Agreed. But giving credit where it's due - later DoM patches will add Scenarios and new Continual game maps with Milestones.
Played DoM 'til I've completed the first 10 milestones in Continental dawn.
On a side note, I was very disappointed about the discontinuation of Facepunch's Before game, which was to be set in the Ice Age.

By the way, did you know that Neolithic will have some pretty bad arsed AI like that of Rimworld?

I haven't really seen or read much about it apart from the initial trailers and some of the images on twitter about the map of europe through the ages.
Mostly just hoping they implement more art and culture than DoM did cause it felt rather lacking in that part though that might be cause I somehow chose to weigh both games in that regard against Pre Dynastic Egypt which is an entirely different game.
