Since when?
it didnt lol its just been 3 years
We're talking about a game that at one point was declared the best game ever made, and yet no one today still talks about it
Because it fucking sucks
It's a static single player RPG that is three and a half years old?
its fanbase
I like the soundtrack but the rest of the game is quite mediocre
i'm sry what?
Uh, this is a static single player game that has retained its popularity. What's your point?
not really, most people today agree that zelda sucks dick
you've got a weird definition of "most" user
autistic furries
That's also a AAA title released by what is arguably the largest gaming corporation of all time and part of a long running series? Also, a huge piece of gaming history, considering its position in the transition of 2D to 3D.
This is not apples to oranges, this is a single apple to an entire orange orchard.
Also, OoT's popularity has enormously waned with the passage of time. You have no fucking conception of just how popular it was back when the N64 was in its swing. It's a matter of scale, and Breath of the Wild has stolen plenty of Zelda's spotlight in the modern day.
I don't see anybody discussing Ocarina of Time on Yea Forums. There's still a very active general of Undertale/Deltarune on /vg/ though.
Pretty much this I like the game but it's more of a "story" than a "game". It has first game syndrome written all over it and it's incredibly obvious now that Deltarune actually feels like a real RPG.
>Thread on /vg/
Sixty six autistic shitposters sharing Undertale porn is not 'discussion.'
Single player games are ABSOLUTELY still talked about on forums years after release. The fact that Undertale is not says a lot about it.
Ah yes, I remember when that referendum was held. I can't believe it has been overturned!
>There's still a very active general of Undertale/Deltarune on /vg/ though.
And none of its about the actual game.
>nobody is taking about the game!
>but these guys are
>THAT DOESN'T COUNT
It's a shitty game only liked by retarded casuals and resetera trannies.
Literally more than what Ocarina of Time gets.
Do you ANY kind of evidence that compares how much Undertale and OoT are talked about? Any at all.
>Single player games are ABSOLUTELY still talked about on forums years after release. The fact that Undertale is not says a lot about it.
Undertale is still discussed plenty even here, though. So now you're just in denial, I guess. It's really not completely silent.

And plenty more games fade from the limelight, especially those not related to big names. Comparing it to a Nintendo release is simply absurd, and I can't believe you fail to realize that.
Let's compare it to something much more fair, another static single player Nintendo RPG. How many people do you think are discussing Golden Sun? Not a whole lot.
>Sixty six autistic shitposters sharing Undertale porn is not 'discussion.'
So how many autistic shitposters are necessary to have discussion?
Are you just here to downplay and deny everything for the sake of pushing your narrative?
Okay.
Cuphead was a better game.
Because it's a short game and everyone has discussed the fuck out of it, plus people are just waiting for the full release of Deltarune
I don't think it lost any popularity, it's just old news at this point. There might have been some overhype which has died down with time but anyone I spoke with that had an opinion that the game was good still seems to think so now.
Deltarune's demo is better than Undertale.
You're entitled to your opinion, and you may go make as many Cuphead threads as you please.
It's a single player game with no more content, it's only natural that discussion ends.
We created /vg/ for retards like you that are so autistic and lonely they need to cling to a SP game forever.
One thing the Deltarune Demo has proven to me though is that plenty of people like and and when the full game releases conversations on Yea Forums will flare up again.
As with any piece of fiction that's several years old and wasn't very long in the first place, discussion on the actual game ends and you decide yourself if you want to delve into over-discussion, fan theories, and fanfics. I don't, I took the game for what it was and I just discuss what might be going into Deltarune now.
I agree. I'd never enter a standard Undertale on Yea Forums right now because it'd be guaranteed to be full of contrarians and shitposters who just want to shit up the thread because they can. Undertale's first week after release had a fun of fantastic threads filled with good discussion and OC, and then other people who didn't care about the game got upset with this and started shitposting, and meanwhile others had their fill of the discussion and left leaving a high ratio of crazy tumblr-esque fans to make bad posts. Eventually the threads all died down I mean they were banished to /vg/ by mods for a short time too but that's neither here nor there.
Then Deltarune happens, everyone who liked Undertale has a reason to talk about it and the new game, and we get another week of completely fantastic threads until the cycle repeated itself.
I'm looking super forward to Deltarune's full release, as far off as it might be. I want another wave of fantastic threads like that. In the meantime I'll just check for fanart every once in a while or browse tumblr and deviantart for terrible AU posts to laugh at and that'll be the extent of my Deltarune discussion.
