The entire point of Borderlands 2 was to get to level 72 OP8, then grind for 8+ hours to get certain weapons and gear (in a game that talks about a bazillion guns), then I guess...replay the game again? By that time there's no incentive to level up or find cool weapons. Players are given the illusion that they're progressing.

can someone explain to me how you play this game on a controller? genuinely curious BTW, I only played mordecai and a lot of the gameplay came down to hitting critical spots. does the controller scheme have A LOT of autoaim or what? because tiny heads at 100meters are pretty hard to hit even with kbm

It's likely only the new 4 vault hunters. The amount of effort that goes into making a character with the branching skill trees is pretty substantial and if they put that amount of work into the previous Vault Hunters to make them characters then we DEFINITELY would have seen them as playable in the trailer.

Yeah I agree, always felt that borderlands games have pretty trash trailers. BL2 trailer was pretty cringey and doesn't do the proper game justice.
