>turn-based strategy with grid movement
>that you navigate on the top screen using the analog nub with shooter/strafe movement

It's baffling. Is this game the pinnacle of Nintendo's "we can't do something the same as everything else" mentality, where they couldn't content themselves with already doing something as niche as an Xcom-like and had to go even further beyond by making sure the way they implemented everything was completely flat-out wrong? This game is at best a better-than-you'd-expect tolerable waste of time if you compare it to a mountain of shovelware. But fucking Intelligent Systems made it. Just...how
Turn-based strategy with grid movement
good music
MUST'VE
well okay there's that
Reminder that this game died for the sin of not being the Majora's Mask remake announcement, which was confirmed later anyway and also garbage.
CODENAME S.T.E.A.M. is great.
This. I hate MMfags so much.
Those people are lucky they didn't buy it
It still deserved better than it got.
the game was good it just needed wario on the cover or something
>mfw the preorder bonus was a Majora's Mask pin
it has Lovecraft AND Fire Emblem together
THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING.
>tfw this game had online multiplayer
>most unbalanced multiplayer ever
I legitimately can't believe they spent resources on that mode for this game. I legitimately love CNS.....just why......
>Henry Fleming is a spirit in Smash Ultimate
>but he's just a bad support
Well, there's music from the game, too. Can't say I expected that.
and theres an original remix on top of the fire emblem themes from this game, still surprised they made a nod to Codename Steam. Rest in peace this dumb game that had Lincoln kill Lovecraft aliens with American literary characters from Zorro to The Wizard of Oz, I had alot of fun despite its premise and comic graphics
I got a copy for free with my N3DS, and I never played it because I heard Wil Wheaton is in it. Ended up giving it away.
II wasn't sure about it until they revealed the japanese robot. Then revealed it was the goddamn woodman.
Also Dorothy is cute as hell.
It makes up for her being shit tier. I'd try using her on multiplayer whether 3ds or Citra but its dead last time I checked
This game was surprisingly kickass, the style was neat, and the humor and music were great too.
Needed more enemy variety though.
the variety was there in terms of function, but visually they look too similar with only their weak points standing out
