is the ogre seriously a casual filter? i haven't checked sekiro threads at all in the first few days because i didn't want any spoilers.
ogre was so easy i didn't even notice he was a mini boss.

I just want to ask the "Souls" community a question.

How many of you guys are overweight, close to 30 or over, never had a hard workday in their lives and think this silly game is some sort of proof of diligence?

Sekiro, Bloodborne, Demon's Souls, and Dark Souls 1 are all good in their own unique ways. Sekiro has it's combat, Bloodborne its art direction, Demon's Souls its atmosphere and uniqueness, and Dark Souls 1 its interconnected world. Its hard for me to pick one over the others for me.
Dark Souls 3 is completely uninspired and Dark Souls 2 is nearly unplayably bad, honestly if anything Sekiro just proves again that From should make each game like this a new IP with a new world and theme and not bother with sequels at all.

I can agree but it was overall a good game with some really good bosses. I never played BB but if I did id probably hold DS3 to a lower regard because it does seem to use a lot of assets or similar assets to BB.

All Fromsoft games are the same. Only idiots who just rush in and start attacking wildly find them difficult. If you actually take the time to learn the mechanics they're piss easy.

Sekiro is objectively the anti-casual. It is physically impossible for casuals to beat even the ogre, let alone the game itself. Compare Dark Souls, where casuals consistently win every encounter simply by utilizing cheese crutch strategies.

The clean and crisp and very regal setting of Ashina Castle and the serene mountainscapes and bamboo foliage combined with the deathly dance of difficult as shit katana combat makes you feel like you are in one of the Samurai trilogy movies.

Aĺl of the games have their strenghts and weaknesses and while I personally think that BB, Sekiro and DS1 form the top 3 of From's lineup, it boils down to personal preference a lot. BB and especially Sekiro are very focused so the people who are into that niche will love it while others might not be so enthused about them. I'm loving Sekiro but will probably never fully stop playing BB or the traditional Souls games.

BB easily has the best atmosphere. I give respect to Demon's Souls with the shit it had to crawl through to be noticed and appreciated, but dont act as if they havent gotten better over the years.
