Too bad the game got so ball-bustingly hard (and probably too long) after finally getting the princesses to school. If you're not spamming spells constantly you just get completely overrun.

Hollow Knight is easily THE best. There are a lot of good picks, though.

I wish the game had a custom run mode to take out spells and items you hate and to adjust the difficulty just for fun. Seed mode is not enough without a proper generator.

I really tried to like the game but it just doesn't haven enough golfing it. It instead tried to focus way too heavily on constant riffing and boring mini games. A shame really because if they just trimmed the fat on it, it could have been more.

This was shit and hugely disappointing. Would have been better as a pure golf game the rpg stuff was so half-assed.

Get Blaster Master Zero 2. Fun as shit and doesn't overstay its welcome. It's 10 bucks though so ask mommy or something.

The one that most impressed me was probably Inside. It's short but absolutely fantastic, basically the perfect game.

Steamworld Dig 2 was great (skip the first one, the sequel is a massive improvement).
