Kirby's inhale desperately needs fixing. The range of it is too short so it requires some pretty hard reads in 1v1, when Kirby does get a copy ability he usually loses it instantly after one or two hits, and as if that wasn't bad enough you're incentivized to use it even less since sucking up most projectiles will stick you in place like a retard open for attack but i guess its ok since you recover 1% health

It's also inferior to every succ move that exists. You go near Dedede or Krool and they'll get you regardless of your hitboxes. But with Kirby any hitbox will overpower the suction. It's not fair.

Fusion Suit seems the most ripe alt for Samus since it has enough official recolors and could easily have more BS'd for it.

It desperately need less starting lag and more priority over most attacks. Also side b needs a better hitbox due to how slow the move is and up b needs to be a bit more quick.

Make K.Rool's counter completely cover him. I don't get why Palutena gets a counter/reflector that'll completely protect her, on top of being an overall better character, while Rool gets stuck with something that is both predictable and takes a second to prepare. It especially sucks if you're fighting someone with a really fast projectile like charge shot or shadow ball.

What changes would you suggest in order to differentiate Daisy and Richter from their base forms? I know the easier method would be to just make them either stronger or faster variants, but I would really prefer if they took the Ken or Chrome route and gave them one or two new attacks. It's a long shot, but it's be really cool to see.

For Dark Samus, there are some custom moves from sm4sh that could be repurposed. There was a version of the screw attack that would propel you diagonally. They should reanimate it to look like her flying ball form from prime 2. I wouldn't mind if they just changed her specials really.

I quit playing Smash Ultimate because everyone online played a Top 8 character. Almost every match was a Palutena, Ness/Lucas, Wolf, Inkling, Mii Gunner, or Shulk. Ruined any and all enjoyment I was having with the game. Is online still plagued with 9 year olds that win by picking a top tier character and run away/spam the whole game or is the online actually fun now.

Pac-Man is not generally like most characters you play is.
You should definitely learn how Hydrant, Fruit Charge, and Trampoline all play together. The hydrant you place down will be a wall you do not want your opponent crossing. At low percents you want to charge up to a Galaxian or Key to rack up damage. And at high percents switch to Bell and Key.
You should also be familiar with your OOS options, primarily Nair.

Other tips: you can cancel Your Charge with a light shield press or jump. If you pickup your fruit, you can press B to charge it up from where it is and allow you to normally attack again. Use your trampoline and place a hydrant behind it to force a jump advance. And try charging your fruit offstage if you still have a double jump.

You'll learn combos and more about other fruit as you play. Good luck

Fruits other than oranges, apples and cherries (in edge guarding situations) aren't really worth, right (like that green fruit that looks strong sometimes, but its worse than the apple in every way, isnt it?)
I'm trying to learn the Hydrant angles, but they are hard to remember since they change with each attack AND to execute mid fight (this is something I'm having a hard time with, I get all messed up when I'm focusing on learning the angles).
Using the trampoline on the stage doesn't make me super vunerable to attacks because of the recover ending lag and linearity?

He's in limbo, and in general outclassed. No one is really proficient in him to get decent results. Some problems he has are his middling recovery (the wings intangibility can only help you so much), his weight (107, shares it with Wario and Ike), and many of his specials requiring commitment. The only way to hold a fruit as an item is to pick it back up. You can however throw it at your hydrant and grab it when it pops up if you don't want to chase it. Similarly, you can toss your fruit at a wall and grab it on the rebound.
But yeah, you do need to somewhat predict what fruit would be best for your current situation and plan accordingly. When you get your opponent off the stage, it's your call whether to chase them or use the time to set up a fruit or hydrant. It's just a part of playing the Pac.

If you can, hydrant launches work best with key/bell/galaxian combined to provide a wider area an opponent has to guard against.

Another Lucas main, I agree. The buffs he got for freeze not putting you in freefall and not getting cancelled out by platforms are more than enough. His magnet should be buffed and be the move that sends you at that goofy angle, not freeze. Just give its hitbox like 10% more range, or make the initial windbox a weak physical hitbox.

Lucas doesn't have much outside of freeze spam, since PK Thunder is garbage outside of edgeguarding and Fire isn't too rewarding for the risk of spamming it constantly. I don't struggle much with Lucas spam since I always luck out and have G&W when I get paired up against him. A bucketed Freeze is pretty much a guaranteed stock.

You can't switch names anymore, which was the only method of disrespect I can think of outside of matches against randos. Pro Controller is equal to if not better than the GC Controller due to its extra buttons to map. that's straight up wrong and doesn't factor in a ton of different stuff like character difficulty, ability in lag, how fun they are, etc. In my example stuff like pudge and ivoker are insanely common just because they are fun to play even though neither is particularly good right now. If anything it benefits anti-meta players

Honestly more colors in general is one of my most wanted things, I don't even care that much about alt costumes relatively speaking. It's a real letdown to not have more colors than in 4, since some characters have straight up fugly colors (looking at you DK).

You're not missing much. OGA is the worst stage I've had the displeasure of playing on, and that's quite a feat in a game where 75m exists. Best case scenario would've been a hazardless form, but even then it's just a worse Corneria at that point. Fucking awful stage.

I would like there to be an overhaul of the gameplay that probably can’t be done in a patch. Overall, having a cool down on projectiles and possibly smash attacks would be fantastic. Also there needs to be a bit more endlag on all the moves in the game. I find it ridiculous that Mario can use upsmash one second then go straight into down smash the next. Smash attacks need to be commitments not just something you throw out like a jab. As for projectiles, main reason to add cooldown is to regulate spamming bc it can be ridiculous especially with how ultimate functions. Random things I want changed too is zelda’s Neutral b should not do damage, if anything just push away, and online bc i hate losing 3x the amount of points I would gain in 1 match/it was poorly thought out
