real life jet fighter flying is boring as fucking sin, the USAF hasn't had an air to air kill in 15 years, there was ONE chopper kill by a jet at the outset of the Iraq War and THAT'S IT
dogfighting is literally nonexistent because all modern missiles have BVR (beyond visual range) targeting capability, you can shoot someone down from fucking MILES away

Doing a high g turn should damage your aircraft so you can't just spam it every time you want to turn.

It's definitely a 7.5/10 as a whole series on a properly calibrated scale where 7.5 is a high score, not the lowest possible one. Assault Horizon exists, Infinity exists, 1 and 2 are ~meh and 3 is only available with a fan translation.
