There are better games.
Especially prettier ones on cheaper consoles, too.

Weak bait.

>Best combat.
WW/TP
>Best traversal.
Sure.
>Best overworld
MM
>Three amazing dungeons.
None of them are as good as MM's dungeons.
>Most towns and they're comfy
Sure.
>Great side quests ignoring fetch-quest ones.
MM's are better and there's very little incentive to do non-shrine quests.
>Great soundtrack.
While the sound design is underrated, it's by no means great.
>the only truly significant weakpoints are low enemy variety, samey dungeon/shrine appearance and balancing (wep durability, food, lategame button etc
And a lack of extrinsic gameplay depth, lack of decent progression, lack of narrative depth, poorly executed moments because most of the game is built around experiencing initially but not after you've been buffed up, etc.

Also
I love Kass!

WOAH THIS IS EPIC

Actually I take back best traversal, Goron Rolling/Zora Swimming in MM is better than climbing/paragliding.

You just described literally every game with good combat.

I didn't know that good combat means baiting retarded AI so you can get an epic slow mo attack

Don't forget the game's large number of brain testing puzzles, like pic related.

Damn you're right, Bayonetta DOES have shit combat.

>best combat (lynels, combat shrines, the yiga and lizalfos are easily the best enemies in the entire series)
Lynels are easy and predictable when you have enough weapons. Combat shrines are repetitive and way too easy. Yiga clan is seriously underused. Lizalfos is "Wait them to attack or use bow"
Darknuts from TP are better imo
>best traversal, great horse riding, glider and climbing feels like they should've been in every past zelda
Climbing is nice, but you get paraglider way too early to get best use of it. I think Goron rolling and Zora swimming from MM are better
>best overworld
Big doesn't mean good. Lots of stuff to do, but is tad repetitive. No unique mini-dungeos for example. Only shrines and korok seeds. Feels like Ubisoft open world
>three amazing dungeons (the other 2 being just 'good')
None of the beasts are good. Hyrule Castle is nice, Yiga base as well.
>most towns and they're more comfy and lively than they've ever been
Yes.
>great side quests ignoring all fetch-quest ones
Most of them are shrine quests sadly. Very unused
>great soundtrack
No. Good sound design, bad soundtrack.
>the only truly significant weakpoints are low enemy variety, samey dungeon/shrine appearance and balancing (wep durability, food, lategame button mashing, etc.) issues
And lack of character development, underused characters in general, repetitive gameplay in the end, not a fun game to 100% thanks to korok seed bullshit and empty world in general. Lots of places that have nothing or only korok seed/shrine. No good jungle dungeon or underwater movement in general. Also armor system is just fucking broken
>Yea Forums hates it and insists that it is the worst zelda ever 0/10 not a zelda i hate open world can't wait for the sequel!
Why do you care about what Yea Forums thinks about games you like? This is the most shittiest place to have a conversation about videogames. People either play hyper contrarian and uses buzzwords and wojacks to communicate.

Still the best Zelda game.

For you it might be
For me it is TP, OoT and WW

>avatarfag has shit tastes

Wow what a surprise.

>MM's are better

They're really not. Right much of MM's sidequests just involve talking to different NPCs at different times, there's nothing engaging about them whatsoever from a gameplay perspective.

Also, Termina is rather small and empty without them. The only great thing about MM is its dungeons.

I happened to feel quite Gardevoir today
But if it bothers you I can use other images.
Also, that is what I meant with Yea Forums being shittiest place to have a conversation about games. Rather than arguing about the points, people just attacks the character or plain throws insults.
It's not healthy, nor will anyone leave an encounter like that happy. Builds bad emotions in mind about people who have different opinions than you.

Attached: 1549408849006.png (516x1431, 149K)

No one wants to argue with you because you type like a condescending holier-than-thou prick, so it's funner just calling you a retarded cuck and watching you seethe about it.

But why do you want to be rude to someone without any reason?
I do not think I am better than anyone here, I believe in total equality. I just want to be polite.
But if you enjoy calling me names and insulting me, go ahead. If it makes you happy, I don't mind.

WW/TP do not have better combat.
MM does not have a better overworld.
Ignoring that he didn't say BOTW has better dungeons, those three BOTW dungeons are very close behind.
MM side-quests also suffer from samey useless rewards (wow heart containers and I get to be ridiculously overpowered in the final boss, just like my favorite game BOTW!)
It is a great soundtrack. You are intentionally ignoring a myriad of tracks if you're going to argue otherwise.
You're rewarded in some way for literally almost everything you do so there is not a shortage of gameplay depth, your Link at the start of the game is drastically different at the end and there's no hour-long forced tutorials and story moments so it by default has the best pacing of any Zelda game, it lacks narrative depth only in the main quest and the towns and world have great 'story', and that bit about poorly executed moments (which are extremely rare and far inbetween because the world is carefully designed to guide you subconsciously) is just an extension of balancing issues.
All your comments about those specific enemies are caused by the lack of enemy variety. Those enemies didn't just get randomly easier, you got better and recognized the most efficient way to get rid of them. It doesn't change the fact that they are still by far the most enjoyable enemies to fight in the series and remain that enjoyable for a good long while.
Goron rolling and Zora swimming are not even a remotely fair comparison - these two movement options are within strict contexts and would not at all be practical in BOTW.
The overworld is not 'just filled with shrines and korok seeds'. Even ignoring that somehow those two things have been institutionalized as inherently bad and that you won't accept them as mini-dungeons, there's a fucktonne of unique places and instances in the world like the Horse God, Lurelin Village, Thunder Plateau, the labyrinths, etc. etc. (1/2)

(2/2)
And before you nitpick these places to death, yes they might be small and not have some fucking grappling-hook tier reward but there's an incredibly large volume of this stuff and a lot of it is chained together to almost feel dungeon-like, and to complain about how there aren't Hyrule Castle sized dungeons just randomly spotted and hidden in the world is kind of ridiculous and pedantic.
Yes, the beasts are good. Just because they replaced small keys with terminals, the item gimmick with a dungeon-moving gimmick and they don't have minibosses doesn't change the fact they're ultimately well designed and pretty fun. Yiga Hideout isn't a dungeon.
Again, see the previous post about the soundtrack.
>lack of character development
Which characters are not properly developed? This seems like an odd nitpick considering no previous Zelda games do this particularly well, but I'm struggling to think of an example where this even applies. Do you mean with the NPCs dotted around stables or something?
>underused characters
If you mean the champions, yes it would've been nice to see more of them.
>repetitive gameplay in the end
The game is very intentionally designed for you to only 'complete' about 30-50% of it before heading to Hyrule Castle, if we're talking about the percentage on the Sheikah Slate. Korok seeds are designed to keep you paying attention to your environment and to fill out the abundance of hidden corners with an actual meaningful reward, not for you to hunt down.
>Lots of places that have nothing or only korok seed/shrine.
You're just repeating what you've already said.
>No kungle dungeon
See above.
>or underwater movement in general.
Again, water does not make up much of any of the world of BOTW. Being able to swim underwater wouldn't magically add depth. I think this is the crux of the issue. I think you played the game expecting all these arbitrary things that would somehow equate to 'good game'.
>armor system is broken
Agreed.
