is this game actually good? From what I've seen you gotta look up and report illegal shit online or something

The game is the sleeper indie GOAT. You play janitor and investigate haxx0rs while listening to good jams.

It really tickles your nostalgia if you browsed the internet/AOL/geocities during the late 90's/early 2000's. Everything feels authentic, especially the sound design. It's a really short game and not particularly challenging, but it's packed with content and little details and easter eggs to keep you busy. I can't stress enough how good the sound design and the music are.

Please don't pirate it.
I tried a little bit and was sold on it right away, easily worth the price
It's literally weaponized nostalgia

Pizza! Pizza! P-p-p-p-pizza!

pizza dance is top new fad 1999

Who is your favorite Hypnospace artist and why is it Fre3zer?

It's comfy as hell, and good nostalgia trip.

fre3zer is a douchebag
i'm more of a chowder head

Just finished it yesterday
Ending kinda brought down the whole thing for me tbqh. Uncovering the Merchants was fun and all but felt like they could have done so much more with Tim being a member of the team and Dylan joining up. He also gave up like a little bitch but I can buy the idea that he just sort of gave up after a lot of years, guy struck me as kind of a manchild from all the stuff about him. The twist with the final Outlaw being his own autistic way of saying sorry was cute, was expecting him to try and fry my brain again. Everything else was gr8 though, wish there was more of Zane and his antics.

Also reminder to protect yourself from BEEFBRAIN Yea Forums

Dev said he'll continue releasing content if people want it, so probably more cases in the future. The thing comes with a page maker and even an audio sequencer, so it has tons of potential for growth.

Found it when I saw ManlyBadass make a video about it. Only saw his first video, was all I needed tp be sold on it.

Great game. A bit short, but didn't overstay its welcome.

A man of culture

Wish it was longer, and there was more enforcer stuff to do. The archival stuff was all right but again I wish there was more of it.
Seems like it's the kind of game that'd benefit from user-created episodes/stories and shit since you can make your own sites.

What's the name of the song that plays during the final Outlaw scene? Can't get it out of my head.

Only youtuber I can stand watching for long periods of time.

I was disappointed to learn you never go to visit the 3D world in the promo videos :(

Well, you wouldn't have had fully 3D rendered chatrooms ala second life back in 1999.

that's the power of hypnospace!!!! I guess that's one part of old internet I didn't experience, being lied to by marketing material, lol

if you like this game you should try Crypt Worlds btw, free first person exploring game where you interact with weirdos.

Sounds like a completely different kind of game.

oh for sure, but the fmv of the 3D world looked ugly but goofy which reminded me of crpyt worlds. the humor isn't super similar but I thought it was fun and it aesthetically feels like it was made in the late 90s by amateurs. pretty fun.
i dunno, if you want like hypnospace then crypt worlds isn't a terrible game to try out.

CHILL IT RIGHT
