>he doesn't know
OP, I almost feel sorry for you.

>he doesn't know
user... I...

>he doesn't know

The fuck are you on about? It's just a couple hours until the offline KSL qualifiers start with hours upon hours of finnclick 0.5 beta

>he doesn't know

>I know, but he doesn't

Tastetosis this time?

>He doesn't know

Tournaments happen, but where tf is the people online? In the eu there are around 300players on the average and the 200 are the same smurfs that lurk 24/7

RapidRegret

Actually I don't know

>>he doesn't know

No Regret solo baby

Don't play with my heart like that. You almost killed me.

Channel? Time? I want to watch some BW.

>remastered
Why? What was wrong with the old game?

wrong starcraft game OP

The resolution. The remaster is actually really good, they changed almost nothing.

>I want to watch
i really hate blizzfags

Yea good thing me,you and 10 people more are aware of the tournaments. What happened to the rest of the people?

You can enjoy spectating challenging games you don't play, user.

Fuck off already OP, Koreatime gets good and long threads here every time. You are just a fag, accept it.

Nope I just want to play online. I dont want to wait 5mins+ to find a noob on my rank and instead, to get a player 2-3ranks above mine

The only way to generate interest at this point would be to host real tournaments.

is there a casting duo anywhere close to comfy as tastosis?

i feel bad for anyone that gets paired with either tasteless or artosis, it always looks like they're standing in and trying hard too hard to seem cool. most of the time it's just unwatchable for me.

did they fix the MP issues?

not that i'll ever play MP, since I'm not korean.

Yea I do love watching them, but they do nothing to generate popularity for the game. Its like a show for the hardcore fans. Also the trophy prices are way to small(arourd 1000bucks i think) considering how hard the game is to play. Im always talking about ouside korea where the game is nonexistent to the mainstream

Money prizes is what gets people to practice. It's not going to be fast but you're essentially going to have new players from scratch. Without a prizepool there's no reason not to play other games.

If you talking about lag issues, yes they have been fixed. The majority of your games will be playing smoothly, considering you have a standard internet connection. However the matchmaking will be an issue, since there are not that many ppl playing other than oldfags with smurf accounts so expect to come across them pretty often

Well yeah I agree but is 1000dollars worth learning a game with carpal syndrome inducing, lightning skill level? They need a bigger price pool in order to motivate the players. Keep in mind that Broodwar is the harderst esport out there

>Well yeah I agree but is 1000dollars worth learning a game with carpal syndrome inducing, lightning skill level?
It is if you're hosting one regularly.
>They need a bigger price pool in order to motivate the players. Keep in mind that Broodwar is the harderst esport out there
They're going to start out playing against people who aren't top tier, just trying to prove who's best in the region. The game is only as hard as the competition.

Don't underestimate how much a regular prize pool will motivate people. A lot of talented players start out truly poverty tier. They have all that free time to grind out a game and they're hungry for every scrap of money they can get.

SC2 is better

Sure a small prize pool ia better than nothing, but Im sure that if they want to go pro, there might be other competitive games with bigger prize pools and easier to learn in their area, why not go after them. Also other than small tournaments, brood war has nothing else in the west. If you prove to be a bw talent, prepare to have your ass handed to you by the korean in their tournaments. I still insist that bw needs a bigger pool in order to turn more heads. Blizzard could have made more skins as people demand them, and gather a good prize pool but fuck, this is not the bluzzard we knew. It handles this remaster like shit since its release and literally did nothing to bring new blood into thia game to keep it alive.

Artosis is going to be casting. Probably Rapid joining like last time.

You know as a SC2 player I think not. At first it look outdated, but if you spend time with both games you will realize that BW is better. I was mainly playing SC2 without even touching BW. After the remaster got released, I gave it a try and fell in love with it. I prefer BW more than SC2 now.

Rapid is alright when Artosis is there to reign him in.

Artosis stated on his Twitter that he will be casting with Cadenzie. Kind of curious because I've never seen this chick in action before.

I'm hype

>Cadenzie
Bruh I can't hear what the fuck she's saying, she must be nervous as hell

Is it on? Why isn't anyone posting a link?

twitch.tv/starcraft

Where the fuck else would it be?

IS THIS THE KOREA TIME THREAD??
CADENZIE CASTING?

Someone needs to tell her to speak up

My thread got archived too fast

Was he about to fucking cry?

I guess it is by default lol

oh I started a thread for the qualifiers, I didn't see there was one up already. Do we just wanna stay in this thread?

Cadenzie's mic sounds a bit better now, I think they turned her up but she's s still a bit quiet.

>Do we just wanna stay in this thread?
Probably not a good idea since people won't know something is going on just by seeing the OP.

Agreed.

Op here, gonna catch up with you and the tournament later, its too late to watch it live

BW is better to watch
