I don't think it's actually possible to enjoy it, it's so fucking terrible. Even the boss at the end is hot garbage.

The deer were stupid and the boss was terrible but I kind of liked how open and empty the map was. Not such a common thing in the series.

Yeah, I bought the full set from Rito village so it wasn't bad. I also farmed the shit out of Faron so I always had plus three attack meals

I don't even think the developers tested it, they just added it for the difficulty meme.
