My PS4's hdmi port randomly died after 2 years, so now it's a brick. Sony wants like $120 to "repair" (aka refurbish) it. I bought it for $200 new.

The HDMI ports are fragile like I said if you take it to a electronics repair shop they should be able to fix pretty quickly/cheap. The xbone has the same issue people push to hard when putting the HDMI cable in.
