What consequence does article 13 have on gaming?

Wait, Japan and Russia don't have earth on their plugs ?
earthing is a meme.
Unless you're running a plasma generator.
Not much really. Even the doomsayers couldn't really say it affects videogames.
Denmark is cute
Its kind of important for not getting your computer killed during power outage.

Worth bearing in mind that since 95% of plugs and electrical items made in the last 20 years are double-faulted anyway, I don't know but perhaps they don't bother because its pretty unnecessary now.
Or the earth runs through a part on one of the pins? No idea if that's even possible. I'm sure one of you assholes masturbates to plugs and will tell us.
>earthing is a meme.
Why would that kill
What the fuck is article 13?
>earthing is a meme.
A-user...
>seriously believing this
Unless your computer gets hit lightning directly, it literally does nothing.
Yank open your power cable and see where that shit connected.

Are isolator switches common in most countries?
The old method in Japan was to have an grounding post on your plugs for washing room and kitchen appliances. There would be an extra cable with the power cable that you would screw onto the ground post.
Nowadays, they have a new plug that includes ground.
New EU law that requires all websites to pay money to copyright holders for any content posted on the site, so like whoever took the photo in can sue Yea Forums because they allowed the photo to be posted.
The pro-13 crowd said it's not a big deal because websites can just set up filters to block copyrighted content from being uploaded in the first place.
It won't affect video games at all, because that's not what the law is about. It will, however, slam any website that allows users to post content pretty hard. The irony is that the entire law was about taking google and Facebook down, but since google and Facebook are the only ones with a filter strong enough to comply, everyone will have to use Google or Facebook's filtering software to comply with article 13. No one ever accused the EU of being smart though.
Sounds like a load of fucking nothing
UK plug best plug.

>The pro-13 crowd said it's not a big deal because websites can just set up filters to block copyrighted content from being uploaded in the first place.
Only doomers against article 13 are saying there will be filters.
Kind of. It just goes to show that eventually the people in power will get whatever they want pushed through even if they have to keep pushing it.
Why is this shit not standardized?
>what are you gonna call it when there's electricity in mars then? marsed? marsing?
>North America
Just looked at the plugs around me and they look like the German ones. So either fake or old news in that picture
t. russian
because chad euros have the highest voltage
Australian>British>>>>>>>>every inset plug>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>US
US plugs are literally trash, your whole power system is trash infact, 100v and dangerous amperage.
British is good but fuses are a meme now, and it's giant.
Australia's is perfect. The plugs are round so they don't lay flat to get stepped on. They are easy to put in without looking, they never fall out. They are still relatively compact, without being too small like the shitty, loose US ones. The prongs are strong and are much harder to bend.
This pic is outdated, Russia uses German plug design now.
>the chad block
>image shows American plugs have the grounding socket
What's it like being literally retarded?
german a best
best for getting stabbed in the foot in the middle of the night perhaps
tl;dr it's youtube style copyright filters for every website period
>US plug
>having ground below the prongs
>coin falls inbetween phase and neutral
>shorts out and burns your house down
every website already asks me to consent to cookies as if they will rape me.
NuInternet can suck a dick.
I don't think you understand what earthing is user
>Earth wire AND a fuse.
>France
Where did it all go so wrong?
>Leaving shit laying on the ground
Shouldn't be a disgusting slob.
I'd rather have the fuse in the plug as a safety measure in extremis than not have it.
Japanese plugs only have two prongs but they work surprisingly well even though there is mostly no switches either.
Richard I and his actions which led to the collapse of the Angevin Empire.
It’s just the danish one but smaller and angrier, it works well for space too.
>The plugs are round so they don't lay flat to get stepped on
>Australians are so clumsy and retarded they step on their plugs
Holy shit
>techdirt
Libertarian fake news bullshit site. Any time there is any semblance of regulation they whine about how the sky is falling.
You shills are always amusing. How will a website comply without filters?
This question is fun, because the answer is always basically "The law doesn't require filters so it's not a problem."
You're right, the law doesn't require a filter. It just requires you to determine whether or not something has a copyright before you allow it to be posted. So you just need to have enough staff on hand to manually review every image/video/audio clip posted to your site to make sure it isn't covered by copyright or make sure it's part of a publisher you pay a license to.
So basically, to comply, Yea Forums would just need to hire a few thousand copyright experts to review every image posted. See? The law doesn't require a filter!
I'd rather not pay extra for all my appliances and have giant, unwieldy plugs, for absolutely no gain.
>tfw americans don't have enough voltage to heat up some water
