No motivation to finish the game after I found out I got locked out of multiple bosses because I missed one easily missable eavesdrop.

I'm at the last boss but this is truly the only garbage design part of this game. It makes all your work and choices inconsequential. Undermines the whole dragonrot mechanic. They could've made it so much more interesting, but they chose the lazy way.

Anyone know if you can share a save, if so, anyone got one?

Which bosses you talking about here?

you didnt lock yourself out of anything user. Also the fact that you think this just proves that you're a wiki-using faggot and dont deserve to have ANY opinion on this games """design""".

In the Shura ending you fight Emma and normal Isshin. Gathering the requirements for the Purification ending you fight Owl with different abilities. You can easily miss the eavesdropping to trigger the Purification chain of events.

So you missed ONE secret boss? Isnt that the point of him being secret? Also stop spoiling yourself you dumb fag.

Don't know, my mate told me that you should get some second bell or something. I asked him what you could do with some ingredients that you collected and he told me that, but it never happened to me, then he told me about this eavesdrop.

It's trash because it makes all your choices up to this point inconsequential. It's just fucking lazy.

What choices? Also how does there being a secret ending have ANY effect on your choices? What kind of retarded logic is this? Are you seriously mad that you cant get all endings in a single playthrough?

You literally only get locked out of one boss battle.
There are 4 endings, and that boss battle is needed for one of them. The "bad" end skips a whole area.
You're saying that it makes all your choices up to that point inconsequential, but it literally does the opposite. By choosing to not go exploring, you chose to progress with the standard route, and go for the most common ending.
Is it really lazy of them to make players be able to experience four endings, with different bosses each?

Return does not have any unique bosses compared to the standard ending.

That’s what ng+ is for

Just eat all the umbrella cables bro

You're right, but it's the longest route in the game, due to needing to gather ingredients, the new dialogue, etc.

This issue is that even if you did all the prerequisites you still get jack shit, I got all the ingredients but there's nothing I can do with them.

You're literally crying about replay value? You aren't meant to experience everything in a single playthrough of any FromSoft game

>in ashina castle
>at the top floor with idol statue
>infront of me is a door, presumably leading to a boss fight
>step back and continue exploring castle
>enter room with 3 tengus
>go upstairs and leap out window, onto the upper roofs of the castle
>can see the boss and (emma?) and it looks like I can just hop into the arena from outside
W-What should I do? Does something special happen if I enter the fight from outside?

Go in nerd

The only way to enter it is from the outside.

Out the window, up to the top

oh really? I haven't actually tried opening the door infront of the idol statue.
also there's so fucking many open paths to go after blazing bull, is there any optimal way to go? I'm afraid of fucking up the order of things

meant for

You can explore the castle as much as you want. When you're done you should approach the open-area at the top of the castle to progress the story.

There's an easy miniboss after the idol.

Just do it on new game you nigger. It takes like one hour to meet Owl.

>You're literally crying about replay value?

>Permanently missable PONR are replay value

If you wanted the true end you should have checked all the requirements first. There's literally nothing wrong with the way they implemented it.
BB has a boss you can get locked out of too.

Why would I want to spoil the game for myself? I got all the possible ingredients, which gives me a really good indication what's going on.

They literally spoiled their own endings to me by making me do the whole quest and then locking you out at the end, it's literally retarded.

>Why would I want to spoil the game for myself?
It's hardly a spoiler to say you needed to eavesdrop more.

Ingredients? Those are for the other ending. The one you're not locked out of

>i was locked out of some bosses for not doing something
>this means that your choices are inconsequential
uhhhh

You mean the one that also triggered after I was locked out and supplied me with a useless ingredient? Yeah that one's also ruined.

Like I said I did the whole questlines, but they lock you out at the end.

If it started at the beginning, it would give you actual encounters and thus replay value, now they spoiled their own stuff to me, it's bizarre really.

Imagine being this dumb lol

So at the very start of the game I got the sculptor sick with dragonrot
emma went inside with him

people told me on Yea Forums there's a hole to eavesedrop on them, and I found it only later after he was cured and Emma was outside

did I cuck myself out of something?

I'll torque the jaw off of a 40 pound monkey if it bites me. Good luck eating when you can't chew ever again.

it leads to different endings and you can only view one, you retard

you get the satisfaction of getting the canonical best ending for everyone involved

>multiple endings are replay value
ftfy

I'll torque the nuts off of a 400 pound neckbeard if it grabs me. Good luck wanking when you can't nut ever again.

Nobody understands what you're talking about user.

>another puny human underestimating animal strenght

there's a reason we needed fire and weapons my dude

>OP misses ending because he's not curious/thorough enough
>gets bootyblasted over it

Another human pretending to be an animal pretending like humans aren't also animals. Humans have the benefit of having a keener understanding of physiology and know that lower jaws cannot withstand a modicum of lateral force before breaking. Bite force becomes nullified if the fulcrum is off center.
