Ten years. As in ten years after Sonic was introduced to the world and the Mario/Sonic mascot wars began.
Ironically, this video was made after Sega went third party and Sonic games had been released on Nintendo systems.
Looking back on it, it's not a great video it was lopsided as fuck with some pretty clear bias in sprite edits and the branching victory animations, but we were all just dumb kids who liked dumb edgy shit back then.
That said, I'll always have a soft spot for Rise of the Mushroom Kingdom.
