Goddamn is that remix fantastic. Say what you will about Final Remix but the music additions were 10/10.

Reminder that Beat had to, in order:
>deal with being the unfavorite in his family compared to his sister
>die in an attempt to save said sister in a car accident (and winds up getting her killed as well)
>watch his little sister die again with her sacrificing herself to save him from a Noise shark
>join up with the Reapers in an attempt to restore Rhyme back to normal only to get told that he has to kill Neku in order to prove his loyalty to the Reapers
>be unable to kill Neku anyway due to him showing kindness towards Beat and giving him Rhyme’s pendant
>gets told that he’ll die in five days due to not accumulating points in his time as a Reaper and almost fades away from existence on the last day
>has to watch Rhyme die AGAIN but this time in her Noise form and is forced into a wild goose chase in order to get her back from Konishi
>gets trapped in the place that he and Rhyme died in and is constantly reminded of his fuck-ups
>is forced to deal with the possible revelation that due to Rhyme not winning the game in the first place, she’ll lose her Entry Fee forever and subsequently be unable to ever remember him
>gets an emotional kick to the balls from Konishi with her revealing that Rhyme’s memories was HIS Entry Fee and that hers was something else, flat out implying that she never loved him and mindfucking with him
>gets shat on by everyone
And as of New Day
>has to watch a fake version of Rhyme die AGAIN
>has to watch Neku die AGAIN and be unable to do shit about it

Even a sequel is shit, I'd want it anyway for a new soundtrack. Shock's me that TWEWY's OST isn't more universally appraised, but then again it shocks me that the game is so niche in general.

I love TWEWY but it’s not that surprising that it’s pretty niche.
>heavily stylized Japanese aesthetic
>unique control scheme that normalfags won’t be able to adjust to
>not that much marketing from Square Enix
>Neku’s attitude in the beginning putting people off (though that’s the entire point of his character arc)
That said, it’s a shame that the game doesn’t get more attention.
