Has the best bosses in the series

>Has the best bosses in the series
>Has the worst bosses in the series
This is the consensus right?
Also the final boss is retarded, imagine having to kill Genichiro everytime just to reach the actual final boss

What’s the best and worst boss?

Obviously by default since it's the only game in the series

It isnt retarded, after a couple of tries you start to beat Genichiro without taking damage.

why in the fuck is memory owl so much stronger than owl at the castle? memory is the hardest boss in the game but castle was mid tier
the fuck
i'v never been stuck this bad

>Has the best bosses in the series
>Has the worst bosses in the series
Well, yeah... There's only one installment in the series.

Attached: 1549569716709.jpg (1024x1000, 51K)

Sekiro > DS3 > BB > DS1 > DS2 > DeS, in terms of bosses.

sekiro have best combat but even BB have better bosses

This is the most tedious game I ever played in my life

I don't remember maybe because the memory he is still considered in his prime and at the castle he is past his prime?

Sekiro is not part of dark souls series you retard cunt faggot bitch Holocaust denier

You know, unless you ended up cheesing you way through the whole game. In that case you are fucked.

Owl in the memory was when he was younger and had more energy

He's faster, has more cheats and has a stand. Once you figure out how to deal with his firecrackers it's a wrap for him desu.

its almost same game with much better combat and no """"builds""""" your fucking retarded cunt

they are being ABSOLUTELY FUKCING RETARDED AND COMPLETELY WORTHLESS and lumping in dark souls with this game as a complete series

Genichiro is the peak of the game. Everything else just kind of feels annoying and shallow. Overall, I think it's the worst >literally souls game and the only one that I wouldn't call good since demon's souls.

What does best combat mean? That you had the most fun with hitting in this game, rather than previous fromsoft games? I did not find parrying and slashing with katana to be my fav, bloodborne was easly the most fun I had with combat.

it's a 3 year difference
there should be no difference or if anything he should be stronger at the castle
i could see if the memory was like 8 years ago or something

You are retarded

>has more cheats

games dont cheat idiot

It's the only game in it's series what are you even saying

Cringe. Dark Souls 3 is garbage.

the firecrackers aren't even the problem for me
i dunno i have maxed vit and posture and i think 12 attack
always got everyone within 5 tries but i'm stuck on wolfs scumbag dad

I agree but it's better not to ask too many questions maybe he was going easier on you in the castle for whatever reason...

How bad of a player are you to struggle with Genichiro ? He takes under 30 seconds to clear and should use 1 healing gourd at max if you made a mistake, he's a joke.

darksouls and blooodborne's ONLY RELATION to this is the fact they are made by fromsoft

>mad that its far better than any souls game

keep seething kid

>Has the best bosses in the series
Only because the combat system is vastly superior.
>Has the worst bosses in the series
I'd give that honor to DaS2. I think only Darklurker, Sir Alonne and maybe for fun gimmick's sake Burnt Ivory King in that game are good boss fights. Two of which are DLC bosses and one is a hidden optional boss. Rest are gutter trash.

Just because it was the worst dark souls game doesn't automatically make it a bad game, you floor tile. It still had relatively fun combat, a good variety of bosses, and a somewhat nice world despite it being the the force awakens of the dark souls games.

>t. zoomer

The game is good, but it's no DeS, DaS or BB.
Level design itself is actually lackluster.
Every areas lacks uniqueness to them, and I don't mean aesthetically. DeS remains king in level design, offering various different challenges throurough the archstones. Here everything seems the same and exploration is poorly rewarded

The combat mechanics are excellent and almost every boss fight is too, but input delay is a big problem. I reinstalled DaS to see if it was there all along, but nothing. The problem is with the game. I hope they patch it.
Also stealth and combat is not perfectly balanced: stealth trivializes the game while combat makes things excessively hard some times.

The story is good enough, but holy fuck did it rehash bloodborne with the blood/water thing...

The game fortunately is great overall but it disappointed me in so many ways. It's also pretty clear that activision's intrusion compromised some of the finess of the "series". Too bad I guess

literally never said anything about the games quality you fucking brainless moron

I agree bloodborne is more fun with so much weapons but still sekiro is something fresh and i like it

hell toss it up to him getting badly injured and never fulling recovering in that 3 year span
maybe i should kill the demon first and farm for some more attack points
almost got demon first try but owl idk what it is

Kek, that's actually true

It's literally a souls game minus the builds.

When will Sony let DeS and BB out of their chokehold so that normal people can play them too?

Attached: 1512747931775.png (390x330, 152K)

bloodborne is the same as dark souls though
just changed everything from souls or titanite to blood or echos
sekiro is actually really different

Same, it is refreshing, I enjoy the grapple hook and arm gadgets, too bad other things were forgettable, enjoyed armored warrior and genichiro the most.

pc fats ruin everything
but they'll do it in about 5-10 years judging by what there doing with some old ps3 exclusives
hopefully it's at least for steam

I can't do it lads, it's too difficult, I can't read the attacks properly

ok and these FUCKING WORTHLESS IDIOTS WHO SHOULD BE SET ON FIRE are still trying to say they are the same serious

I more or less agree with you, except I would also call dark souls 2 not good.

Hasn't DeS been emulate-able for a while now? I recall hearing that lobos beat it on pc.

I still can't believe FROM, the guys who make some of the most popular action games these days, still can't FUCKING MAKE THE CAMERA WORK

I'm at the Owl bossfight and literally the only times I take damage is when he's pushing me in a pillar/corner and I can't see shit and just spam parry and die

FUCK YOU FROM JUST MAKE THE PILLAR TRANSPARENT AND LEAVE THE CAMERA WHERE IT WAS YOU RETARDS

>in the series
>only one game
next you'll tell me Bloodborne is in a series too.

Attached: 1551116223741.jpg (1280x720, 227K)

You're actually retarded or blind, possibly both.

ROBERTTTTTTTTTT
its cool game to play once or two but nothing more, sad.
t.BB ng+17

Also are red eyes hyped up so much in dialogue and loading screens when it only appears like three times in the game, and one of those times is against a nightjar for some reason and another time it's against a fucking fish?

Sixth game using more or less the same formula
>camera still sucks
>grab hitboxes are still retarded
>backstabs and ripostes/deathblows still get frequently fucked up by slopes

>Dont have to design covenants
>Dont have to design multiplayer
>Don't have to design different weapons or movesets
>Don't have to design RPG progression or loot systems
>Game is still average length
>Don't have to design player messags, blood stains, ghosts or any degree of player connectivity.
>Dont even have to design a real story since you're doing the souls thing of going out of your way to leave things purposefully vauge and have players say yes or no to shit with no actual info on what that means

What the fuck man? They got all this dev time back and did literally nothing with it.

>Still trying to deny that Sekiro is a souls-like

To be fair it seems like it's the first time they've ever actually tried to make a story at all. It's a lot less retarded than souls pretending it actually has one when it really doesn't.

>grab hitboxes are still retarded
NO YOU ARE FUCKING RETARDED
ITS EASIEST MOVE TO DODGE(I MEAN JUMP) YOU FUCKING CUNT
DODGE = CIRCLE = YOU ARE FUCKED
JUMP = ANY GRAB CANT DO SHIT

>he killed the fish guy
btw yeah red eyes are really easy
like the red eyed ashina elite at the end of the game is the easiest miniboss
you break his posture in less than 4 seconds

>Has the worst bosses in the series
Not even close.
>,imagine having to kill Genichiro everytime just to reach the actual final boss
It takes like 30 seconds, man.

>jumping is the recommended action
\
think im going to like this game

Armored warrior was a big surprise since I didnt get spoiled on it and mechanically it was something that reminded me of the older more creative design.

Attached: 1534974284389.jpg (954x586, 168K)

Tell me where I said that. Do you know what an IP is? Do you know what a franchise or series is? Stop using terms incorrectly you retards.

Factually wrong though, whether you're supposed to jump or dodge a grab is like a 50/50. Just look at the ogre, if you jump the stationary grab he'll catch you, but you have to jump the diving one. Vice versa for the diving grab.

I think what he meant isn't that it's necessarily hard to avoid grabs, but the fact that the hitbox of the grab doesn't match what you actually see on screen doesn't make grab a move particularly fun to deal with in general.

They just wanted to up the scale on difficulty. It's the most difficult videogame to date, sure you can show me the old ninja gaidens but those in my opinion were not as difficult.
This game simply makes you remember everysingle move of a boss and makes you dodge them and parry them to the milisecond, you can't cheese your way through most bosses or get better gear and stats, you have to kill them using your acquired skills.
The problem is that you get to a point where you lose interest and drop the game.I never dropped the other fromsoftware games because I knew that if I farmed some more I could eventually defeat the bosses but in this game it's just incredbly retarded.

Demon of hatred is optional so i let that pass but Isshin?fuck that

A lot of it is fake difficulty and trial and error, so I wouldn't call it the hardest of the souls games

It's not hard. Once you git gud at parrying 95% of the games enemies and bosses are trivial. The only reason people are having a hard time is because they stubbornly refuse parry or think they won't be able to against big enemies.

>if you jump the stationary grab he'll catch you
who the fuck is doing that?
jump left and ogre is laughable
jump left or right or backwards and grab cant do shit
you can even jump off the enemy to cancel this
nope it works perfectly
you are to close = fuck you
easy

This, but only partly. Just don't get cornered and be aware of objects in the battle arena.
It's really only a problem in cramped spaces for me.
I don't see how they could remedy this issue if there's no more room behind the player and the bosses are HUGE.

guess i'm out of luck

Imagine being this much of an apologist for objectively broken hitboxes

what's the best combat art and tools?

I dont follow your e-celeb bull shit, millennial.

Deracine is entirely about the story and it came out just before Sekiro.
Obviously no-one played it though, because who the fuck has VR for playstation?

Name a more kino moment

Attached: Sekino screenshot.jpg (1920x1080, 180K)

It came out on PC too.

Best
>Genichiro, Round 2
>Both Owls
>Both Isshins
>Guardian Ape
Worst
>Corrupted Monk Round 2 (literally 10x easier than the illusion)
>Demon of Hatred
>Guardian Ape ft. other ape

What the hey is Deracine? Is it by Fromsoft?

the story is great brainlets

Just finished my first run, can't wait to go back

>Change my build for a new play style
Oh right..
>Change my weapon for a new play style
Oh right...
>Mess around with invasions, co-op and covenants
Oh right...
>Leave tricky messages to get people killed
Oh right...
>Do the levels in a completely different order
Oh right...
>Do a level 1 run
Oh right...

Well guess im waiting for DLC!

Attached: 1283455776866.jpg (420x431, 17K)

The story's the only thing I said was good, actual brainlet.

was it good? i wanted to play it but not pay 260 dollars to play it

I just checked your claim and found that it's a lie.

It's a VR adventure game where you're a faerie interacting with children who can't see you, trying to prove that you exist and help them somehow.

The best thing you can do against hirata owl:

1.Punish his shadowrush every time
He likes to do it as a followup after firecrackers but can also do a charging sweep. Theres a tell for which it will be but you have to look through the smoke for a light off the blade

2.When he leaps to do his big overhead, don't deflect it but step dodge to the side and get 2 free hits. He does this move a lot and it's consistent punish. In phase 2 he does this move out the vanish into his Stand attack so its especially vital to punish it there

Anything in previous fromsoft games. If you're trying to make me care for the story, you cant, garbage setting, garbage storytelling style and garbage story. Genichiro was also more intresting.

what's the hardest boss? i say owl 2

>Do a level 1 run
>Oh right...
Just don't upgrade health you fuckin' dingus

you can do the bottom 2 you retard

Its already begun, lol. I should have saved more screencaps of Yea Forums crying about the bosses taking 15-20 minutes

i have a giant fourhead
my iq is prob like 280

>owl 2
maybe It's because it was my 3rd time through the game but Owl 2 wasn't that hard. Beat him on my second go.
You just have to be aggressive. He will whoop your shit if you try to pussy out of the fight.
SS Isshin or DoH racked the most deaths for me.

Why was Owl such an enormous fucking faggot? I think he's my least favorite From character.

Oh crap, I didn't know. I'm sorry, then. My forehead is normal so I'm probably not as smart.

>fight bosses you can't get in 1 playthrough
>use different prosthetics, combat arts, ninjutsu
>fight bosses in a completely different order
>do alternate NPC questlines
>don't upgrade HP/attack power
>increase difficulty by turning in kuro's charm/bell demon
Yeah no replay value here at all lmao
>muh builds and shitty PvP
Souls fags seething

Sorry I've mistaken it with another VR game that came to Steam a little while ago

DO IT

Attached: 20190330_165018.jpg (1909x1074, 709K)

The final boss is pretty retarded, yeah. It feels more like a souls fight than anything and wasn't really designed well with the mechanics in mind. The boss just does too many long jump strikes that are ultra telegraphed and you whack him whenever hes recovering. Honestly the only thing making it difficult is the damage he does and the length of the fight. Its more on an endurance "don't make mistakes" fight than an actually engaging one.

who here /savescum/
i don't wanna lose all my sheckles and unique healing items senpais

because from wanted to make you fight him but forgot to characterize him properly before letting you do it

cringe
i have no idea what his problem is
i hate him but like his character
i wonder how wolf turned out to be so cool when he was raised by a complete scumbag piece of shit

demon of hatred isnt the final boss

Games have a habit of introducing challenges in relatively safe manageable space so you can familiarize yourself with them, only to whip out that challenge later on in harder difficulty.

>"How would you like to fight 10 minibosses three times each with literally no changes whatsoever?"

>You actually lived long enough to See Nioh- a game made on a cardboard budget surpass the soulsbornekrio games

Attached: frowning lion.jpg (298x310, 39K)

What fucking series?
This isn't Sekiro 2 or 3 or some shit.

>Levels in different order
>Level 1 run
You can actually do both of these tho.

correct
sorry for your circumstance

I don't care what you guys say.

Isshin, Sword Saint is a fucking cool boss. I'm kinda torn though that final battle with Genichiro sucks. But fucking hell Isshin was such a cool boss.

does anything happen if you just wait at that part?
Does he get back up or does he just sit there and wait for you to do it forever

qqqqqqqqqqqqqqwwwwwwwwwweertyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasssssssdddddfghzzzzxcvbn `1LKJ

why is the thumbnail different?

This game is so cool. Parrying is best thing in dark souls and here it's perfect.

**SNIIIIFFFFFFFFFFFFF**

Attached: shota.png (1920x1080, 2.7M)

Anyone else like dying during the fights so you can hear the dialogue when you come back to life? Surprising that horse riding fucker and kicking his ass was kino.

Lapis Lazuli is in Foutainhead palace only
You can buy 2 from the carp merchant and I know 1 drops from the spooky ghost warrior

the 2 apes was way easier than the single ape for some reason

So we could detect newfags easier.

Fuck off, nobody actually thinks that. Just because you want to be "le epic Yea Forums contrarian xD" doesn't mean you won't come across as an idiot. Don't ever say something like that on my board ever again.

>I'm kinda torn though that final battle with Genichiro sucks.
hes obviously meant to suck. you kicked his shit in last time and all he did was show his immortality and ollie out. its not like he grew stronger either, the dude just went to get some sword. hes meant to be pathetic to the point where he needs to get his grandpa to help beat you up.

>the spooky ghost warrior
who?

you get the hint early that he's the traitor at the estate, along with butterfly
it's his sword that backstabs wolf
and in the estate redux you find out for sure that's what happened, and his goal was always the immortal blood
he's just a mean old greedy cunt

Demon souls is shit
Dark souls is shit
Dark souls 2 is shit
Dark souls 3 is shit
Bloodborne is shit
Sekiro is shit
Any future games will be shit

The only thing Nioh has over this game is build meme. The game is inferior in every other way.

how does that detect newfags? been here for 6 years and never knew how those worked

you get some from:
Killing DoH
Completing pot noble's quests
Buy from pot noble/karp
ghost warrior under the waterfall at the palace
those are all I know of

Bait? We can only spare this one (you) so I'm sorry you went through all the trouble.

Okay so what is bite down actually for?

>and wasnt really designed with the machanics in mind
Utter bullshit, SS is the pinnacle of Sekiro combat, just because you think fighting him like souls boss was more viable to you doesnt mean it is. The modt effective way to fight him is the same as with every other humanoid boss and thats being right into his face and baiting attacks and then parrying them.

Shichimen Warrior or something like that, he's under a waterfall and surrounded by his terror balls

obviously, the very first frame of the gif is an unrelated image and since most animations play at 24 frames per second, you cant even register that frame as it plays

feign death

but theres no online and world tendency is broken.

no is shit
alpha was beter than the final game

>final boss is retarded
Why not just admit you suck at the game? The final boss is literally the best boss. Wait, you aren't actually struggling on the Genichiro part are you?

>>Has the worst bosses in the series

That would be Dark Souls 2.

>UHH DID U KNO DAT ACTUALLY ITS TEH FIRST GAME IN ITS SERIES XXDDDD

if you die by it and resurrect your next node isn't locked out

>Meet guy when I return to the starting zone
>THE MUSIC IS SO NICE BRO
>Lure guy
>Don't lure guy

What does that even mean

>Kill ching chong ping pong and save the young lord
>HELP DO THE THING
>OR STICK TO THE IRON CODE

What in the actual fuck does any of this mean

>Talking to lord later
>Give him an item
>He offers to use it to help me
>No is an option.

WHY WOULD I SAY NO TO THAT WHY THE FUCK WONT THIS GAME TELL ME ANY GOD DAMN THING BEFORE PROMPTING ME WITH A DECISION

Attached: vore.jpg (476x349, 15K)

Op is a faggot. I just beated the game a few days ago and the last fight was awesome. I managed to kill genchiro like he was nothing a gorrillion times without getting hit a single time. After 1 or 2 tries you learn his move set.

Attached: 1535165561377.png (493x639, 394K)

>Dat mikiri
This dude has hit the final stage of getting gud.

nah its you who is shit.

oh yeah forgot about him desu

Do you genuinely have autism? Asking honestly here.

>having to kill Genichiro everytime just to reach the actual final boss
you can just spam attack and dodge when he jumps up
there, you beat him in 30 seconds without taking damage

>They got all this dev time back and did literally nothing with it.
Honestly this is the only complete game they've made as far as the souls games go.
Every other game felt incomplete on some level.

*AHEM*

>WHY WOULD I SAY NO TO THAT
For the challenge

>60fps meme

What's the lore explanation for the headless pulling shit out of your ass and sticking it up his ass?

They never tell me that shit. He just gives me a note and says its work for a shinobi. He never tells me who the fuck to give the note to. Shit is dumb.

And fuck you at no point in the game has anyone mentioned any kind of fucking iron code to me that was the first I'd ever heard of it.

This happened to me too, but it was a headless that just went invisible permanently after I hit it's health down to 0 during it's phasing. Literally can't kill it at that point

Was real fucking cool since I was down to 2 confetti

either bait or an actual retard
autists are smart when it comes to games

Attached: bait sekiro.png (916x582, 940K)

Kind like Kappa sucking your soul out of your ass I guess.

tfw do stuff like that but still can't do no hit runs
no patience

They literally tell you the iron code at the start of the game.

So is Headless just a giant HP sponge or am I missing something?

He talks about "getting a strong man or a samurai" to experiment with. It even says so on the note. If you calmed your raging ADHD down a bit you'd realize that the options when talking to the melody samurai refer to you luring him into the dungeon to be experimented on by nipponese mengele.
The iron code is literally told to you in the intro and it's fucking simple. "Your father comes first. Your master, a close second."
So always obey your father's commands first and foremost. If your master's orders contradict your father's, disobey them.
You are a retard.

>Nioh launches
>Un-ending tide of cool ass webms of Wirriam doing cool shit

What happened?

maybe you shouldnt skip every cut scene and dialogue so you would know what's going on

Shitposters like you.

>imagine having to kill Genichiro everytime just to reach the actual final boss
He's really easy to beat without taking any damage so it didn't bother me. I imagine they made you have to go through him all the time because they assumed you would die a lot to Isshin. Killing Genichiro gives progress to restoring your resurrection nodes so you won't need to stop fighting him and farm them back if you're relying on those.

If you didn't spend the entire midgame fighting fuckin monkeys I think this'd be my favorite souls game.

Use Confetti.

How much fucking health does the carp have

he's immortal, user

Infinite, you can't kill it there

>zoomer can't even pay attention to the first minute of the game

Didn't do anything, maybe I wasn't close enough
that is... if confetti is firecrackers

>4 new posts
OKay you got me I skipped the opening cause its always useless filler in every souls game.

Divine Confetti. The pink thing.

Fucking hell.

Attached: dea28573-b5f0-4c2f-a2f3-aeabfba4ac80.gif (268x400, 2.99M)

Right, don't have that yet

I hated every single human boss. There was only a single boss I actually liked, which was Demon of Hatred, and even then, that played out just like a Dark Souls 2 boss. Which is to say, not very good, but still better than the absolute tedium of attack pattern rote memorization that comes with every other boss in the game.

>games don’t cheat
Wrong idiot

Damn your entire Sekiro experience must have felt like being spirited away from a Souls game into Sekiro

Sekiro is a souls game.

got him
was my 6th try i think
ii used everything was completly out of healing when i had him last phase since about 40% of his hp but i did it
was kino

Not from a gameplay standpoint. They play fundamentally different.

why does flame vent suck so much?

Manchild

Attached: shirikodama japan.png (653x251, 57K)

why did you hate the monkeys?

Attached: okay so basically im monky aot.jpg (345x456, 44K)

what's the lore explanation for owl getting killed 3 years ago but somehow coming back and attacking ashina?

It's not any more fundamentally different than BloodBorne was.

>not loving monkey genocide

Who the fuck came up with that shit? Why would your soul be inside your asshole?

man japs are fucking weird
if there was a soul-ball inside out bodies why would it be in the anus?

What's with Nip folklore and involving the ass.

My Sekiro experience was a lot of cursing. I really don't like the way parrying works. So naturally I like the boss that never requires you to parry.

Yeah it is. The entire game is heavily parry/counter based while BB isnt. Just because both have faster than Souls movement doesnt make it that similar. In BB you still fight Bosses that work like Souls Bosses.

was funny that a lot of them had guns

that's just an old myth
jews are still cutting off their foreskins because some guy thousands of years ago said it would please the man in the sky

nips are based

At least they die fast.

He pretty much got it spot on dessuu.

Time is a flat circle

huh, weird how that's normalized around america isn't it
glad I was born in a country where my parents don't mutilate me at birth

>genichiro
by the time i got to the final boss i was able to run through genichiro in 2-3 minutes without taking damage. all you have to do is learn his moves and guess what you did just that earlier in the game when he was his own boss.

Nah pic related is just salt personified

Kill DoH (2)
Do pot Noble quest (1)
Buy from fountainhead pot Noble (2)
Kill ghost fuck in fountainhead (1)
You can also get them to drop from the okami warriors in fountainhead but the droprate has to like 0.0001% or some shit even with demon Bell and the item buff, so a ng+ is required if you want to upgrade everything

I felt bad for him getting Yamcha'd at the final boss by the player.

kek
why are pcbabs so bad at action games?

Attached: pc gaymers.png (640x879, 485K)

*AHEM*

Cope

this. his combos are blockable by spamming block button. then he has this jump slash after which he does the sweep slash, where if you just jump over him and on his hit+hit him on the way down it takes out half his posture bar. then just perfect deflect his like 5 hit combo and he's done

I have 6 Lapis Lazuli and I cannot be arsed to grind the fucking wax needed for the upgrades.

Whoever came up with the prosthetics tree is a faggot.

Agreed

Also agree, this entire game has been reminding me of Dark Souls 2 while playing it actually, and that is not a compliment.

>people placing this game at the top

HOW?

There are so many setbacks for the type of game from wanted to do. People will not be playing this in 4 to 5 years. It does not have longevity. There no variations in builds. There is no multiplayer component and once you have mastered your first run, new game plus doesnt change anything significant.

So what's the argument? The story? The music? The graphics?

I feel like people are just enjoying the variety of getting their asses kicked, which is a new sensation after getting used to BB/niOh(that also had these types of threads) and DaS, but I'm seriously stunned people find the combat and the absolutely abysmal/tacked on stealth component to be enough to put this game at the top of the pile.

Ring the Demon Bell and go to Mibu Village Mibu Manor for Wax and Geave Wax respectively. They drop Wax like candy

Oh so you are retarded. Thanks for letting us know user

If you played the final boss fight like a dark souls fight then you played it wrong

How do I kill that fat troll at the first level? Im stuck there

>. It does not have longevity. There no variations in builds. There is no multiplayer

Literally doesn't matter. It's a good game because it's a skill based action game, I could care less if it doesn't have multiplayer or builds since the first few playthroughs are the most important experiences and are spectacular in this game. I'll remember the game as From's best action game until they top it

Ninja Blade was better than this shit.

The Souls DNA is inundated in every inch of the game right down to having the same attack animations. Bloodborne had more high paced combat with no option to block. It was still a souls game. Sekiro puts a bigger focus on parying but its still very much following the souls formula

thanks fren

the ambiance of mibu village reminds me of the old fire temple theme with the chanting

It's literally just the git gud crowd trying to validate themselves. This game has zero standing other than the difficult combat. Also all the normalfags who skipped DaS are getting on the hype train just making it worse.

>in the series
people need to stop saying this, its not a dark souls game

In the West, you people lots of emphasis on your heart. Its your core, its where your decisions are made. In Japan, the same is true for the Stomach. Having butt stuff tossed in aint all that rare either considering the relationship of the two

neither do games like gta rdr or metal gear and people still play those soulsbab

>OKay you got me I skipped the opening cause its always useless filler in every souls game.

Attached: 721 la kill.jpg (481x637, 35K)

mibu village was fucking creepy
the divine one or the spooky one?

>parryfags got a whole fucking game devoted to their brainless fighting game mechanic
Why, Fromsoft? Why would you do this?

I've gotten Shura Ending so far and working on NG+. As far as bosses go that I've fought as the best
1. Isshin
2. Lady Butterfly, but ONLY if you don't have the charm and fight her on NG+, otherwise she isn't fun. Simply not being able to guard makes her an actual fight.
3. Emma, would probably like her more than Butterfly but her grab hitbox is QUALITY which is weird since Isshin has a proper grab hitbox
4. Corrupted Monk
5. Guardian Ape

Spooky for regular wax, divine one for grave wax

based a redpilled

>Has the best bosses
It doesn't have Ludwig

It doesn't have bed of chaos

is emma only for shura ending?
maybe i should have savescummed

Yes

Mibu gave that upper cathedral ward feel

killing genichiro takes literally less than 20 seconds. Just r1 spam him he has like only 2 counters to that.

>not being able to beat gen in a minute or two without taking a single hit

That's a solid opinion and I respect it

I did ragequit at ds1. Came back for it after some months, and it worked. I do preach for young normie casul zoomers now, gifted a trainee of mine an used copy

why was genichiro such a disapointing jobber?

seriously, I expected him to be the Vergil to Sekiro's Dante but he was just a chump

thanks fren

Where is the Tomoe boss battle?

>Forgot to characterize.
He has one of the strongest characterizations in the game. He's a duplicitous, manipulative, self serving, dishonorable shinobi master always looking for an angle to benefit himself. He has no code or vow he will not break in pursuit of what he wants.

How in the actual fuck

>In BB I died 20 times to the witches
literally how? that's the easiest boss in the game bar none
only easier boss might be the crystal sage in ds3
even pinwheel is harder if you go right after capra demon

dark souls 2 gets a lot of shit but it did have a lot of content and some good fights.

yeah viral and simon are the best

He faked his death. Owl is playing the long con of taking the dragon's heritage to become immortal, usurp Ashina, and eventually all of Japan.

I guess maybe he didn't realize the bar wasn't going down and was fighting the familiars endlessly? Maybe? That's my best guess

idk what kind of retarded autism is going on in Sekiro threads but the game isnt actually that hard. In souls / BB you basically only have one defensive option, roll, and its completely braindead but also means your timing needs to be pretty good and its easier to fall into bad habits and patterns with rolling. In Sekiro you have essentially 4 defensive options and enemies have 4 type of attacks, you just have to hit the right button that corresponds to the right enemy attack and you're done.

sekiro literally has perfect hitboxes
you'll never get hit with good spacing
in ds2 spacing was pointless when you'd get hit from 20 feet away with a dagger

what is the the best tool and why is it Jewish-Handshake Fan?

>perfect

>the fucking ogre grabs me from 5 feet away

no.

This game has a lot of potential for sequels or dlcs. Just need a little bit of improvement at level design

>Kaiba and Evol
who

Level run 1 is pointless because boss damage scales along with your new vitality. Vitality upgrades themselves are pointless, and I stopped fighting non-essential minibosses after my second necklace because of it. still beat the game perfectly fine.

No memory turn in for damage increase though? Now THATS some suffering you can sign yourself up for right there friendo.

He just waits.

Dark souls 3 is the best in regards to bosses

From Yu-Gi-Oh and Kamen Rider Build

>Has the worst bosses in the series
Literally the only bad boss is Demon of Hatred. Everyone else is great.

Seto Kaiba from Yu-Gi-Oh
And Kamen Rider Evol, the only good thing about Kamen Rider Build.

post yfw owl is back again in the dlc
that doesn't happen

the game is enjoyable for the non-boss areas

bosses are the worst part of sekiro, hands down. they are not fun.

and by fun I mean, enjoyable combat. you either parry or die and early game you have no estus/pots to heal and the res heals you to 50% only.

>When you front flip over someones head and avoid their horizontal strikes
>When you use the advancing strike and front flip over someones attack

Attached: 1278639014457.gif (160x119, 166K)

demon of hatred is great though

Attached: soy guy.jpg (1280x720, 72K)

what if owl was too busy politically manipulating things and his combat skills got rusty

if you don't use it you lose it

prosthetics are mostly useless on bosses why so are combat arts

any tips 4 guardian rape phase 2?

OST sucked
Setting doesn't interest me
Gameplay has confused identity, main game encourages stealth and strategy but bosses turn to Souls - esque fights. Which either turns into be as aggressive as possible and deflect when required or utilize gimmicks like prosthetics or lightning counter.
Difficulty comes from being oneshotted by everything, so you generally die when exposed to a new enemy or attack. (Admittingly I played with the Demon Seed active my playthrough)
The World is incredibly small.
Gun Fort being locked ruins the already limited replayabilit
No build variety
Best boss locked behind ending that losses 30% of the games content.
Easiest Souls game to get all achievements

Its a 7/10 for me personally, but could absolutely be improved on in a lot of areas

Attached: sekiro-24-1534764186.jpg (1920x1080, 442K)

so when does upgrading attack start being pointless? was thinking of farming skills
at 12 attack power right now

you're not using em right

YES IT DOES

I cant tell you how many times the fucking faggot ogre has magically grabbed me despite a perfect side dash.

I decided to just cheese it by sprinting, because that works.

No youre just a brainlet

The later bosses border or exist at what is basically DLC quality already.

A generous portion of Sekiro's "minibosses" are already harder, and smarter than comparative souls-like "lesser" and even their better bosses

start running when he lifts his head
parry the big over head swing and it will stun him

who where they in sekiro?

sounds like a skill problem to me

>final bossfight is your previously non-antagonistic mentor figure
>fought in a bright white field as everything around you burns
>as the fight progresses he switches between a sword and a polearm
Quick, which game am I talking about: Bloodborne or Sekiro?

more like

BB = DS1 > DeS > DS3 > Sekiro > DS2

my cannon is that he got badly injured during the 3 year span and lost some of his power

Not in my opinion, while I think there are some great bosses that are really really good, I don't think they quite hit the mark as much as the best bosses from Dark Souls and Bloodborne.

You literally cant be oneshotted by anything because you have a revive

you got hit by his hands
surprisingly the hands are part of the grab hitbox

>Hi guys, Jeremy from the Quatering here and--

Does Mist Noble have any attacks at all? He just eats whatever I dish out.

>side dash.
your supposed to jump or at least back dash

history repeats it'self

Are you really this dumb?
Skill is irrelevant to any of my criticism. Having more skill makes me enjoy the OST better, excuse me? I've already cleared all content, now all I have left is farming Exp for all skills and then I can start challenge runs like NG/Bell/PoH/No Beads runs

literally jumped outside it, and magically got grabbed.

Ogre and Ape have the same fucking issue. Ape will do it with his jumping grab.

Phase 2 of owl full power is easier, since the jump timing on his fire owl is extremely generous and he always follows it up with a thrust that's pretty much a free Mikiri counter.

Attached: your opinion.jpg (600x522, 44K)

>perfect hitboxes
The game is amazing but fuck no. Some hitboxes are hilariously bad, couple with some enemies that have tracking out the ass(ogre turns 90 degrees while in mid air for example).

Out of all of Froms game Sekiro has the weakest, everything sounded like Vordt of the Boreal Valley but with Japanese instruments.

the ogre is fine

How does it have the best/worst in the series when there's only been one fuckin game? Are you retarded? If you're comparing this games bosses with other Fromsoft games bosses, then you can just stop now. Pick literally any soulsborne boss and they would be immediately better than any boss in sekiro.

Attached: i should kick yoru fucking ass.png (544x361, 315K)

I made a horrible mistake playing dmc5 before sekiro.

dmc5 was one of the best/most fun games in a while, while sekiro is...frustrating.

having better taste makes you enjoy the ost

maybe he contracted some debilitating disease and that's what prompted him to try and take the divine blood for himself

Boss damage doesn't scale. You get 1 hit by late game bosses if you don't upgrade your health vs 2-3 hit if you do.

none of it sounded like vordt
and even if it did vordt is the best ds3 ost

Sekiro is only frustrating until you beat the game once or twice. Than it's kind of fine for a playthrough or two before it loops back into being boring because the combat is too stiff.

>enemies tracking you is bad hitboxes
no
mimics grabbing and eating you when your behind them is bad hitboxes
or ds3s phantom range

I just turned it off. Game was improved dramatically for me.

I almost stopped playing but I had to beat it before dropping the game.

both where kino, what's the problem here?

What series?

What are you talking about they both trivialize some bosses. You can cheese almost a full healthbar out of most bosses with firecrackers for example. Ichimonji staggers most bosses and so does the axe. Shuriken drops any boss that jumps around. Sabimaru doesn't give them enough time to counter. Spear makes short work of some of them. Whistle stuns some. The only one I haven't found a good use for is the fan.

the retard that tries to block giant shockwaves with a katana

After my first play with demon seed on, I thought the game was moderately challenging.

But i decided to try a ng without the bell and the game is honestly a joke with how easy is it. Like I struggle to imagine anyone had trouble with it without seed equipped.

the difference is that dmc5 is an easy game where you just hit puppets that dont fight back
in sekiro the enemies fight back
just use cheat engine and you'll get the same experience as dmc5

Sekiro is fun mostly, but then you get to bosses and realize it's a tedious parry-fest.

Rarely can you get more than 1-2 hits in. And then parry over and over and over.

but DMC5 was just typical Japanese incel bait button masher garbage.

>Easiest Souls game to get all achievements
>being autistic enough to have this as a criticism

>whoa people have different opinions
>those with differing opinions are wrong!

Get off my board, fuckwits.

Bell demon is only marginally more hard than normal. Two shots still two shots. Three shots just two shot now as well.

The only way to actually gleam any difficulty is by giving Kuro his charm back, as that makes deflects mandatory and opens up more situations to die through your guard.

Shut up incel.

Level 1 run is only possible with Shura ending.
You need air parry for Divine Dragon. Or else you cant kill it.

Level Deisign
Ds1>DeS>BB=Sekiro>ds2>ds3

let's put it this way.

dmc5 is fun combat

sekiro is more demanding, but far less fun.

if you're playing dmc5 like a scrubby casual doing nothing but combo 1 and stinger it's not a very fun game either you retard

After taking an hour on owl. I rushed to the end and didn't do any of the option ending shit and promptly uninstalled it. Cant put my finger on it, it's not like a souls game where you can fuck up bosses in a minute you have to do this tedious dance of block and attack once or twice when you can. Fights get drawn out over 10 minutes then you have the bullshit 1 or two hits and you are dead. Glad I finished it but I wont be playing it again whereas I have finished the souls and bloodborne games several times and always manage to find some fun thing to do.

>Guys jumps in the air and does a 360 no scope to hit you with his giant ass weapon

This isn't how physics works and its very unintuitve. Every enemy having magnets attached to his sword feels awful. More so that the parry windows in this game are so god damn generous that it may as well just be blocking

>s-shut up
Lmao

you just said the hitboxes are bad which is a straight lie you retarded fag, kill yourself

Sekiro feels like SL1/BL4 runs where you do dick for damage but die in one hit. I understand if not everyone finds that appealing.

or character customization. Is Souls your first games?

so why don't you block if it's so easy

>fence sitter

there is no depth to sekiro, a parry is a parry is a parry.

compare that to 4 style dante.

Nigger what the fuck are you talking about the fights if you know what the fuck are you doing are really fucking fast.

it's how physics work if the one tracking you has a brain
and parries in sekiro are no easier than parries in souls games i dunno why people spout that

A good amount of bosses can be deleted through posture. But Owl 2 can not and that's annoying.

I would kill for a "combat art" that is a parry that stuns the enemy.

Why are all the abilities literally useless

I can ignore 99% of the talent tree and win. All you need is mikiri.

muh epic anime flashy spins

Attached: oc ds3 zoomer.png (680x277, 184K)

yea but you probably play pokemon you faggot

Thats precisely the issue. When the game works, it looks great. I can study the enemy and make a choice based on what hes going to do. When it pulls out the trial and error bullshit where it demands you to make the correct choice or die- then obscures what that choice is its a problem

>Fighting guy
>Red Kanji appears
>He draws his blade to his side
>Obviouslly a sweep, jump over him

>Fighting guy
>Red kanji appears
>He pulls his sword backwards with both hands
>Obviouslly a thrust, just mikiri

>Fighting an ape
>Red kanji
>He leaps into the air
>Starts spinning like a blender and flys through the air
>BROOO HOW DID YOU NOT KNOW THAT WAS A THRUST LOOOL!!!

Biggest Problem with Sekiro is it so heavily demands you study your enemy then flat out lies to you about what they are doing.

Damn right I'm using a phone
How else can I post on Yea Forums while playing video games, fag?

ah yes swordmaster which locks all the moves you want to use, trickster which locks basic movement techniques behind style change, gunslinger which is literally useless except for style point padding and royal guard which is literally the sekiro parry

You factually have a massive window for non kanji parries, especially when compared to souls game.

no I have played all the fromsoft games

name one fight in this game better than any fight in the Bloodborne DLC.

How do i kill the monkey ? Just run and atack for 20 minutes until depletes hiz bazilion HP?

Yup this is the constant nonsense on this board about this game. Dont give a fuck anyway I have finished and platinued multiple souls games and Bloodborne, I prefer them and that's that. Get over it that people are 50/50 on this one.

if you're not sure what they're about to do you back off and study what they do so you can counter it. you don't have to stand there and get hit to learn what attacks do.

Yeah it's a bit weird that there are no parry window combat arts. It would have gone a long way to spice up the combat. The umbrella + projected force kind of count I guess.

I know what you're trying to do but he's right. Sekiro has limited offensive depth. This is by design. Anyways "lock your moves" is wrong, gunslinger has uses beyond style and contains your singlemost damaging move in the game, and RG RR and RRv are not literally Sekiro's parrys.

Rise above the shitposting.

Which is the cooler boss fight?

Isshin, Saint Sword or Owl 2?

The second phase of issin is redundant, there is hardly any change besides the lightning attack. Issin is also textbook "memorize and counter" with the really dumb thing being if you mess up once the phase essentially resets because his posture goes down and he's all about countering everything and not whittling down HP because he takes so much posture damage. No one who gets to the end of the game and beats bosses like owl is going to be stuck on phase one of geni. Get over yourself scrub.

>Get over it that people are 50/50 on this one.
You're placing aggression in the wrong place. I'm not too on about the game either, mostly because of its replayability. I was just correcting a statement. I don't give a shit if you didn't like it.

not a single combat art is helpful on bosses. not one. every single one leaves you open to a counter.

>Red Kanji comes up
>Unsure what it is so you back away
>TOO BAD WRONG CHOICE INSTANT KILL GRAB TRY AGAIN

No. It just has the best bosses of the series. With every single boss in Sekiro, except maybe the Gyobu, you can't win until and unless you master the boss and learn how to avoid damage and keep pressure on properly. With overwhelming majority of Soulsborne bosses this is not the case, unless you're doing some sort of challenge run. Not only you can tank and spank quite a lot of them even at SLs achievable without hardcore grinding, most of the rest are quite tolerant of sloppy play. After you've seen enough of their moves to know when they leave openings for a quick chug, you can make quite a lot of errors and still win the damage race. Not so Sekiro. Only Bloodborne and DS 2/3 DLCs have bosses that leave such little margin of error.

Furthermore, not only Sekiro bosses are hard, they are also deep. Each can be defeated by concentrating on his posture or his vitality, different tools can be of use in every fight, and while some tactics may be easier than others, they only rarely make a boss trivial. In DS even some of the hardest bosses, like Nameless King, could become a joke just because you selected a certain playstile.

>want to play game and be part of the hype train
>it's too hard and I wish it was easier
>point this out
>somehow I, and people who think like me are vilified

why are you autistics too insecure to realize the game would be more popular if it wasn't so difficult?

memorizing boss patterns doesn't make for good or memorable boss design. Demon's souls has the best bosses in the series.

there is no instant kill grab that can hit you when you leap away. stop being dishonest because you're bad.

I'm probably the top player in the world you fuckin retard scrub. Can't wait till they add PvP do I can put retard faggot cunts like you in your place.

Why do you assume a game being more popular is inherently a good thing?

Guess how I knew that you did not play Sekiro?

Because the difficulty is part of the appeal and the intended experience, hence no difficulty options.
Go watch an LP or actually give the game the time it needs for you to learn how to play it rather than reeing about difficulty every time something popular from FromSoft comes out.

The iframes on leaping don't last that long. If you leap away from a delayed grab you're donzo, say something like the gorilla belly flop, the ogre lunge, the gun-cunts swipe, second form genchiro's leap. If you don't make the right call on any of these you've been trial and error'd

Owl 2 has a cooler second phase that's easier than his first phase. Isshin is cooler as a concept but he's overall way too easy to bully once you learn his patterns. Old man Isshin is cooler than SS Isshin because at least he uses 100% of his moves.

What? Ichimonji is (almost) universally useful on every boss. The only boss in the game that can stuff it is phase 2 Isshin. His sword swipe up hits faster than your recovery everytime everytime. One mind and Dragon Flash are also universally useful. Shadowrush exists and is alright, and Ashina Cross is one of your higher HP damage abilities you get for a time.

They have their uses. The only real "problem" is that you can beat the entire game without them as the game doesn't do a good enough job encouraging their use. Oh and many enemies AI reacts to arts in different ways depending on the art. So that's kind of bullshit.

it's not even that difficult, it's easier than any souls on newgame+ unless you use OP everything. The main flaws with the game is how derivative everything in it is, from stealth to skill trees to souls mechanics and controls, in addition to the shallow combat. it really is 90% mashing l1/r1 with tools and skills hardly coming into play besides firecracker. it seriously has less combat depth than souls which was reliant on it's stamina bar, in terms of what you can do (not enemy design) it's one of the most shallow pure action games of all time. it's like a joke compared to something like ninja gaiden or DMC.

Literally git gud
The game is perfect
FUCK OFF

you can safely sprint away from everything you listed

Ape boss is a shitty copypaste
> You liked liked trying to find windows in which to land hits between endless 5 hit combos bruh?
> We'll just spawn another ape for you to fight bruh
> Almost all attacks take half of your max health

its not that hard. But you get caught in a negative spiral in a way you cant in Souls. You run out of spirit tokens, and your exp cant be recovered.

Given some of the skills are pretty powerful its a pretty big blow.

And the exp halving at death is a nuts idea. Are you just meant to grind between bosses? You can't possibly be expected not to die at them even once?

Is Ashina really the 3rd boss in the game? Seems a bit extreme to have to deal with 4 fucking life bars this early in the game with someone who doesn't fucking keep stamina damage for very long.

how are you dying twice between bosses. if you get fucked up by regular enemies you can literally just run or grapple away.

>>be part of the hype train

That's your problem. Fuck off somewhere else with your fear of missing out mindset. Not everything has to be made for you.

the fuck is the point of the upgraded ichimonji? feels the exact same.

answer the question, when is unseen aid ever useful at all

Whats the point of the trees in the ape fight? I feel like there is some kind of trick there. I havent found any attacks that warrant you getting out like that.

Is is because you suck dick for a living?

Attached: sekiro unmemorable bosses.png (829x489, 539K)

probably just to get breathing room in phase 1 or to help avoid the terror howl

if you're bad at dodging his grab like the shitters here you could probably use those to dodge him

In situations outside of bosses retard.

I'm fine between bosses. Thats what I mean. I kill a boss and I don't get enough exp to level up, then I die at the next boss and lose half of it. So you're just meant to grind?

>unseen aid 10%
OH NONONO AHAHAHAHAHAHA

I've seen that picture used before retard. Nice try tho.

but you will usually see it on attempts after bosses as they take some deaths

when you already have 0 gold/xp.

do you not kill enemies just normally playing through areas

Besides that.

if you get the full skill level it doesnt deplete after death, so if youre at skill level 2 90% just grind to 3

>get hit with lightning in air
>press r1
>nothing happens
>die when I hit the ground
>watched 3 different videos of people fight him
>all get hit by lightning at least once

Is lighting reversal just unreliable bullshit?

No shit that's when you die the most. It won't help you in those situations but it might in others you fool.

STFU u fucking faggot incel let's see yours.

no I've never not done it when hit by lightning

Owl 2 Phase 2 is cool and the fight is great as well, but Isshin SS Phase 2 is way cooler especially his start up and arena. He's way too easy to kite though especially those that love to run around and poke one at a time. But if you try to fight him straight up, it's a very fun fight.

Isshin (Shura End) is okay. He's so easy to posture break if you have the High Monk. That fucking skill breaks posture like a goddamn truck.

did you miss your chance to get the Umbrella?

>Do you like eating sweet food?
>I eat anything.
>Well that doesn't mean you dislike sweet food.
An underappreciated character trait is how potently autistic Sekiro is.

Dragonrot
>punishes you for losing money and xp by making you lose money and xp more frequently
>first one drops you from 30% unseen aid to 13%, but seemingly any number more after that only drops you to like 11%
>makes it seem like your NPCs are going to die and blocks your quest progress, but it turns out all the NPC quests are all trash that give garbage rewards and all the merchants sell pretty much the same shit

lmao desperate and moving goalposts.
I don't even know what this is supposed to mean, I have 8 necklasses and there are only 10. are you mad I have "high" HP or mad I didn't collect every bead?
you want me to take another screenshot?

Say that to Ichimonji.

you have to time the jump right pleb

>[Say nothing]

Yes, but sometimes its really soon between bosses. Maybe its just where I am, which is Genshiro to That Fucking Ape.

seething scrub

I only ever cured dragon rot once because apparently you need that rat to move to the temple to kill the snake.

>[Glass him]

>Okami Leader Shizu
>jumps in the air
>I do too, to close the distance and get those 2 hits in
>actually do a mid-air deathblow and kill her immidiately

Attached: 09d.png (162x223, 81K)

If I've never played Dark Souls, would Sekiro be a good game to start?

wrong

that's not true
and i'm a parry god in all souls

its fairly unreliable. If you can pull it off once and spam a couple fircrackers you'll kill him fast enough.

>How do i kill the monkey ? Just run and atack for 20 minutes until depletes hiz bazilion HP?
yeah
the thrust and jump is really cool
better than ds3 arts

literally the easiest boss in the game
just keep using thrust attacks and spacing you retard

parry him

>the bosses are not memorable
>LOL YOU NO PLAY THE GAME SEKIRO IS PERFECT
>post screenshot of beating game (with true ending)
>fuck you you must be bad even though you beat it!
Maybe stop parroting the "it's too hard for souls players" you projecting scrub. it's so simplistic it's just memorizing boss patterns (as there is no chance to just "wing it" besides the easy bosses) mash l1 with minimal timing, maybe look for a dash counter or jump and attack once or twice so the poise doesn't recover as fast. Rinse and repeat over and over again.

npc

>it's so simplistic
>that's why I can't do it stop calling people bad
well well well

im ass at DS souls (enough so that i stopped doing them by gargoyles) but it's easy in sekiro

>Is Ashina really the 3rd boss in the game?
what?

Genichiro is actually really really really really really fucking stupid and nothing he does can ever hit you.

You don't even have to play it perfectly. Just sit still and attack at his general direction until you move close enough to hit him because the way his AI works is actually pants on head retarded.

I didn't realize there were ways to fight isshin 2 without just parrying everything. What do you mean kite?
>attack twice and deflect the jump back or armored swing
>deflect the ichimonji
>deflect the two hit start up of his big combo (back out of the combo if unfamiliar)
>throw a shuriken or heal to force an action if he's standing back letting his posture recover
>deflect his attacks when he's drifting
>sidestep the slam and poke him in the ass
>Block the bullets and either step on his sword or jump on his head for either of the two unblockables
>Dodge away or through the sword shockwaves
Relatively I also found old man Isshin harder to Posture break than Isshin 1 and Isshin 2.

I think that's all of his attacks. And I do like the concept at least. Like it's cool and all I guess but aesthetically owl 2 knocks it out of the park despite being a pushover. But Isshin is just as much of a push over because his spear phase is easier than his sword phase and his lightning phase is a gimmick phase where he starts begging you for assisted suicide with each lightning strikes. It's silly.

I only got it to work consistently vs the dragon, vs issin it was fucking random and I died multiple times because I autististicly insisted on finishing him with it.

SPBP

nigga you're the biggest npc in this thread.

Wolf is a god tier husbando

I think he might be optional. wtf are you doing there?

he's a manlet

so just like you?

fuck you for taking bad ending.

Attached: master forgive me but i have to go all out just this once.png (733x411, 651K)

>I didn't realize there were ways to fight isshin 2 without just parrying everything. What do you mean kite?

Just run around the arena and then wait for Isshin SS Phase 2 to do the Jump Spear move and attack him after then run again. Rinse and repeat. After battling him I checked up on some videos on how people fought him and that's what I saw.

Old Man Isshin Phase 1, if you're lucky you can Posture Break him with 30 seconds if he does the sweep unblockable twice. Just stick near him and then when it's coming, do High Monk.

Except I already proved I beat the game? The combat being shallow doesn't mean the game is super easy, it just means your options are limited and it's uninsteresting.

doesn't relate to parrying
it's like mgr but harder

I'm 5'10" which is at least one full foot taller than sekiro.

>nigger speak
kys normalnigger npc

Its where I happen to be? Why wouldn't I have reached him next? Only place that seems like it may be next is the underground area, but fuck the first headless guy scared me into thinking I should avoid those types of enemies till late game.

>Old Man Isshin Phase 1, if you're lucky you can Posture Break him with 30 seconds if he does the sweep unblockable twice. Just stick near him and then when it's coming, do High Mon
Neat. I'm kind of burned out now at 6 playthroughs but I think I'll keep a note on this so I can have fun with it later on.

Also man just waiting for the unga smash? That seems kind of lame. That's like running around Geiniciro 2 in Ashina Castle and just running around until the lightning. Like yeah you'll win but where's the satisfaction.

>in the series
There's only 1 game though?

I like the Witcher 3's combat though how do you feel about that?

>memespeak
pretty cringe whiteboi.

sekiro is a 7/10. pretty well made, very derivative, doesn't offer anything I can't get done better in another game. Seriously a lot like God of war in this respect.

No Soulsborne game is challenging to 100% complete, particularly as the only one where you even need to beat all the hardest bosses for a platinum is Bloodborne.

The reason most people don't have all the trophies is that all games require bullshit like replaying them three times for different endings (unless you back up your save) and shitty fucking collect-a-thon which also requires multiple replays AND doing quests which you can only do without a guide if you're an insane autist who checks every corner of the gameworld every time you defeat a boss to see if something has changed.

You went in the wrong order user, you can't progress, your save file is fucked. Delete it and start over.

Just beat hatred lads.

One questions. What is the max amount of blue laz whatever can you get in one PT?

did you speak to the NPC and get a bell which took you to a memory? Or have you fought the horse guy yet?

Seven Spear is a miniboss.

6

witcher 3 combat is functional as it's not a pure action game, and with signs and bombs and shit the game probably does have more depth than sekiro. it's just held back by horrible hit/hurtboxes and computer generated tier enemy design. witcher 2 was better, but not by much. it certainly destroys shit like skyrim.

>not doing Fountainhead in NG+ exclusively
>needing the extra memories for NG+

Yeah I've already fought Butterfly and the horse guy. I meant 3rd boss, not including minibosses.

HURRY SOMEONE TELL ME IF I SHOULD SEND THE SAMURAI TO THE SURGEON IN THE DUNGEON

WHAT ARE THE REWARDS

WHAT WOULD I MISS BY NOT DOING IT

AHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Attached: 200w.gif (200x200, 16K)

sorry, meant parrying in dark souls. yeah, i agree about the MGR parrying. I really liked MGR, so maybe that's why I'm liking the parrying so much in sekiro

well he's a miniboss. Next guy you want to fight is Genshiro on top of the Castle. Then head to the swamp.

Both options give worthless garbage so it's really up to whichever you feel better about doing lore/story wise.

This is correct. People in love with it are just low IQ hype fags or literally underage and haven't played many games. With a touch of "if I criticize this game people will call me bad!" of course.

following his story just gets you a jizo statue, send him to the dungeon instead

doesn't matter, both rewards are a joke. Why they made stuff like beads and goard seeds in random chests instead of NPC quest rewards it beyond me.

>witcher 3 combat good
>sekiro comabat bad
Left click, left alt, repeat. That's how you combat every single enemy in Witcher 3 without any need to do anything different at all. You're just making the game more difficult for yourself when you use any of the retard bombs, doesn't matter if it's a boss or a wolf your best bet is always left click left alt repeat.

so what do i get if i send both of them to the dungeon

Attached: 1530749479851.jpg (635x767, 70K)

people would complain it's too difficult to get the rewards now people complain the rewards aren't good enough

Genichiro Ashina is the guy I'm talking about... He's on top of the castle.
