Everyone who is mad at the Stadia are third world shitters
Daily reminder
>Third world
The US has shit internet, bud. Unless you're getting fiber, Stadia is going to be ass.
>no $2000 gaming PC / $500 console
>any controller / platform you want
>no downloads, just click on the game icon and play
the future is here bros
I'm not mad at Stadia. Don't get me wrong, I'll never use it, but it'll make Linux the defacto platform for PC gaming by forcing studios to adopt Vulkan and make sure their games work 100% on Stadia instances (Linux boxes).
I have fiber internet and I'm still not getting this gay shit
if you have a good enough connection to play Stadia downloads shouldn't be an issue
This
And PC niggas mad they spent 2k on something everyone else will get on their $200 pc
POST YOUR FACE WHEN YOU WON'T BUY A STADIA
Yea...no I'll keep my mod support.
Meh, if Stadia gets adopted by the market then hardware prices are going to have to drop significantly to compete and most PC enthusiasts are still going to build their own systems.
It also means we'll be able to play games with far less input delay.
>Everyone who is mad at the Stadia are third world shitters
The thing didn't even work great at their own controlled demos.
Not today shills
-25mbps MINIMUM to play
-SECONDS of input lag
-ZERO (0) worthwhile games announced
-dont even own your games
-have to join the google botnet to play
Sorry about your google stocks, go ahead and sell them now before Stadia fails like the rest of Google's attempts at hardware the past decade
>single player with massive input lag
ThE fUtUrE iS hErE Yea ForumsRoS
I wish the UK's internet was as cheap as India's.
ISPs gouge the fucking shit out of us for a mediocre service.
>implying the UK is not in europe
My parents have jewgle fiber
Who here looking forward to shooting up the ladders in every FPS after stadiashitters start joining?
>Uses 20gb of data an hour
>Tangible input lag, even in their announcement demonstration
It's dead on arrival.
Why would you not launch this in Japan or Korea, places with actually good internet?
This. Its clearly aimed at people who live in silicon valley only
I have an uncapped 500mb/s internet and I still hate it, fuck you. Imagine supporting the idea of losing even more ownership in anything.
>20gb of data an hour
How is that an issue? Internet has been unlimited for about 15 years now in the developed world.
Tencent owns those places while google owns mutts and a quarter of yurope
Both of those are still problems in silicon valley.
Because if this won't succeed in the united states then it's never going to be supported, and the US has an ISP oligarchy that instituted data caps in order to combat market changes they didn't want to compete with by punishing customers.

COMPRESSION
There is absolutely no fucking way they will provide the 30+mbit stream necessary to not have egregious artifacting. Casuals won't know the difference, of course, but it's useless to many people.
>Tencent owns Japan and Korea
???
I just hate normalfags desu.
I think you can just say Brazilians now
Asians won't put up with half-second input lag.
Kek, this is going to kills consoles m8, not PC.
PC gaming is full of people who will go out and buy high refresh rate monitors and/or lower settings to potato quality to reduce latency as much as possible.
Consolefags don't really care.
>no Japan
Enjoy your system with only western dev support.
As someone who's actually used Project Stream (on 350mb cable) the latency is between 30 and 120ms. So worst case is basically the same as playing in a UK server from East Coast US or vice versa.
With that said, everyone's normalized on the same connection rather than having different connections to a server, so uh...effectively pings shouldn't be a thing.
Daily reminder that the RIAA argued in court that fast internet is responsible for enabling piracy and the US judge agreed.
>please Mr corporate man. shove more of your giant "games as a service" dick in my ass
op you mother is a Babylonian whore
Ok keep your niche jap games that only .0000001 people care about
