Disagreed. When someone works hard to achieve a rare skin or item, it feels well deserved. When you roll a lootbox even without paying real life money and earn the same skin for doing absolutely nothing, kills the drive to want to continue playing the game. The element of success is gone and ruins the hype of wanting to actually unlock the item through hard work and gitting gud. Lazy shitters that don't want to play the game the way it was intended love lootboxes because they don't have to try nearly as hard for the same achievements as someone who is dedicated to actually playing the game.

Again, this issue in particular seems to be that the devlopers are greedy, and have locked vital game content behind a lootbox system. This is not a fault of lootboxes in general, and instead is a fault of the developers being faggots.
