There's a lot of shit the tutorial doesn't tell you tho, especially with the existence of save stations and the fact that the save button doesn't exist while outside of dialogue makes it confusing to think the option actually exists.

The tutorials are not great in my opinion and barely explain mechanics, like how to learn skills or what knockback can actually do, to say nothing of having to figure out Arata's Genre Hacks.

Sure you can figure out all this stuff from what they give you, but it's vague enough that it's understandable how somebody can miss it. I think so at least.

Both are niche and decent dungeon crawlers. I'd take LoR2, mostly because I love everything Disgaea related.

I think the issue was that the map designs weren't fun and there was no real point in exploring the whole place. The ideas were good, but the design just wasn't there. I did like how horrors chased you, since that was always something that would freak me out and it did feel exciting.

Well the limited editions usually cost me about 8000~10000 yen anyway, so I'd consider them quite competitive.

However the difference is on average eroge only sells a couple of thousand (looking at 2016 data). You've gotta keep product cost pretty low to sustain this.
