I thought that was one of the worst parts of 1, especially because you have to do it twice if you wanna fight the superboss. Sulhalla, Tret and Mercury were my highlights.

i didn't mean i liked the path, just the moment you reached the lighthouse and the music change, it was a great feel to me
Yeah, I didn't care for it, the highlights for me were the second half of the first leg (Imil/Kolima) and the pursuit of Sheba (desert to hometown) were my highlights. Then again, I think 1 is kind of shit and 2 was much better.

As a kid I couldn't kill the final boss of GS and despite knowing there was a sequel, I just ignored it because I never finished the first game. God how fucking dumb I was for not forcing myself to finish it, playing TLA back then would have been absolutely magic.
