Define hard. I mean, SMB is pretty hard for example but since you restart levels very quickly and have infinite lives I'd argue it's not that hard. Niche game modes where you're not allowed to take any damage or only have one life are probably the hardest challenges in video games, but does that count or are we looking at the default game mode?
