm not in highschool anymore. i'm 20.
better than not trying at all
you can probably meet other racist people on comedy knight
also smash bros if you have weekly tournaments near you
*comedy night
fucking hell my brain
If you join a big guild and you're active and participate in what the guild does you will inevitably make friends. Just have to be dependable. Nobody wants dead weight.
Maybe if this was 14 years ago. MMO's is one of the most anti-social mediums going unless you either know people already outside of the MMO and play with them or are willing to devote all of your time and energy into the game to join a raiders guild and even then most of your social interaction will be about the game itself than anything else. Well, that or you do what this user says
But we aware that Yea Forums MMO guilds are some of the most toxic environments filled with attention whores, socially inept trannies and mentally ill freaks who fall in love with the first person who ERPs with them and inevitably leads to drama.
In classic wow you just need to talk with the people you're questing and dungeoning with
it comes naturally
I've been playing a couple of MMOs on and of since EVE came out back in 2003 and I've made plenty of friends. Now its true that most of the social interaction you will have will revolve around the game but that comes with the territory and is not unexpected. But depending on how you look at things this can be either a good or bad thing, imo it is a good thing because I play games to escape reality and I'm pretty sure everybody else does too. If you see this as a detriment maybe gamins isn't for you.
