Bloodlines thread. What do you want to see expanded on the most? I want to see more interaction with other WoD properties.
Bloodlines thread. What do you want to see expanded on the most...
It'd be nice if there was more interaction with your clan, and more stuff of how people of your clan treat you compared to other clans, and how people respond to different clans.
>What do you want to see expanded on the most?
My dick when your mother sucks it, you retarded Paradox shill.
Agreed. Tremere in bloodlines felt pretty nice since you got a bit more dialogue with Strauss and a new safe haven.
I'd like to see a lot more stuff with hunters too.
different havens for each clan would be pretty nice
The faction system. They've said there are multiple factions you can align with which will change the story, and you can blacklist yourself from these factions through your actions. They compared this to the first game where it's a linear, straight line in which you can technically piss off certain factions and eliminate them as an ending choice but otherwise it's purely linear and all choices are cosmetic until the end choice.
Could be a system like New Vegas where your faction choice influences the main story a lot.
I want to play an early dark ages game as a vamp
then a renaissance game as their childe
and then a modern nights game as their childe
would be pretty neat
Varied dialogue and events for clans mostly. More Malk stuff especially.
I was perfectly fine with the gameplay of the first game, so I guess I'd be happy with any improvement on that.
I think vampires should be the main focus, but including more supernatural stuff would be amazing.
I just want a good fun bloodlines game. Is that so much to ask for?
:(
>VtMB with SSAO and other ENB effects
I didn't know I needed this. Too bad I can't post cool screenshots because "Uploading files from your IP range has been blocked due to abuse.". Fuck you, who ever you are that screwed the rest of us.
There is literally a VtM game where you start around the Crusades and then end uo in modern times. How the fuck did you miss that?
Holy shit same thing happened to me, where are you from?
Finland.
A game willing to try as many new things as the first or Deus Ex or something. I'm tired of variations on the same few gameplay tropes we've seen for a decade or more. I don't doubt the writing, don't care about SJW shit, and expect mediocre combat but there are hundreds of things that can make it a fresh game.
yeah but the point is playing as your childe and then grandchilde. Meant this in a tabletop context
Vampire the Masquerade: Torment
I bet this is a plot from the gook to make us buy his fucking pass
Since you mentioned Tremere, I wonder if you, the PC, will be forced to drink from a senior Tremere's blood if you join them, forcing you to do what they say.
That's a thing in the lore from what I remember, at least.
I was thinking that too. Fuck this place, I'm outta here.
See you tomorrow
Drink three times and you'll never be able to directly hurt your superior.
>What do you want to see expanded on the most?
rpg mechanics
but it's confirmed they'd actually casualize/cut them down so
eh
It's not clear yet. Journo claims no weapon skills, one of the lead devs says there is a Firearms skill in the game. Dev's fault for using worthless journo middlemen to market their game instead of addressing their fans directly.
If only, though I doubt modern writers are even capable of pulling such a thing off.
Didn't the Sabbat murder and diablerize their elders?
From V20 Lore of the Clans:
"So the Tremere developed a few rituals to create a
lesser form of blood bond, one that makes the Clan
itself, rather than an individual the object of dedication.
Upon Embrace, each new Tremere must drink from a cup
containing a mixture of blood from the seven elders. In
fact, this blood need only come from seven elder Tremere
— the Council of Seven are rather wary of handing their
blood out to every blood mage in the world. The head of
each chantry knows the ritual that transubstantiates the
blood mixture into “the spirit of the Clan,” and every
neonate feels special drinking from the mighty Council
of Seven. The ritual does more than bind a neonate’s
loyalty, however; it acts as a powerful reminder that the
lowest member of the Clan has a part of the ruling council
inside them, and so the mystery is maintained."
This is what I was thinking of. On the other hand, "Embraced without the cup" is a 1 point merit a few pages later, so, who knows?
I don't know how it is in v5 exactly but in beckett's jyhad diary he documented about how a bunch of tremere fucked off to the west to go anarch and have their own wizard shit with blackjack and hookers, but I think they wind up hooking up with the anarchs? seattle was a camerilla city last I checked.
I think teh original plan for vtmb1 was basically just a different haven for each clan and lots of unique dialogue but like so many things it wound up on the cutting board when the going got tough.
only the tremere and nos haven made it in for example.
I want to see a non-WoD urban fantasy game made by different devs tbqh.
We already had a modern Torment with the writer of original Torment onboard. It sucked.
I was so disappointed in Torment Numenera. It was a trainwreck start to finish.
>Mass Embrace
So you start as a Sabbat shovelhead and try to make your way out as the place gets bombarded by other factions?
Apparently it was an act of terrorism, so I was thinking some vampire wanted to reveal the truth to the world or some stupid shit? Probably something like what you're saying though
not exactly a galaxybrain idea from that vampire then considering the second inquisition.
Well terrorists are not exactly known for having big brains.
I heard you no longer apply points to yours stats in the upcoming game, is that true?
