D1C is basically just D1 with D5 visuals. No mechanics changes besides some very minor quality of life stuff (Healers gain EXP through healing, even that was added in a patch I believe). No new content either.
You can probably find other cheaper ways to play D1 if you really wanted to, but it's still a solid game, just a very simple graphical upgrade basically.
Desco is the best.

Too bad they already used Rozalin’s story in D2, that would’ve been cool to have her as the protag.
Something like:
>Rozalin is the daughter of former overlord
>Her parents died a long time ago in a war on her home planet
>She spends all her time trying to figure out what happened
>Randomly comes across a clue that some super powerful demon came to her home planet and massacred nearly everyone
>Spends the game finding allies and trying to find the super powerful demon who ruined her planet
>At the end of the game, finds out that *she* was the super powerful demon who was actually evil and destroyed her own planet and killed her parents, then she reincarnated into rozalin and wiped her memories, etc
I’m sure a professional writer could make it much more interesting, but it’d be nice to have a disgaea game with an actual good and interesting story beyond what we’ve had.
