The debut and Killers will always be the best albums.
Devil May Cry 3
goddamn that's the best song of Iron Maiden, even though basically all of them are god tier
HoMM3
>Phantom of the Opera
>magnum opus of music
kek
>anything Di'anno
>magnum opus.
This is the most underrated Sabbath album.
I have a better question whats the hallowed be thy name of vidia
a.k.a. the second coming of god hood.
>dissing on Di'Anno
plebs
Di'anno is a fuckup and a scumbag but there's nothing wrong with the first album/Killers
Phantom of the Opera is my favorite musical but I don't know enough about them to call it a magnum opus
Hallowed Be Thy Name will always be my favorite.
Master of Magic
This spawned countless spiritual successors, among them Heroes of Might and Magic, Age of Wonders and Disciples
>being this much of a retart
Trust me i think Diannos a tool but the first two albums are kino
why people shit on this albums synthsound?
Fear of the Dark and The Trooper and 2 Minutes to Midnight are all better.
Di'anno isn't bad but all of Maiden's best material is with Bruce and most Di'anno Maiden songs sound better with Bruce singing.
>it doesn't sound like the last 6 albums
literally that, Seventh Son is great fuck what anyone says
Reminder there are no bad Iron Maiden albums.
Only good, very good and insanely good.
Shaq Fu or Superman 64, close call!
op is pleb
They don't. That album is usually praised as one of their best. Rightfully so.
Because they are plebs
Also why are all of Yea Forumss iron maiden threqds so good and Yea Forums always sucks cock.
Do we have more japs and Brazilians?
Also also why do they love iron maiden so much
i'm real ambivalent about the issue, i like di'anno's snotty punk voice for a lot of the earlier songs but i know there's absolutely no way he could hold a candle to any of the dickinson songs
go home Blaze, Virtual XI sucks ass
>Finally make it to the subway level
>Instantly get attacked from behind
>No sound cue whatsoever
>Can't even turn camera around in time to see what happened
What fucking shit level design. Dropped.
Right now it's breath of the wild but no doubt it'll be the next Zelda game when it comes out
>why Yea Forums sucks
circlejerking cunts with elitism syndrome
I like Blaze. I saw him live and they performed a bunch of Maiden songs.
Shit was dope as fuck. Fuck you, man.
brazil has a very large heavy metal/thrash/doom/stoner/black metal whatever following, they always have and always will, case in point
youtube.com
to each his own, i personally dislike his voice very much
though he isnt the why reason why x-factor and virtual xi are the worst iron maiden albums, i dont know what the fuck happened
>Paul Di Anno
He is actually a good singer, but the step that the band made when Bruce entered is what what really made them big.
Just keep playing youll find out you were the murderer in the rue morgue
>filler be thy name
Moonchild is so dope
Actually is the most favourited for the progheads.
The same thing happens with Rush fans. There are more people that prefer 2112 than Power Electronics.
Who else here is gonna be blasting iron maiden when playing classic wow to really get those wasted years back?
Im planning to revert to a 15 year old in every way.
>Only listening to Maiden on repeat
>Breaking up with my gf so its like it was then
>Going to play with my cousin who i havnt seen in years.
Its gonna be comphy
>artist shows the first draft of the cover
>BLIMEY THATS SPOOKY, ITS DONE t. maiden
>b-but its not done yet
>getting back those wasted years
>wasted years
SOOOOOOOOO
UNDERSTAAAAAND
In the case of Japan it’s they just liked anyone who was willing to perform in Japan with consistency. That’s why bands like:
Scorpions
Iron Maiden
Yngwie Malmsteen
Deep Purple
UFO
Michael Schenker Group
Ozzy
Europe
Kiss
Mr Big
were so big in Japan back in the day, where as America back then was basically:
Guns & Roses
Metallica
Motley Crue
Def Leppard
Aerosmith
Kiss
Tbh its the most unsettling and unique album cover ever
Brazilians just love metal really.
is Guns N Roses the only band in the history of music that has made only one good album and managed to stay relevant through decades with that one albums songs?
Waiting, in my cold cell.
Iron Maiden > Metallica
I like how Eddie is the only one that looks halfway normal and the people have that uncanny valley early 3D shit going on. It worked.
Cheap Trick and The Clash were also pretty big in nip land.
metal is cringe
that would be Learning to Live
metalhead elitism sure is more retarded, im glad i grew out of it by the time i turned 15
My personal favorite
>Aces High
>2 Minutes to Midnight
>Flash of the Blade
>Back in the Village (zoomers will never know what this song is about)
>P o w e r s l a v e
>Rime
>of
>the
>Ancient
>Mariner
Best album cover, to boot.
And I forgot to add Dokken too. I mean even Dokken themselves know it, when they did their original lineup reunion tour they only did 2 shows in America and the rest were all in Japan.
>Guns n Roses
>only one good album
They had three good albums. Four if you count Use Your Illusion as two separate albums.
what the fuck happened at the end of The Prisoner, hes stuck in the island for all eternity?
also that album is goty
>Rime is playing on the radio
>get out to fuel the car up
>not even halfway when I get back in
it's a good feeling
>Best album cover
*HEAVENLY LAUGHTER*
>synthsound
My memory is shit, but I only remember a bit of synth on the first song Moonchild was it? and that's it.
>best album cover
For me, it's Somewhere in Time.
>Yea Forums metal thread
Based.
For me, it’s Tales from the Twilight World
you like Sonata Arctica too?
ofc though I like most music, except rap and mediocrity
>they had to include the Powerslave pyramids

The time is also 2 minutes to midnight
>nu-maiden
>Implying nu-maiden isn't actually solid asf considering how long they've been at it
Most their stuff is actually pretty fucking good all around regardless of when it was made desu
What is Yea Forumss opinion on Andrew WK?
>its a boomer metal head music thread

that Bethesda event still gives me chuckles, just watching the audience reactions
Fuuuck yeah! I saw these guys in concert twice, my favorite fucking band.
When Di'anno joined maiden they got a record deal in three months. MTV made them big.
Newest Priest album kicks ass too.
That song is such a fucking rollercoaster. I feel tired after just listening to it.
I saw them once and I hated it. Nothing but a bunch of drunks shoving each other around and shouting over the music. Hanzi even insulted us by calling us fools after making a reference to The Raistlin Chronicles. They didn't even play Wheel of Time which they played on every other venue and was the only reason I went there that night.
it would be this
WHEN THE LIFE GIVER DIES
ALL AROUND IS LAID TO WASTE
lots of little details in that cover
Refusal to evolve. They needed to go another direction with the new singer but they refused to give up their sound, which is admirable but..... The thing that made them what they are held them back.
Starblind and Book of Souls is one of their songs tho
PLEASE TELL MY NOW WHAT LOVE IS
So what is their best song, and why is it The Clairvoyant?
I....I thought was the only one
you know its true
How do I get past Dante’s Inferno? Aka the greatest metal epic?
That’s not Killers.
*dad walks in*
>What're you listening to, son?
Rob Halford is fuckin based
hmmm I'd say it narrows down to either:
MGS2
Alpha Centauri
Deux Ex
Tetris
Super Mario World
or Ultima Online
based paulie g
>i know people who dont listen to Judas Priest cause "ROB IS GAY"
who the fuck gives a shit
Transylvania/Strange World is superior.
Time for ya'll to grow some chesthair. TONIGHT IS THE NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT
Super Mario Bros. 3 is bigger of an achievement than World
Literally the day after his announcement everyone at my school stopped wearing spikes.
Those kids who killed themselves was the final nail in the coffin though. Nobody wanted to listen to them after that.
>listen to discography of I hadn't gotten around to
>everything aside from the singles is bland and boring
actually that would be The Evil That Men do
It always bothered me that around somewhere in time the choruses became simply shouting the name of the song multiple times. Felt lazy compared to the previous writing and somewhat ruined the late 80s and 90s albums for me.
Di'Anno was good but he wouldn't have been able to keep up with the constant retooling of the sound Maiden became famous for.
yea...that shit started from the Sevent Son album, the nu-maiden songs do that shit ALOT

There is no perfect Iron Maiden album, every album has some filler songs, but if id have to pick one, Powerslave is definately the defining album with alot of their best songs
This is my favorite maiden cover for the simply fact of the skeleton smoking while sitting down like
>Fuck man this is my Unlife.
that song is goty though, best when singed live with huge audience
Absolutely based

whats your favorite song from that album? for me it would be Brighter than a Thousand Suns
My man Iron Maiden is the g.o.a.t.
Yeah, my older metalhead brother used to play it for me while turning out the lights so I could conquer my fear of the dark.
>we’re getting a new album with the original lineup of Helloween in 2019, minus Ingo (RIP)
So fucking excited.
Paul had more range than he let on. You can hear it in Strange World.
>he doesn't like 'seventh son of a seventh son' x8 followed by 'ooOooOooOoo' kino
we are not the sons of God
we are not his chosen people now
we have crossed the path he trod
we will feel the pain

They're pretty fucking mediocre when compared to everything that's come out since. Back in the 80's and early 90's they were unstoppable though.
How the fuck do I break the walls? It's impossible!
Maybe, but he was punk man to the core. He hated anything metal.
That comment wasn't directed at Maiden, actually. They might have a couple meh songs on an album but many well-regarded bands will have only a few even good songs on an album.
>brazilian chanting
based brother
It's just a shame cause I think it holds back back some otherwise top tier work of theirs.
Powerslave is unquestionably my favorite album, but it's middle portion is a little weak. I always thought peace of mind was their most consistent album.
The only good recent IM album is Brave New World.
Only for I SEE THE GHOST OF NAVIGATORS
>he didnt start from the Hangar level
git gud, that tornado will fuck you up if you dont level up
But that one has the fewest decent songs, ya goof.
Unpopular opinion: Caught Somewhere in Time is my favorite album and Deja Vu is my favorite song.
Also people shit on Blaze but besides Fear of the Dark ( the song), Fear of the Dark (the album) has probably some of their worst songs
am i a pleb for liking megadeth better than metallica?
I actually didn't mind it for seventh son, but the format was so widely used from that point on, and far more often than not the songs would have benefitted from an actual chorus.
Yeah it's Brighter than a Thousand Suns.
you forgot Childhoods End and Judas My Guide as the better songs from that album
He did have a better range but like another user said, his mindset was very Punk and Maiden's direction was practically swinging from classic heavy metal to power metal sometimes.
>recent
>Brave New World is almost 20 years old
I've got a real fucking soft spot for Flash of the Blade.
No, Megadeth is objectively better than Metallica
>Also people shit on Blaze but besides Fear of the Dark ( the song), Fear of the Dark (the album) has probably some of their worst songs
I like From Here to Eternity but I agree with the rest.
Also, I just remembered No Prayer For the Dying exists, so maybe that as well.
>that last minute of just godtier guitar soloing
WE DON'T REGRET IT
THAT SOMEONE ELSE WAS HIDDEN IN DISGUISE
GO OUT AND GET IT
ORION'S HOUND SHINES BRIGHT
Name a more kino final boss
No youre the opposite in fact.
Almost.
I wouldn't agree, but it's not an unreasonable opinion. Post 2000 Megadeth is infinitely better than Metallica's last few albums.
>bands with excessive numbers of guitarists that string solos end to end
A matter of Life and Death was pretty good.
Brighter than a Thousand Suns is Maiden Kino.
>Brave New World is almost 20 years old
No. They’re the better band. And mainly because Lars blows so hard as a drummer. You’ll never hear anything close to as good as Five Magics come from Metallica.
>got to see this shit performed live with almost the original line-up
Power Metal is too fucking based.
>The keyboardist is also the guy writing the music
>He strikes out solo
Murray > Stratton > Smith > Gers
Do none of you like Montsegur and Dance of Death?
No Prayer for the Dying is a close second in terms of bad albums but nothing will be worse then the line up of:
>Fear is the Key
>Chains of Misery
>The Apparition
>Weekend Warrior
>Wasting Love
Absolutely unlistenable songs
Paschendale is the best track on that album followed by Dance of Death and Journeyman.
genius.com
Blind Guardian is music for highly educated people. How can anyone else compete?
Montsegur is alright but the chorus is a bit too repetitive
Would Iron maiden be classed as Power Metal nowadays?
Dance of Death is great. Rainmaker and No more Lies are great singles
Both Fear is the Key and Weekend Warrior are great though. Can't you get into it if songs are too political?
I can't wait to see them live in July bros. It's gonna be my first time
>highly educated people
That's prog metal, not power metal.
>tfw only listening to folk and power metal lately
>that one album that not so subtly references a select minority of people controlling everything to the detriment of the entire world
It's both
you would think rebelling kids/metal heads would just love hearing that a metal band singer is gay just to fuck with the authority figures of parents/church of that time
I'm on the deserted avenue level and I can't beat the Sentinel. What do?
Because they were proto-power as early as Powerslave and became a lot more melodic as they went along.
Interesting pick user I can see that:)
I love his voice, it's really weird and unique. Blaze is amazing when he's doing his own thing
Whoops had a stroke
*I’d say so because
>being on the right side of history is being a pleb
Under the Ice is the better Illiad song, because it's that damn good
Metal is for children
Are you retarded?
I’ve been burnt out on Power Metal. Besides bands like Excalion, Falconer, and Persuader because the vocals are unique.
Nah, prog is a whole 'nother level, pulling the best bits of every other genre into a blend of theoretical brilliance and fascinating variety with just as much driving force as any power metal.
>that jammy Tears of the Dragon guitar solo
best 30 seconds ive ever heard, so fucking good
I don't care what the songs are about, those songs just suck. The breakdown in the middle of Fear is terrible and Weekend Warrior reminds me of an opening for a shitty Walker Texas Ranger show on USA or something
>Falconer
based

whats with mongolians and metal music, theres shitton of bands from finngolia

Remember when Henry Rollins got so btfo by Brazilian Iron Maiden fans that he wrote a hacky stand up bit about it?
You don't have to. Guy is legitimately happy he's been able to front some of the greatest bands on the planet.
Did you recruit the Green Manalishi? He needs the Two-Pronged Crown to do do any damage but once you've got that set up it's piss easy.
Book of Thel is goty
lol thrash and power are inherently progressive due to the musical roots that led to their creation
He got it better than richard christy at least. He had to take a guy's balls to his face for a living.

He sounds so fucking mad.
He likes gundam and made a tribute album so he's good in my book. I liked I get wet when I was like 14 or so
Nah. Been an Iron Maiden fan probably before you were even born. They have had constant ups and downs ever since the late 80s. In the last 30 years since Seventh Son they only had one great album: Brave New World. The rest had 1-2 good songs here and there.
The Book of Souls is the Load of Iron Maiden. I tried to give it a chance, or maybe myself by trying to listen to it 5-6 times in hopes it might click. Now I only listen to it when I'm constipated and need to take a long, painful shit.
Steve Harris steering this band into this overindulgence of overlong theatrical ballads for the past 10 years, where he tries to up the playtime of each song just for the sake of it has only done harm to the band. It also absolutely ruins the concerts imo, because that certain frantic "BE QUICK OR BE DEAD" atmosphere of the early Maiden albums that pumps the audience up with each song just never comes through.
If you want to visit an Iron Maiden concert these days don't forget to pop some valium pills. It's dreadful all around.
I fucking love Blazon Stone. So high energy. Fire the Cannons and No Return from Hell are some of my favorite songs
My point is that calling prog metal better than what's essentially melodic prog metal is a bit silly.
I'm just going to leave this here.
But people remember Christy. They know what he’s done.
Tim is just THAT GUY who sang on Priests(arguably) worst albums and Iced Earths worst album while playing for other forgettable shit.
Never was a huge fan of Running Wild so I kind of ignored Blazon Stone.
hol up, there was maiden songs in this?!

I was never a huge Maiden fan until I heard Aces High for the hundredth time and decided to dig into their work.
Why? I thought he was doing well for himself.
You are neglecting the scale and devaluing the word. Progress was made in the developing of subgenres, of course, but nowhere near the level of what actually gets labeled as progressive. Prog is called prog because it varies so much and intermittently pulls from so many disparate sources as to defy unification under a new named genre.
Yes, yes. Well done, western metal... HOWEVER
*final boss blocks your path*

He sang on their best albums you shit fuck get some taste
I liked Metallica more as a kid and teenager. I grew to prefer Megadeth as an adult. Nowadays I can only ever listen to Metallica up to And Justice for All. Everything else is unbearable MTV schmalz and abloo blooing about muh alcoholism.
Cliff Burton was the heart and soul of the band.
that would be Tintin
NIGHTCRAWLER
BEWARE THE BEAST IN BLACK
He’s currently joined like 2 bands that released boring ass songs.
And when he joins popular bands those albums get trashed.
Even his own band released some boring shit.
Like his shit isn’t even bad. Theyre just forgettable and dull.
why Lars sucks as a drummer, why is he still in the fucking band
This. Metallica's first three albums are the only ones worth a shit these days. Beyond Magnetic was alright but they haven't been able to recapture that magic since Cliff died.
People found this funny?
I liked those albums. But most people didn’t so that’s why I brought them up.

Any album with Battery is bad. What a shitter of a song.
I enjoyed the final frontier and book of souls but christ someone needs to walk into the studio and hit Harris with a brick and say “songs done, it’s been 6 minutes”
The alchemist from Final Frontier is one of my favorite songs off that album and it’s 4 minutes+ long
Megadeth had some bad years but it seems to be back to form. Metallica is just boring. I hate the dad rock meme but every time i hear them it just sounds like dad rock.

Is this some sort of post-ironic masterpiece?
You are a retard if you don't think Metallica and Guns and roses were not bigger than any of the bands you named in japan.
You are a faggot that thinks happy metal is manly when Manowar were just one step below Motley crue when it comes to shittyness. There's a reason why no one takes them seriously, even Angra and Strato had been more influential. Manowarfags are either teens that think metal makes them part of a tribe, or manchildren that can't go past entry level melodic happy shit.

That's not Stranger in a Strange Land though
Always wondered why this guy's vocals are so underrated.
youtube.com
Saw them in 2017. Still as great as ever I see.
It's a shame the band setlist sucks so much live, currently they play the same shit in every date of their tours so the songs they are playing are the same, last time i went to see them was during the 7th son anniversity tour, they didn't play INFINITE FUCKING DREAMS. The fanbase of maiden seems to be happy with Bruce running around like a retard singing Run to the Hills again instead of trying to actually dig into their massive catalog. The sad thing about dickinson, is that he still has a great voice, but he insists on doing a "show" when he clearly it's getting to old to both RUN and sing, i want him singing, not playing around with a flag anymore. IMO The Clairvoyant and stuff like Alexander or wasted love should replace shit that he can barely sing anymore like Aces high.
Manowar were good on their first album. Typical to say, but it's true. Songs like Shell Shock were hard, the demo version. Crue were alright. But again, first album and Shout era only, everthing from 1986 to present has been Hard Rock Metal. Nothing wrong with that.
Metal killed itself, man. It's greatest strength (hardest, fastest, most skilled, most brutal) was its biggest weakness. It became so rigid, it got rigormotis. I still love it, though, even the newer shit.
yup, only time ive seen them do a good set list is rock in rio
My favorites. But NotB with DiAnno wouldn't've worked. Metal changed in 82'. You can hear it. Everyone followed the Heaven and Hell sound. No way DiAnno could've hacked it in the direction the Maiden was going in. If Maiden got even heavier towards thrash influences, however, he would've been at home, imo. But nwobhm bands rarely did that.
They were so close with the LotB setlist. Where Eagles Dare, Clansman, Revelations, Sign of the Cross and Flight of Icarus were great additions, just needed to drop a few songs like Run to the Hills, Iron Maiden (although sadly they'll never drop that one), 2MTM, Wicker Man and Trooper for something a bit more fresh. Hallowed and FotD will never get old for me so they can stay. I'd love for them to delve into Somewhere in Time a bit more, maybe open with CSiT, Stranger in a Strange Land somewhere in there. Just something that isn't Wasted Years or god forbid, Heaven Can Wait. It is a shame that they have so many classics that don't see the light of day so they can play 2MTM, Trooper, etc for the thousandth time.
Who the hell underrates his vocals. It's like 95% of what people like about him.
If dickinson wasn't a prick the "legacy of the beast" tour could have 3 singers, just like Helloween's Pumkin united tour. But between Bruce being egotistical and Paul being both a dick and a criminal that will never happen. Blaze was the good guy all along
Heaven can wait was literally designed so it could be played live and people could sing along though.
Rime of the ancient mariner never
Fear of the Dark has 4 shit songs, 4 ok songs, and 4 songs that rock my fucking socks off.
Sure Wasting Love eats, but you got Fugitive and Chains of Misery coming right up.
I liked Virtual XI
It sucks he's been relegated to pub circuit
Big on Avril too
I'll give yu that one
Dance of death is good too, shit album art though
THERE'SATIMETOLIVEANDATIMETODIEWHENIT'STIMETOMEETYOURMAKER
Found a Japanese power metal band called Anthem a little while ago and they're surprisingly good.
>Also people shit on Blaze
It's Brucefags, they are retarded, all the problems with his albums come from the rest of the band, and the live setlists, he can sing the shit out of Dianno''s songs and can do great Dickinson ones, But maiden songwriting was weak in virtual XI and they refused to change the tune. This is cheating since it's rumored many of the songs from Brave new world were actually done with Blaze in mind (with based Gers saying someone wasn't credited and then that there was a problem with the credits in that album). youtube.com
I mean I don't hear anybody talking about him except on videos of his songs and stuff like that. Not even a passing mention. Hell, I only ran into someone on Yea Forums who even knew who he was a few weeks ago.
>Gloryhammer
Gonna check out Gloryhammer this year in KC. Sad I missed them last year with Alestorm.
The problem wasnt Blaze, was Harris and the lack of Smith.
Such a fantastic trilogy, the only bad blaze album since 2004 was KoM, but every other album has been better than anything maiden has done since Dance of Death.

How THE FUCK do I beat him!?
I'm tempted to go to that one just because they have Beast in Black supporting

Gone, but not forgotten.
Best metallica video along with Until it Sleeps.
>When the villains of the game fuse to form the final boss.
That depends, do you like Metallica too? You're only a pleb if you feel like you have to pick one band over the other. Megadeth has the more technical sound, but Hetfield for sure has the better voice. Both bands have some pretty shit material, but both also have some great albums. Killing is my Business and ...And Justice for All are two of my favorite albums.
im the only one who gives a shit about follow the blind?
Kinda want to see them again. Playing just down the street from me in August but the zoomers faux-moshing is cancer and the non GA sections at the venue are 100+ bucks.
Blaze era songs with Bruce on vocals are great.

Bruce is just so overpowered. Doesn't matter if with or without Maiden.

How are they in concert. Do they do anything over the top?
Vahalla was based
Bayley's operatic style fits those better
>23:58
Not really. They have cool videos playing but kind of pedestrian when we saw them last Summer. The set also kind of meandered from their more chill stuff to Murder of the Universe stuff. Still recommend seeing them live if you get the chance, it was a really good show despite my nitpicks. I'm just getting to be too much of an old shut in for shirtless """""dancing"""" with a bunch of zoomers on mdma.
no idea wtf Iron Maiden is, but the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical is amazing.
>there are people who prefer awake to falling into infinity
>based Yea Forums heavy metal thread
>Yea Forums /metal/ generals full of black and death metal trash
Being a trad metal fan is suffering, never leave me guys
I don't think anything Megadeth put out could ever compare to the fucking dumpster fire that was Lulu.
They are all inferior to the originals. That man on the edge is pretty shitty, his lord of the flies was pathetic, too happy. His Clansman is pretty good, but his sign of the cross is pretty bad, great concert tho.
But Blaze is way better with his material, most songs are meant to be darker and heavier. Just like i don't want Blaze singing the duellists i would hate Bruce on this song, it's too heavy for dickinson

Lulu wasn't a metallica album.
amount of such stuff on this cover is insane, there's:
- icarus (flight of icarus)
- pyramids and eye of ra (powerslave)
- early iron maiden poster
- "ancient mariner seafood restaurant"
- "phantom opera hause"
- "aces high bar"
- "long beach area" where they recorded 'live after death'
Lets not get ahead of ourselves here.
Supercollider wasn't great and the only song they have since 2010 that I'd go out of my way to listen to is public enemy no 1, whereas Metallica got back into form with hardwired.
>All this arguing back and forth over covers
>No live version of When Two Worlds Collide, and there never will be one
Shame
Megadeth got back with Dystopia
When the Wild Wind Blows is objectively one of the best songs they have ever done.
I agree, Supercollider was inferior to Hardwired, dystopua was fine, but still not that good
Yeah, but i can't say the same about almost anything else they had done since Dance. Book was a pretty meh album and that sucks.
Bigger boards are usually good at talking about anything BUT their topic.
It's decent, but there aren't any songs that really got me, and nothing in the same tier as rust in peace, cryptic writings, or so far so good
Since Dance of Death is only 3 albums, and Final Frontier did have some really good songs, I wasn't huge on isle of avalon, or mother of mercy, but Starblind is really good, as is the alchemist and I have a bit of a soft spot for Man Who would be King
Absolutely fucking based
Lots of hidden references.

>pretty much the only thing they did in the eight fucking year gap between dm and hardwired
may as well have been
they had a song called Lords of SUmmer which as been pretty forgotten
Will he ever be topped?
Still not a metallica album, not even Reed's fans think matallica is to blame for how much of a mess that album was. Dio's tribute and the deep purple cover had better sound, i have no idea what went wrong but it was so stupid and is a shame Reed's latest years were stained by that shit
There's better bassist and better songwriters than him.
How do I beat the Manticore?
