My first shiny was a bold feebas, still have that Milotic sitting somewhere. Hopefully I can pokebank it to the next game.

I want to say Bold, but I fished up a shitload. I know that the nature is vital to evolving it in gen 3 since some natures dislike the pokeblocks you want to give it. This save file is actually from a few years ago and I've already beaten the game - I even have pictures of the hall of fame screenshot. If this thread is around later I can at least post some photographic proof. But that was the last time I played Emerald.

Oh and for length, probably a bit under 6 hours over a few sessions. I would just go one tile at a time, fishing five times before moving on. If you take it area by area you can guarantee you'll find it.

it's not my team, Swampert was my starter.
I steamrolled the game with Shroomish, Swampert, and Crobat, these are freshly bred from trades off a new save file.
Wingull is a FLY slave and I have a Rock Smash Strength and Cut Aron in PC.

I remember doing that years ago but would get burnt out after a hour or so, so I never got one in gen 3.

I like Aggron's design too, but he's a shitmon, user.

Thing is so great, people and the AI both really struggle with its weird typing and big ol' bulk. I think gen 3 was a good time for fossils in general.

A Tropius can do all of those and it only takes up one spot.

you only encounter them mid to end game, after you've got most HMs.
HMs are retarded anyways.

Shitmon are no big deal when you're playing offline though, if anything they're far more interesting to use than almost everything else.

Tropius/Bibarel are the patrician HM Slaves
