Sadly, not that I'm aware of. They're all player-made and there's not really a reliable way to rip them from the game besides finding screencaps of them.
Some of the greatest ones may well be lost to time, as the old days of DC/GC/XBOX pso are not well-documented in terms of culture, players, etc.

It's very alive and well, and can be played online from basically any PC, toaster or otherwise.
Pick your poison as far as what you want in a server, but it seems most people play on pic related since there are few, if any, hackers, and no donation/pay to win shit. Your mileage may vary on other servers.

You playing on 1 Person mode?
Signing up for quests normally means you've entered a game tuned for 2-4 players, so the monsters will be laying waste to you consistently.
Also really depends on class and gear, but early game shouldn't be that tough unless you're running an early melee FOmar or some shit that's really reserved for endgame.

1 Person Mode iirc (not playing it right now) but it did seem tuned for multiple people. If signing up for quests is for multiples, is there anything I can do solo besides just go through the levels?

Schtserv is fucking trash once schthack handed over the server to what's his cunt he was basically selling items to donators and banning people who called him out. Also the hdd the server ran off of died a few years back with zero backups.

Oh, if you select 1 person, then everything you do within that game is tuned for 1 person.
I would recommend just making sure you've got the best available gear you can get at any given time. PSO is so gear-centric that sometimes having even something junky like a Varista early on can make a big difference.

Man, I honestly feel like the game made for me. I love PSO2 and I think gameplay wise it's far superior but it fails to capture the cosmic feel that the original has. I wish I could find another game like PSO. So far the only things to ever gives me the similar vibes is Outlaw Star and Star Ocean.
