I'd rather wait and see. Because it's always a gamble with these things. It may be pretty cool emulation-wise, like Nintendo offerings, mediocre, like Neo Geo mini, of outright terrible, like PlayStation Mini. Who knows? Though I'd like to have this one as trinket to put on a shelf.

Genesis has been licensing mini-Genesis systems to AtGames to create well fucking before the NES Classic was a thing.

Vampire Killer is Bloodlines, but yeah there's a lot of glaring omissions so far. Hopefully the other 30 games will fill in some of those gaps.

They only announced the first ten games. They have 40 planned in the final release, and you will be able to play all region variants as well (JP, EU, USA).

Does the Genesis even have anything worth playing? I only had one friend who had one (divorced dad), and I tried to play it a few times and it was crap. Mostly just sports/fighting games, like the SNES's edgier brother with worse graphics and sound. Never understood the appeal of Sonic, it seems more like course memorization than platforming

Nobody can ever fuck up as badly as sony did. I mean they already had the PSTV which has a build in PS1 emulator and they have the PSN which sells you PS1 roms which would be an ideal way to milk people by selling you "PS classic games" to expand the llibrary.
