I always loved how before you triggered the Dark Falz encounter you could hear the machine playing the music in the area being manually looped and the cracking of the somewhat broken speakers, giving away that the pre-fight area was fake.

Back in the early 80's, it was pretty common for the PC and the console to be the same device. You just power the thing up with a cart in the back. That went away, but every now and then it seems like some company is kinda wishing that everyone will briefly lose their mind and adopt their console as if it were the regular home PC. Maybe the idea isn't even all that crazy, and it only seems crazy to me because I'm just more attached to the idea of them being distinct.

PSO for the Dreamcast included the demo for one of the Sonic Adventure games (2 I think?) and a lot of people purchased the game just for that demo disc.

I need to translate this sometime. There's like 8 pages of this in the end of the artbook I have, there's a lot of lore surprisingly.
