>That's....my boy
SEKINO
That's....my boy
First Fromsoft game where I skipped all the dialogue.
?
You've been reading the shitty dialogue all these years.
Owl was badly written though. He came out of literally nowhere. He sounds indifferent and happy to kill you one moment than crying the next.
Have we reached peak kino?
>being this much of a retard
He pretends to cry and beg for mercy just to get an opening.
He's a fucking scoundrel who stacks everything he can so he could win including finding a hard counter for Sekiro's gourd.
He also uses Ministry invasion to sneak and and snatch Kuro.
Well this is the first Fromsoft game to actually have dialogue, so....
Basedkuso.
he says migoto quite literary meaning well done
why the fuck is this game so badly translated?
Is the game good?
What's the deal with Owl? Doesn't he also work for Kuro like Wolf?
JUST GIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT GUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUD
>times when the bad translation makes for better dialogue than the original
No
Isshin Ashina Super Sayan God is peak kino
Best game of at least a fucking deacade.
It's actually a game, there are no gear grinds, no nothing grinds, you can beat it right off the bat. Tons of ways to approach shit. My favorite game since when RTS were being released.
It has some stupid ass tutorials now and then and I hate how any item I pick shows up their description. But other than that 10/10
Hows replayability? I enjoyed the multi in souls, so I was worried singleplayer would leave something to be desired. Is there a reason, or variety, upon beating it? NG+?
The NG+ with both the increased difficulty items is where the game actually begins
No, he seems to be more of a traditional ‘First man’ from actual ninja history. He runs a ninja clan, trains and raises ninjas, then assigns them to a lord that purchases his services. That’s doubly so why his particular ‘Iron Code’ has the special little caveat of ‘above all else though, I’m the real boss’
When Ashina was doing really well for itself they probably asked for a ninja to guard the divine heir, and even then Owl’s gears may have been turning to specifically assign his adopted son since it would give him the best odds at a shot of immortality down the line.
There is a NG+ system and the option right off the bat to select a hard mode on it, in which you take chip damage on block unless you properly deflect. If you go for everything in one playthrough, it will take you about 30-40 hours if you get the combat, more if you struggle. Personally I never replay these games much, and don’t see a desire to replay until DLC, but I do think it’s one of the best games of the past few years regardless. It’s a really focused down experience, so that does mean that it loses replay value, but that initial playthrough is amazing.
Thats what I was worried about, I have no doubt I'll enjoy the playthrough, but I got hundreds of hours in each souls due to pvp/coop.
>thinks the SS means super sand
wouldnt that make it a good translation?
i think only autists care about whats "literally" being said
owl was praising the person hed trained to be a killer from childhood in a no holds barred fight to the death
he was proud he'd been surpassed in that moment even if it meant his own death
The first and second Owl fight were the hardest fight for me in the game. Even more then Sword Saint. I always end up playing super defensive with him cause his fireworks bullshit.
