The gravity powers are cool but the game is just not very good.
I bought a PS4 a few month ago and I was very hyped for GR2, but most of the main story missions are boring as fuck.
Plus the online part was shut down so I'll never get the tank top outfit.

Not gonna lie I just sort of ignore the idea of that plot point beyond the idea that Raven inadvertently got her powers from Kat when she fell from the tower.
The idea of them being the same person and barely having it touched upon just serves to make things more confusing and seems to undermine Raven's backstory as her own character.

I just wish that more of the side-quests made use of Kat's unique skillset.
I'm not even that bothered by the idea of more scavenger hunts and stealth sections, but making it so you have to talk to twenty random civilians to find the one who actually has the info on where you need to go, or having to sneak through an area that forbids the use of any of your powers seems like such a roundabout way to do it.

Agree, some side missions weren't worth it, and it's very agreed upon that the Jirga arc felt like filler, which i kinda agree, i liked it but it felt too episodic, but some stuffs could have been used to expand on the Hekseville arc.

It ended on a weird super rushed arc that set up a showdown with the fancy cloud people and presumably an aged up emperor.
Plus it left lots of questions about stuff like where the powers come from, how to stop the gravity thing swallowing all of existence, and other stuff.

I just kind of choose to assume that her backstory is the same, but that memories of the bus crashing incident for most people are fuzzy and inconsistent because it was retconned to have a happy ending. Otherwise half of the first game's plot just loses most of its character motivation.
I think it was implied that Bit made it so Kat and Raven remembered it all normally nearing the end of GR2 anyway, so whatever.
