Smash Ultimate. It's a lot of fun. I wish they brought back All Star mode and some form of Adventure mode, but the roster is fantastic and the soundtrack is insane. Way too many generic, boring ass Fire Emblem characters.

A REALLY GOOD GAME SERIES WHERE YOU CAN BARELY TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE GAMES BECAUSE THEY ALL USE THE SAME ART ASSETS AND THE SAME ENGINE. THE GRAPHICS ARE AN EYESORE BUT THE WRITING IS GOLDEN. IT'S SUPER POLITICAL WITHOUT REFERENCING ANY REAL LIFE POLITICS AND REALLY MAKES YOU THINK ABOUT THE CHOICES YOU MAKE. IT'S ALSO NON TYPICAL FANTASY SETTING WITH MAGICAL BIO-ORGANIC TECHNOLOGY.

TKB MARIO BROS, A ROM HACK OF SUPER MARIO BROS, WAS REALLY FUN. THE LEVEL DESIGN WAS GREAT. THE DIFFICULTY WAS PERFECT, STARTED AT ABOUT THE DIFFICULTY OF WORLD 3 AND WORKED IT'S WAY UP, WAS A GOOD CHALLENGE. IT ALSO DID SOME NEW UNEXCPECTED THINGS WITH THE LEVELS, LIKE PIPES THAT TAKE YOU BACK TO A PREVIOUS SECTION OF THE LEVEL, TO AN ALTERNATE PATH, AND AN UNDERWATER CASTLE AT ONE POINT. VERY FUN, WOULD RECCOMMEND.

Excellent when you want to embrace your inner autistic self and want to satisfy your self diagnosed OCD.
Good to play alone if you have the patience or gather some friends to share the blame for the fucking mess of your factory, the game is still in alpha and it lacks most of the promised features but it's extremely promising, if you like factorio or similar logistics games this is a must

I haven't finished yet, but honestly, it feels like the main thing this has going for it ia the quirky writing and interesting sci-fi mixed with magic world, but that's about it. The story is bland, the gameplay is bland, but the designs are amazing and the interaction portion of the writing, the dialogue that is, is great

7/10 so far, but only because the weirdness appeals to me and makes up for the bland aspectss

IN ADDITION, MULTIPLAYER LEADS TO FAIRLY CONSISTENT SITUATIONS THAT FORCE A VERY SPECIFIC PLAYSTYLE, AND POINT TOWARD A NEED TO FIX LATE GAME PLAYER VS PLAYER COMBAT, SUCH AS IMPLEMENTING MORE ENGAGING POPULATION ISSUES OR REWORKING THE DAMAGE THAT WAR DEVASTATION CAUSES PROVINCES. TOO OFTEN THE GAME DEVOLVES INTO SEVERAL PSEUDO-PRUSSIAS SLAMMING MASSIVE STACKS INTO EACH OTHER, WIPING THEIR INCOME AND MANPOWER, AND THEN TAKING ONLY A SINGLE PROVINCE.

It's a good roguelike. Straight to the point, only four classes but they're quite distinct. The control scheme is pretty good and the mechanics are easy to get. If you like roguelikes definitely check it out (it's free yo)

Hollow Knight. Solid 9/10 experience. DLC was amazing, AND free. Shows how much love Team Cherry put into the game. The soundtrack is astounding, graphically it's stunning, but the gameplay is where it truly shines. Not since Super Metroid have I felt such a desire to play the game to completion. Multiple playthroughs are guaranteed, especially now that I'm trying to finish the godhome pantheon.

Prototype. Still as unfathomably kino as I remember, literally one of my favorite games ever.

It's probably the most difficult racing game I have ever touched, but damn if it doesn't feel satisfying to win in it.
The car selection is decent, although a bit lacking compared to 3's, and the map pretty much almost looks and feels like the real thing. Love the attention to detail in the cockpit view, too.

It's another roguelike focused a lot on synergy, the most complicated character is the easiest, some bosses are retarded but i just suck at it. 10/10 nobody cares

i tried Fallout76 again because there was "new content". it was a 15 minute quest with absolutely nothing new, which just unlocks brewing craft benches. alcohol has 0 reason to exist btw and just weighs down your inventory. i've done pretty much everything in the game and i'm not even level capped. everyone else running around is level 200-400 and i have no idea how or why. some people were farming nukes and killing a Scorch Queen over and over. it was fucking boring. i didn't even level up from that. what a pile of absolute shit.

Blossom Tales: The Sleeping King

Decent game, pretty derivative of top down Zelda games though. Cute story that you can finish with in a day, probably around 15 hours if you do everything. I got it on sale, worth picking up if you like Link to the Past style games.

Darkbeast was a weird experience for me. Got to him way too early, took the back way or some shit and got completely fucked by him in my first encounter, decided to go another route.
When I came back around to him, I had Ludwig's Holy Blade, R2 charged his face, staggered him, did the execution move, by which point I had take 50% of his health. A couple more stabs to the face and he was done.
I don't even remember his moveset it was over so quickly.

Risk of Rain 2. Solid transition from 2D to 3D. Some minor quibbles like teleporters spawning half inside walls or blending in with the environment (fuck off with your fireflies, sometimes you can't even see those) or the teleporter fight zone having a limited radius, it's a solid game even though it's only been in early access for literally 1 full day. Bring back Acrid/10

I bought Tales From the Borderlands because it's seemingly relevant to BL3 and a few folks recommended it. So far I'm two episodes in, and while I enjoy some of the characters/writing, it feels like a jankier TWAU. The use of actual game assets is neat, but when put next to Telltale's OCs sometimes results in a stark contrast.

Overall I'd say it's decent enough if you enjoy Borderlands, but otherwise not worth the time. Also I fucking hate having to mash Q in QTEs.

I'm fighting him via the back way you get from being kidnapped but I refuse to move on until I spanked this lightning fuck. I've gotten so fucking close, like less than an eighth remaining. A bit of prep work and I think I got him next time.

I started using the saw blade on him because it's hitboxes are better for hitting Paarl than my other weapons and I outfitted it with fire gems because it's weak to that. Worked pretty well, took me from not even being able to get half his HP down to being able to get him close to dead.

I think that if I bring a fuckload of oil and huck it at him I'll be able to down him. But I gotta grind echoes for the oil and for more vials because I'm out.

I don't have consistent access to fire paper yet, wish I did, but I'm fresh out.

Yeah, it's a good castle management game. Stronghold 2's economic mission were a step in the right direction. It's pretty difficult, and challenging yourself to alway be at 100 popularity raises the bar.
I hope that Stronghold Next has more thought put on the economic sim aspect of the game.
I still buy stuff from Firefly, they are good devs (bar from S3 and Legends) and their Stronghold series is something that has to be preserved imo

it's a game where you fly around in small procedurally generated maps and get points
it's very relaxing to fly around but if you're trying to do cool stuff to get more points, like flying through tight caverns or something, it can also be very engaging
i got it for sale for like half a dollar, i'd say it was worth it

SO FAR IVE SEEN NO BAD CASES AND TURNABOUT ACADEMY IS PERHAPS THE BEST FILLER CASE IN THE FRANCHISE, ATHENA WAS A GOOD ADDITION TO THE GAME YET I FEEL CAPCOM COULD HAVE EXPLORED MORE OF APOLLO BEING ALONE WITH TRUCY AS A COMPANION FOR ONE MORE GAME BEFORE INTRODUCING ATHENA AND THE MOOD MATRIX, DESPITE THAT I CAN SEE THE GAME TRYING TO DEVELOP BOTH OF THEIR STORIES AT THE SAME TIME(which I guess its the reason for why the game is called Dual Destinies) AND HAVE NO HAD TROUBLE WITH THAT. ONLY COMPLAINT IS THE FACT THAT IVE ONLY USED THE MAGAMTAMA ONCE SO FAR AND THAT 3D MODELS MAKES APOLLO'S PERCEPTION POWER WORSE, ALSO THE FACT THAT FOR NO REASON AT ALL OTHER THAN "THE BIRD DOESNT LIKE IT" I WASNT ABLE TO PERCEIVE ONE OF THE WITNESSES.

Mother 3 almost made me cry. While the change from Earthbound's moment based story is big, I was compelled by the story the whole time. The characters were great (Duster was my favorite) and it had plenty of charm
I was underleveled and had to grind a little bit before the final fight with Fassad but that was the only real problem I had.
In conclusion, I loved it.

ANOTHER EDEN
A very lovely made game from some of the creators of Chrono Trigger, a single player rpg with character collecting gacha elements. There are plenty of throw backs to Chrono Trigger, and it's been fun trying to find each one.

Unlike CT, the story (So far) doesn't end, but leaves a to be continued with upcoming events and challenges to keep me occupied until the next story chapter.
