If you arrange the PS2/XBOX/GC by how many definitive versions of games they had, Xbox would have more good games than PS2. PS2's library was full of downgraded gimped ports. While Xbox had the original definitive versions of pretty much every multiplat. PS2 had more exclusives, and they were really good exclusives, but it was an exclusive machine, it's pretty much all the PS2 had. And Xbox has a lot of niche underrated exclusives as well that get overlooked. But really, if you wanted to play a multiplat, and you owned a PS2 and Xbox, you'd buy it for Xbox. PS2's shitty framerate, blurry textures, lower res in some cases, removal of lighting, lower polygonal models, the fact levels were cut up with loading zones, and the fact that some games had levels redesigned, stripped down and simplified entirely so they could run on a PS2 was just shameful. There were many multiplats that were outright bad games on PS2, but were fantastic masterpieces on Xbox.

PS2 has digital RGB on the board, just solder in some cheap HDMI transmitter to serialize it and if you don't have a shitty TV that doesn't support 480i via HDMI you're good to go.

No it wouldn't. Almost every good exclusive it had got a HD port for PS3/PS4. All the best versions of all it's multiplats are already available on PC/Xbox/GC. What you are left with are a handful of exclusives and a shitload of shovelwear. And then why wouldn't you just emulate those.
