Sekiro isn't clunky its more janky at its worst but either way if you think its a masterpiece that means you're ignoring the shitty normal enemies , level design for the most part and mini bosses that are shallow mini game tier borefests.

There are like 3-4 good bosses most just mediocre and a handful of atrocious ones. Its a 7/10 game and that is being generous with 1 point or so.

Other than Bayonetta 2 I can't think of anything from 2014. 2013 to most people was just BioShhock Infinite, TLOU and GTA V. The first two outright suck and GTA V is decent. I think that 2014, 2013 and 2006 were easily the worst years in gaming in my lifetime.
MGS is honestly overrated to me. I find it too cinematic. OoT and FO2 are great, but overall I liked 2017 more than 1998. Hell, I think 2001 was better than 1998. 1998 was good though, best year of the decade.

Its really not. Its different ill give you that but that webm isn't impressive the first few moments are a issue if you're shit but after taking out one of the two close to you its easy. All normal enemy encounters are extremely easy in Sekiro besides maybe those dudes with twin blades in monk town and they aren't much of a problem unless you let yourself get ganked by multiple of them.

Sekiro is like a poor mans action game with the difficulty of one on somewhere between hard and very hard. If we're talking Ninja Gaiden either normal or hard. But without all the diverse tactics beyond stun stun stun stun loops and parry being the main mechanic and not just a single mechanic in an array of weapons and tools.

DaS1/BB are better off the soul fact of content being better even if the combat is sloppier. But you don't care. I did that. Coming off the pants-shittingly hard difficulty of Critical Zero EXP KH2FM, Proud level 1 felt like a fucking cakewalk. The only fights I even kinda felt challenged on were Anti-Aqua, the underwater sequence in the final boss, and the secret fight. Everything else maybe required 2-3 tries at most before I figured out their retarded attack patterns.

You could beat that turtle when you were severely underleveled because the game had infinite healing items forever. Tentacle rape monster in the swamp at least required you to level because there was a time limit. Endgame dungeons were all right, but the enemies got samey after a while. That specific boss does illusion attacks in the second phase and if you are smart enough to get outside it and just notice him sitting in the middle of the bridge, you are rewarded. (If you stay down on the bridge he's invisible.)

That boss is one of the easiest in the game though, since the final phase can also be cheesed out with firecrackers.

Most bosses have some shit hitboxes.
for example enen early on the ogre creates hit boxes on its feet before it even kicks & the Shinobi hunter has some overly wide spear hit boxes.

the hitboxes in Sekiro are wildly inconsistent. Some of them are really tight and well designed, alot of them are DS2 tier shockwaves and magnetic teleporting grabs which just scream lazy and unfair.

Honestly seems like the game was designed by 100 different people living in different countries with no unifying vision for the game. Miyazaki had a good run but i think he's done.

It's shit. I'm basing this on DMD. Melee enemies can't do anything to you're in the air and ranged enemies have extremely long cast times for attacks. All of them are subjected to the camera aggression system, which is the most lenient it's every been. Most enemies just shut off when you're not looking at them. They take too long to get in your view and take too long to start attacking. Enemy DT is still trash. Just damage reduction and more damage. No extra moves after SoS. DMC1 gave all enemies ranged attacks and that was against 1Dante. This game has iframes out of it's ass compared to DMC1.

It's an issue since it's pathetic compared to his previous characterization. He was a megalomaniac because he thinks it will cover for his trauma. It's why he keeps asking why Dante doesn't seek out power. He doesn't even want to beat Dante in 3. He even dodges Dante's question about power since he, himself, doesn't know the answer to what he's going to do after getting Sparda's powers. That's depth. His motivation in 5 is Vergin tier of motivation from DmC's Vergin's downfall. Abadonment issues and an inferiority complex.
