I lucid dream too, the feeling of being piss drunk in VR is surprisingly close, limited more based on what you know how to do with game engines but you can get some crazy shit going and unlike lucid dreaming theres no chance of it going so bad it fucks up your sleep for weeks

Why not make a VR engine that stimulates sleeping/lucid dreaming via color and shapes and so forth?

I've never had that happen, what I want happens, but one time, it shifted, I lost actual control, and instead of being a god suddenly I was just there, and powerless, and what happened after was one of the worst experiences I've had in life you can practice, you'll get better with time, just hope you don't get what I did because then you're just in a lucid dream where you don't have control, and you better hope your mind doesn't turn on you

because you can actually feel things in lucid dreams vividly. If you get eaten by a giant ant monster you'll wake up sore where it bit you for hours, at least in my experience as an example. Every time i have sleep paralysis i get eaten/stabbed/punched or hurt in some way until i shake myself awake and then half asleep i go "that was kind of cool and fun" and go back to sleep and internally yell while it happens again. I don't know why.
