It's really stupid to think that Majima who spent a long time as the right hand man of Shimano, the most viscious and violent Dojima lieutenant, and the boss of his own family without killing anyone or at least ordering someone to be killed. He beat a guy nearly to death for messing with his bro Kiryu and had to be stopped in 1 or did they tone that down in Kiwami to fit in with his new good guy image? I haven't played Kiwami yet.

Does Majima actually not kill? I know 0 makes Majima into a pussy because he's in the protagonist role so they made his first mark a little blind girl, but what about the rest of the series? isn't he supposed to be some insane brute that bludgeons his own men for kicks?

Kiwami retains all of the old cutscenes, but peppers in a bunch of his goofy KIRYU-CHAAAN shit from the later games. It's really jarring.

judgment tried new things with the combat and it turned out really fun (from what i played in the demo), so if they refine the things they introduced in that game on top of supplying more new cool stuff, we could get a top tier yakuza game.
i like him more with the messy hair.
it helps him stand out more from other protagonists.
