Best is probably alexandrite dragon or megalosmasher x. Both are 2000 attack 4star monsters. Megalosmasher is probably better because dinosaur is a better type than dragon at the moment due to the amount of generic dinosaur support as well as good synergy with rescue rabbit.

You summon them to your opponent's field by tributing one of their monsters as a cost. This means that they can't do anything to prevent their monster being tributed, as it's the cost and not an effect removing it, and not even an effect summon but an inherent summon (if memory serves).
They all have effects that can eat Kaiju Counters from their Field Spell to do things.
Also, if your opponent controls a Kaiju, you can play one from your hand for free.

granted the card pool was much more limited then than it is today, obviously, but a 2000 atk no tribute monster with no drawbacks was nothing but a legend at that time, 1900 was for no tributes was also rare in only vorce raider and gemini elf. thunder nyan nyan was also rare but viable when fsd was a common archetype. regardless, things like summoned skull and CTA were just too strong to pass up even if they fit your deck or not
i vividly remember the backlash of XYZ dragon cannon being the easiest fusion monster to summon without using polymerization, though i always thought that card and its parts were cool as hell

Vennominaga herself is actually a really strong card even by today's standards considering it was printed in 2007, it's immune to almost everything, revives itself for a low cost and it's pretty easy to dump Reptiles into the GY. The problem is that she's very difficult to summon

The deck relies on a trap card that nukes your field if your opponent destroys it, so DM is kind of a laughingstock. Blue-Eyes is the nostalgia deck that you want to look at. They built it specifically to take down what was meta that year, so it naturally went on to win the world championship.

"Dies to removal" is an expression normally used to convey the resources used for the end result is not worth it. Paying 5 mana for a creative that gets blown out by bolt better win if it untaps, or have an effect that's already good. The best I can describe it in yugioh is you ever see that webm where Jaden like fuses some hero, then plays defusion and tributes the material to normal summon Neos? He burned through 4 cards to summon a 2500 beater with no effects and no protection, meaning Jaden can get 5 for 1'd by something as basic as bottomless trap hole. He'd be dead in the water.
Pic related is something where "dies to removal" does not apply. You already got your card, you got your energy, who cares if it dies? That's one less removal spell for something you care about.

Yeah exactly. When Magic players say "Dies to removal" they typically mean the most powerful removal in the format. Things like Tasigur, the Golden Fang or Gurmag Angler are highly valued in a lot of decks because they don't die to either Fatal Push or Lightning Bolt, the two most efficient kill spells in the format.

I meant god awful mechanics and terribly done complexity. Complexity isn't a good attribute on it's own, when you're taking your time to read a wall of text it's far from right. Complexity is done right when it arises from a well constructed set of rules that feel like second nature in context and doesn't go against the pace of the game (it could be more complex if you had to solve one differential equation so you can play a card but it doesn't have a place in a card game)
it's some sort of "EFFICIENCY" of complexity (take Chess and Go as the masters of this).
Keywords on Hearthstone work amazingly good, and effects are so succinct and creative I enjoy building decks as much as playing them, I'm sure I'm not the only one.
